4 days later

Zee’s POV

Somehow that recent evidence didn’t hurt as much as when the first evidence I had, which was a bunch of sweet emails. Alexander has always been a ladies’ man even in high school.  After that text I sent him, I never talked to him again. He kept texting the usual stuffs like it wasn’t him, that is was edited by his enemies etc. but I don’t believe in his crap anymore, too tired of listening to it already. It’s the same old lines, never ending “I am the victim” card. Screw him! His calls were also left unanswered and unreturned. I will now start a clean slate and finally get rid of Alexander Wang.

Now that everything is over I kept thinking why I even got back with him in the first place, twice in fact. Casey is right I’ve really been stupid.

Speaking of the devil, ever since our little truce a few days ago our whole cat and dog relationship improved a bit. We don’t argue that much anymore and thre are a few laughs now, but we still bicker at times. It’s been a lazy Thursday morning for us and we’re all just lazing at the lobby.

            “hey, is there something else to do around here?” we looked up and saw Casey hanging in the stairs looking bored as well.

            “if there’s something to do then we’d be doing it right now.” I replied

            “aish! I’m bored, SaeMi-ah.” He continued down the stairs and slouched beside me. I saw Kim Shin and EunHee look up from their reading materials.

            “yah, since its not busy you can leave early and do what you celebrities do when you’re bored.” I said slouching as well. Lately this peace thing made me realize we have many things in common.

            “I’m sick of it all and all recordings are done already, we just have 2 weeks left till the album release until then I have nothing much to do.” He moaned. He really likes to complain this guy. I gave him a look that clearly says I will not be tolerating your childishness.

            “you know what---“ I was cut off at the sound of the front door opening. Kim Shin and Eun Shin both stood up.

            “annyeonghaseyo!” they both greeted. Casey and I looked at the front door and stood up as well.

            “oh! What are you doing here?” Casey said sounding surprised.

            “I should be asking you the same thing.” A man wearing shades and with dark red hair said. He was holding a terrier. He was grinning at Casey. I wonder why he looks familiar.

            “I’m visiting a friend.” Casey almost stuttered, but I guess he’s not the king of snappy retorts for nothing.

            “right. sure.” The man grinned. Looking at him he doesn’t seem like that old. Maybe near Casey’s age. “won’t you introduce me to your friend?” he gestured at me.

            “oh right…SaeMi this is Jungmo, Jungmo this is SaeMi—“

            “yah! That’s not my real name.” I cut him off with a slap to the arm then I looked at his friend. “it’s Zee Lau.” We bowed and shook hands.

            “Lau? Are you related to Henry?” Jungmo asked. I wonder how he knew Henry. Maybe he’s a celebrity too?

            “yes, he’s my cousin.”

            “ah…you don’t look alike.” He said scrutinizing my face a bit.

            “we’ll, we’re not siblings so our looks could come from the other side of the family. I simply replied, smiling. He smiled back.

            “Jungmo is from the band The Trax. They’re friends with Henry and played together in one of our concerts.” Casey butted in. I realize my best friends were not there anymore.

            “oh yeah now I remember, you’re the guitarist right?” he nodded. Henry showed me a clip of them playing once.

            “Jungmo-ah, you still haven’t answered my question, why are you here?” Casey asked arms crossed.

            “this is a pet hotel right? I’m here to check in my dog Henry.” My brows raised a bit.

            “your dog’s name is Henry?”

            “it’s just a coincidence.” Jungmo explained. I guess my tone was kind of threatening…

I took Jungmo and gave him to one of our staffs while he and Casey talked for a bit before he left. Jungmo is not that talkative albeit a shy guy. But I think he’s nice enough to tolerate a certain someone’s attitude.

A few people came in after Jungmo left so we now have something to do…finally! Kim Shin now at the front desk, EunHee checking the guests and Casey at the baths…I think he’s doing the dogs first.

