Jaehyo and ______ were walking through the park when suddenly he felt her link her arm with his.

His heart was pounding so hard, it felt like it was going to leap right out of his chest at any moment.

“oooh Cotton candy!!~” ______ squealed happily, jumping up and down like a little child.

He just watched her and chuckled at her cute childish behavior.

“Do you really need sugar in your system? You’re hyper enough as it is.” He said. ‘She is so cute…My heart goes crazy! Why does this always happen?!’

“Jaehyo Oppa…You’re such a party pooper!~” She whined and pouted. “but it smells so good…”

“You want a cotton candy?” he asked. “I’ll get you one.”

“really?”

“Mhm…Ahjussi…I’ll take one cotton candy please?” Jaehyo asked pulling out his wallet. He took the cotton candy from the vendor, handing him money, and placed his wallet back in his pocket. “Kamsahamnida!~”

He walked back to her waving the cotton in front of her nose.

“Smell it!~” he teased.

“Oppa!~” she whined.

“You want it?

“Yes!~~” she giggled.

“Follow the scent!~”

“Aw…Jae-HO Oppa!~”

“That’s it…I’m going to eat it all and not share one bit with you.”

“hmph…Jaehyo Oppa!~ You’re such a jerk!” she pouted.

 ‘Damn she’s cute!~ You are killing me here ______-ah!!~’ he thought. “Do you really need more sugar?”

“Yep!~” ______ said happily. “How else do you expect me to be my cheerful upbeat self all the time?”

‘When I’m alone at home I’m always depressed and I don’t care about anything else but self hate. Then when I’m with her…I’m a whole different person.’ Jaehyo thought holding out the sugary treat to ______. “That's true...Here you go.”

“You only bought one?”

“It’s for you…So maybe your cheerful happiness can rub off on me.”

“Yeah…you’re always so grumpy…”

“Psh!! I am not!” he scoffed.

She wrapped her arms around him giving him a big ‘thank you’ hug. He tensed up and his cheek burned pink.

“Thank you Jaehyo Oppa…” ______ said, standing up on her tiptoes.

‘What is she…doing?’ he thought as he watched her closely. She pressed her lips to his cheek.

"You really are the most amazing friend ever." she said.

"I-I'm really not...There's nothing great about me..." he stuttered.

"Well, Oppa, we've only known each other for a month...you might be even more daebak than I thought!~"

"I doubt that.." he said in a low monotone.

"Hmm...Waaaa!~ This is really good cotton candy...Here Jaehyo Oppa, try some!~" ______ said ignoring his negativity. She pulled a piece off and held it out to him.

"No thanks..."

"Aw come on Grumpo!~ Just one bite!~~"

 “Um…” He hesitated and just stared at it for a moment before accepting it. Her thumb lightly brushed against his lips in the process. If he wasn't blushing enough before...he sure was now. ‘It’s a good thing she can’t see me! I’m probably as red as a tomato!!’

In past, all he wanted was a meaningless hookup without getting emotionally involved. From the slight touch, he was flying. He had never felt like this before.

“You don’t like it?” she  asked.

He didn’t reply, he was too busy zoning out. (haha XD)

“Jaehyo Oppa?!~”

“Hmm?” he said snapping out of his trance to look at her.

“You don’t like the cotton candy?”

“Oh..N-no…I do…”

“What with you? Are you lost in your own little world? Jaehyo Oppa…you’re so cute!~” She giggled.

“W-what?” he stuttered. ‘She said I’m cute? AISH!~ Will my cheeks ever have time to go back to the normal color?!?’

“Come back to reality, hmm?” She said.

“Oh…um…sorry. Alright…I’m back.” He said. ‘WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME?!~ Yah! Ahn Jaehyo! Micheoseo?!?! AISH!!~’

______ couldn’t help but laugh.

‘Jaehyo Oppa really is cute!~’

“So..um…now that you’ve had your sugar fix and will probably be driving me insane for the rest of the day…” he started. ‘No doubt about that…’ “…How about we go get some real food?”