I turned at the sound of the front door opening and saw 3 boys coming in with their dogs...

            “annyeonghaseyo” I greeted and bowed.

            “annyeonghaseyo!” they all greeted back and bowed. I don’t know what is it but I these 3 boys look familiar…is this déjà vu day or something?’

            “noona, can we check our dogs in?” asked the boy who looked like the youngest of the three. He really looks young around 17 or 18 I would say but his aura seem like even younger.

            “sure, just fill up these forms.” I handed each of them forms and they sat at the lounge table. I kept on thinking where have I seen these boys, I know I’ve seen them somewhere I just can’t put my finger to it.

            “SaeMi-ssi, were out of dog shampoo.“ I turned to see Casey walking down the stair with wet and soapy long rubber gloves; he was holding his hands up to prevent water from dripping. Yeah that helps, the floor is already wet. He took off his apron why not the gloves? Does he want people to have an accident?

            “Heechul hyung!” I turned towards the boys again; the feminine looking one appeared to be the one who called Casey. Casey peered behind me and saw the 3 boys.

            “yah, SHINee, what are you doing here?” Casey demanded. His voice raised a bit.

Did he just call them SHINee? Argh! So that’s why they’re familiar. I really should memorize the faces and names of famous idols asap so I don’t keep racking my brain.

            “Minho-ssi has Dream Team shooting and we’re going with him.” Replied the eldest. I think.

            “really?” Casey sounded doubtful.

            “ne, hyung!” replied the youngest. I just kept staring at them.

            “what are you three doing? Introduce yourselves to noona.” Casey suddenly demanded which made me jump a bit. I guess he noticed my silence.

            “annyeonghaseyo! Kim Jonghyun-imnida.” The oldest one said.

            “Kim Ki Bum-imnida better known as Key!” said the feminine looking one giving a salute and a wink. I have a feeling he’s a younger version of Casey.

            “SHINee’s maknae, Lee Tae Min-imnida.” Chimed the youngest with a very big smile. He is so cute! I wanna squish him. I just gave him a smile and bowed at each of them.

            “annyeonghaseyo, Zee Lau-imnida.” They all smiled back. Why is this day full of celebrities?

            “hyung, why are you here?” Jonghyun went closer to Casey staring at the gloves.

            “I’m a volunteer here.” I guess he can’t deny the gloves and what he said when he came down.

            “jinja?” Taemin suddenly jumped excitedly holding his poodle. He is a very famous idol and yet acts like a little kid. No wonder a lot of people love them. “Zee-noona, can I volunteer too?” Taemin suddenly asked. I was taken aback.

            “eh? Why?” I reacted quickly that I didn’t think of anything else to say.

            “it’s fun to be with animals, and I love dogs, can I noona? Pleaseeeeee?” he pouted. I blinked.

            “well, if you want.” What else can I say? He looks so adorable, how can I say no?

            “yah, don’t you have any schedules?” Casey is now standing beside me and I didn’t realize it. They all looked at him.

            “you can just drop by anytime you are free.” I said before they could answer him. Its obvious that he is scaring the boys, not that they’re not used to it but still.

            “jinja?! Gomawoyo Zee noona!” Taemin was literally bouncing.

            “can I volunteer too, noona? I like cats but I’ve never had one.” Key suddenly raised his other arm.

            “sure.” He clapped.

Jonghyun also asked if he could also volunteer and when I agreed he made and “aw” sound similar to Michael Jackson’s. if these boys will volunteer here soon I think there wouldn’t be any boring day. Casey beside me was unusually silent and looked like he was thinking about something.

Taemin’s Eve, Jonghyun’s Roo and Key’s Coco were handed to the staffs and placed in the overnight area. When the three boys left I was about to ask Casey what he was thinking when a tall guy entered the hotel with a big black and white husky and oh my is he goodlooking, I meant the dog…well, the guy too…

            “oh! Yunho-ah!” Casey said taking off his gloves (finally!) and they gave each other a high five.

            “Hyung, I didn’t know you’re here.”  He grinned. Something in his grin tells me he’s lying.

            “I’m just volunteering.”

            “ahhh…ok…”

A few introductions were made and I found out he’s from another popular idol group DBSK. Yunho didn’t stick around for too long and left after exchanging a few words with Casey.

            “why are your friends keep popping in?” I finally asked him after handing him the dog shampoo.

            “why are asking me? I’m as surprised as you are.” He replied putting his gloves back on.

            “whatever. Anyway, are you almost done with the dogs? If not I can just do the cats, there’s nothing left to do.” I suggested. All the stock arrival checking are done so might as well do something else useful.

            “did you see how many dogs came in just now? 5 and Yunho’s dog is not a Chihuahua either.” He sounded a bit pissed. He could’ve just answered yes or no, jeez!

            “hey if you want we can trade, there are just a few cats anyway.”

            “it’s fine, just help me with the dogs.”

            “fine.”

We reached the third floor and took the dog that he was about to give a bath. I took some towels and we divided tasks. He gives them a bath and I dried them off.

Heechul’s POV

Ugh! I’ve been spotted! Do I deserve this? I’m sure they’re now spreading the news that I’ve been giving dogs a freakin’ bath! The work doesn’t bother me, the only thing that would is their teasing. I am absolutely sure it would be nonstop.

Right now, SaeMi and I are giving the dogs a bath in silence. Should I say were too absorbed?

I glanced at her, she seems to be thinking about something. Could it be her boy—err…ex? When I mentioned to Henry about telling me if they break up, it is just a joke. Hey! I always joke around when it comes to girls but I always am loyal. I won't deny the fact that SaeMi impressed and amazed me when we first met but that’s just it. Many girls have appealed to me that way so there’s no use in saying that I am attracted to her or something, not that she isn’t attractive.

            “SaeMi-ssi, what are you thinking?” I nudged her.

            “nothing. And why are you suddenly being formal with me? Do you have a fever or something?” she teased.

            “I just feel like it. Can’t I change my preferences when I want to?” I retorted. She raised an eyebrow but still grinned.

            “well, just go back to being informal, it’s giving me goosebumps.”

I looked at her and laughed.

            “what?” she asked with a look of confusion.

            “nothing. So have your ex been bothering you?” she was caught by surprise.

            “yeah, calls and text kept coming in. I’ve already deleted my email coz he flooded it with emails.” She didn’t look up and just continued on drying Taemin’s poodle.

            “have you answered any of it?” am I sounding too meddlesome?

            “no, he’s full of crap and I don’t plan on taking any of it.” She replied. She sounded a little bit mad.

            “good for you. Choose someone better next time. If you want I can introduce some of my friends to you.”

            “no thanks! I have no thoughts in dating soon.” Somehow I felt uncomfortable.

            “suit yourself. But if he still bothers you let me at him I can handle an like him.” She laughed again..it’s addicting!

            “thanks but I can handle it.”

We continued with the last dogs in silence and after the bathing we went downstairs and had lunch. This routine became a part of my week now. I didn’t realize I was really getting too comfortable.

            “Heechul-ssi, your new hairstyle suits you.” EunHee commented. I changed my hairstyle on Monday when I had a schedule; I cut it shorter and dyed it. It is still blonde but its brighter and lighter.

            “thanks, but I know I look good in any hairstyle.” I praised myself wriggling my eyebrows. Kim Shin and Eun Hee laughed but Sae Mi just rolled her eyes.

            “it’s really hard to impress this woman, I wonder how her ex got to her.” I said and she slapped my arm.

            “yah! That hurts.”

            “stop commenting on my love life then.” She said but in any case laughed as well.

We exchanged laughs as we ate. When we finished a few clients arrived. We all greeted them as usual. Sae Mi went in the office to answer a phone call while I was the last one to go back up.