“Cotton candy is real food!~”

“No it’s not! It’s pure sugar! It’ll just rot your teeth!~” He scolded. ‘That would be a shame because I’m never seen such an amazingly beautiful smile in my life. Who are you kidding Ahn Jaehyo?! You’ve never paid attention to a girl’s smile before…’

“Nuh uh!~ I brush well!~ So mehrong!~” She said sticking her, now blue stained, tongue out at him. She finished up the cotton candy and tossed the stick in the nearest trash can.

“Smurf..” he chuckled crossing his arms over his chest.

______ playfully smacked his arm.

“Grouchy smurf…I bet your tongue is blue too..”

“How did you know the cotton candy was blue?”

“Aww…Jaehyo Oppa are you slow? I thought I already told you…I’m not completely blind…it’s just really really blurry!~ Pay attention!!~” she teased.

“Oh..Okay! That’s how it’s going to be? Well I was going to buy you meat but now, I’m not! Nope! Not anymore!~”

“Meat? I like meat..” ______ said  sticking out her lower lip in a cute pout.

“Nope! You’re aegyo attacks won’t work! My mind is made up! Looks like just have to starve…you’re becoming a fatty anyway.” Jaehyo teased poking at ______’s stomach.

“Yah!~ Meanie! Make fun of the blind girl..” she whined. “Yep real tough guy.”

She pouted and sighed.

“Are you trying to make me feel guilty with that pitiful look?” he asked with a smirk on his face.

“Is it working?” she asked.

“N-no!” He stuttered, obviously lying. ‘YES! Aish! She is good with using her aegyo!~’ “Aish! You win!! FINE!!!! Come on! I’ll buy you food..”

“YAY!”she said happily holding onto his arm as they walked to the restaurant. “Hmm..You know, Jaehyo Oppa, This kind of feels like a date…”

“D-date..” he stuttered. “Yeah…it kind of does feel like a date…What does a date feel like anyway?”

“You don’t know?!” She shouted in disbelief. “How do you not know?”

“YAH! I didn’t exactly go out on dates alright?!” Jaehyo snapped. “Why?! How many boyfriends have you had?”

“Uh…I’ve got dating experience.” she said softly.

“mhm… how much…”

“I’ve had a couple of boyfriends.”

‘Why do I feel so jealous right now? All she said was that she’s had a few boyfriends and now I suddenly have the urge to hunt them down…’ Jaehyo thought as he clenched his fists tightly.

“Why so curious?”

“Uh..N-No reason? ANYWAY! I’m hungry…let’s go eat now!” he stuttered nervously walking into a restaurant.

He was sitting across from her in the booth, stealing glances at her when he should have been paying attention to grilling the meat.

‘At least she eats well…how can someone eat so cutely?’ he thought.

He just stared at her as she made a lettuce wrap.

“here!” She said holding it out to him.

“You eat it..”

“But I made it for you..” She said.

“It’s got something bad in there doesn’t it?” he asked eyeing her suspiciously.

“Of course not.” She giggled still holding the lettuce wrap out in front of his face.

“You keep trying to feed me today…I can do it myself. I’m a grown man..” he said

“Come on! Someone needs to make sure you eat well Jaehyo Oppa.” she said with a big smile.

Jaehyo felt his heart skip a beat and he instantly softened.

“W-why?” he said barely above a whisper but she heard him.

“It’s simple…” ______ said. He stared at her waiting for her answer. “I care about you…Oppa..”

“No one has ever said that to me before..”

“No one? You’ve never heard that from anyone? What about your parents?”

“Nope, not once…” he said reaching up to wipe a tear before it fell.

______ got up and walked around to the sit down beside him. She wrapped her arms around his torso, hugging him tight.

“Well I guess I’m special then..”

‘You have no idea…just how special you are to me…’

“Okay…now eat this…” She said putting the lettuce wrap into his mouth. He pulled in close.

“Thank you…”

“For what?”

“For being my friend…and caring for me..”

“Of course Oppa…um..Jaehyo Oppa?”

“Yeah..”

“Is something burning?”

“AISH!!~ I forgot about the meat!” he panicked turning back to look at the grill. He poked at the burnt pieces with tongs. “Okay…don’t eat that…it’s not meat anymore. Now it’s basically just charcoal…Oops..”

“Aigoo!~” she giggled. “Oppa!!~”