            “hyung!” I turned to look who called me. It was Lee Hongki.

            “oh Hongki-ah, what are you doing here?” stupid question, I can clearly see his Elisya.

            “Elisya here needs a place to stay for the night, we will be shooting an MV.” Hongki said. I knew Hongki and by the looks of it he’s hiding something from me.

            “really? Are telling the truth?”

            “n…ne hyung!” he kept blinking. I stared at him. He kept avoiding my eyes. I know something’s up. I just knew something’s up. First it was Jungmo then SHINee then Yunho now Hongki. And then it clicked.

            “aish! You stay here!” I pointed at Hongki and his eyes became really big. I took out my phone and dialed Leeteuk’s number. I knew it was Choco I saw last Monday it had to be. That dog seemed to know me when it came in; I thought it was just a coincidence but now I don’t think so. I didn’t see the person who picked Choco up coz had a schedule but I know it was either Eunhyuk or Leeteuk.

I saw Sae Mi walk past me while I was dialing Leeteuk’s number.

            “SaeMi-ah!”

            “I’m just going to the pharmacy a bit, I’m having a migrane.” I wonder what’s wrong.

Leeteuk’s phone was ringing.

            “yoboseyo?” he answered. Now you’re gonna get it oh dear leader.

Leeteuk’s POV

            “yoboseyo?” I answered my phone without looking who it was. I was in the dressing room with Eunhyuk, we just finished our taping for Strong Heart.

            “YAH! PARK JUNGSU!”  I quickly put the phone away at arms length. That shout nearly burst my eardrums. I looked at the caller and it was Heechul. Oh boy…he finally found out.

            “what? Don’t shout, Heechul-ah, my ear hurts.” I put the phone by my left ear and rubbed the other. Eunhyuk, the culprit, just looked at me with nervous curiosity painted all over his face.

            “you very well know ‘what’.”

            “I don’t, so please tell me.” Heechul can really hold a grudge so might as well act innocent.

            “Jungmo, SHINee, Yunho and Hongki came in here today and you expect me to believe that you don’t know? I saw Choco here a few days ago, so you and Eunhyuk are probably behind all of this. And don’t tell me you have no idea coz the both of you are almost practically joined at the hip!” he ranted. *sigh* can we still deny it?

            “calm down. Let’s talk about this when we get home.” I replied trying to calm down the rampaging Heechul.

            “we sure will definitely talk about this.” I heard him hang up and I turned to Eunhyuk, Shindong just came in with a sandwich.

            “yah, were dead. He knows already. Why did you have to give Donghae a copy of that video anyway?” I almost raised my voice, not in anger of course, maybe in panic?

            “I didn’t know, hyung. After I showed it to him he borrowed my phone I didn’t know he would be transferring it to his phone.” Eunhyuk explain, a little bit panicked himself.

This is what happened, when Donghae was showing it to the other members during a break in a show, SHINee saw it and the 3 boys wanted to see their hyung but were warned not to but I guess they had the same idea as Eunhyuk and used their dogs as excuses. Yesung also had a copy and everything just snowballed I guess. I had no clear knowledge as to how Yunho knew, his name is U-Know after all, it just happened that way.

            “whatever we do now, we’re gonna be murdered soon.” I said gloomily.

            “yeah by Kim Heechul hyung.” Shindong added biting onto his sandwich. Eunhyuk and I just groaned in despair.

Heechul’s POV

Hongki already escaped when I was on the phone but during the time one of the staff took his dog and he just signed the forms and bolted. He had seen me mad so I couldn’t blame him. But I am going to be grilling a monkey and an angel later.

It’s time to tell Sae Mi. I decided to go to her. I went out and saw her just standing there looking at something.

            “SaeMi-ah, what are you---“ I turned to look at the direction she was looking and saw a tall man standing with flowers in hand. He was wearing a guilty, apologetic smile.

            “Alexander?” she said.
