Zee’s POV

Darn it! My whole body aches from sitting for too long. I’m back at the apartment and just woke up from another power sleep. Good thing the hotel is closed for the weekend or I will really have to make it up for the girls. The girls…

I covered my face with both of my hands. They will want to know about what happened during the concert and I will have to tell them about Casey and me.

I can’t help but groan from just imagining their reactions.

            “Zee, we’re home!” Eun Hee’s bubbly voice rang out in the loving room.

Why do they have to appear now?

I stood up and went out to meet them.

            “hey girls, how’s you trip?” I asked trying not to think about what I am going to announce soon.

            “same old same old. My relatives were happy that I took the time to go home again.” Kim Shin said putting her luggage in her room.

            “anyway, we bought dinner on our way here since we met at the mall. Let me just get it ready.” Eun Hee said holding up the take out bag.

            “smells good! Let me set the table then.”

We were quiet for a while. Eun Hee transferred the food to the serving plates while I took the bowls and chopsticks.

            “so, how was YOUR trip? Anything interesting happened?” I flinched at Kim Shin’s question as she bounded out of her room followed by hyung.

            “well, it was ok…it rained during the concert though.” I tried saying as nonchalant as possible.

            “uh huh…I read some article on the internet this morning though.” Eun Hee said wriggling her eyebrows at me as she sat down.

            “what article?”

            “well, about the mysterious violinist at the concert and about a certain group of boys giving her some roses and a particular someone dragging someone off the stage.” EunHee explained.

An article came out already? Those media people are very fast nowadays and they even mentioned about those roses thing.

            “you know how immature those boys are; they were just playing around. Maybe giving me some sort of initiation or something.” I said starting to eat.

            “then how would you explain Heechul-ssi’s behavior then?” Kim Shin asked.

This is the question I’ve been really dreading them to ask.

            “you know him, he’s---“

RING!!! RING!!!

The incessant ringing of the phone cut me off; save by the bell, right I stood up and picked it up.

            “yeoboseyo?”

            “ZEE!!!!” the girl on the other line screamed! I was so shocked that I literally had to take the phone an arm away from my ear. The person on the other line, whoever she was, was still screeching nonstop!

            “who’s this?” I tried asking but still not putting the phone back to my ear. I am not going to risk my hearing for this phone call, no effing way.

            “Zee, it’s me Hanna!” the person on the other line answered in english. My eyes widened.

            “Hanna? How are you? It’s been so long!” I Haven’t seen or heard from her since I left Canada. Hanna is Henry’s 17 year-old sister. We’re not as close as Henry and I are but still we talk.

            “I’m good. Oh Zee! Guess what? Mom and dad finally gave me permission to visit you and Henry there in Korea! Isn’t it great?”  she spazzed. I froze.

Hanna is coming to visit? This is going to be a disaster!

Remember that time when I said I didn’t get much interest in Super Junior? She was kind of one of the reason why. When she heard Henry would be playing the violin in their Don’t Don MV she started researching everything about the boys; something I found really absurd. She even researched a lot more when Henry was about to debut in SJM. It was around that time she fell in love with the group. She just couldn’t shut about them.

What do you expect from a 14-yr old fan girl back then, right? anyway, at that point even hearing the word “super” will make me cringe. She was that crazy and I was that traumatized. One person she couldn’t stop talking about though was none other that the leader, Leeteuk. He was her absolute bias.

            “oh…uh...really? when will you arrive?” I was trying so hard not to sound anxious.

            “I’ll be there on the 29^th. So 3 days from now. I’m so excited! Can’t wait to see Leeteuk-oppa!” see what I mean. It wouldn’t help either when Henry and I would repeatedly remind her that Leeteuk-ssi is 10 years older than her.

Errr…made a mental note not to say this in front of Teukie oppa.

            “Does Henry know about this?”  I asked expecting the answer. Henry loves and misses his sister of course but you know it’s just awkward when your sister can’t stop talking about your hyung; My sympathies to mochi.

            “uhmmm…no. I… want to surprise him.” Judging by her tone she was trying to make a fast excuse. She knew that if Henry finds out about her visit he wouldn’t let her come. “please don’t tell him, Zee! Please! please! Pretty please!”

            “alright alright! But you have to explain everything to him and leave my involvement out of it ok?”  I heard her spazzing yeses on the other end of the line. “and I assume you’re calling me because you want me to pick you up at the airport?”

            “ahehehe, yeah, can you? My plane arrives at around 7pm and can I stay there with you?” I groaned. She didn’t know where I lived and when she finds out SJ only lives just a few floors above me…well, let’s just cover our ears, shall we?

”fine, I’ll see you then.”

We both hung up the phone. I turned towards the girls and I saw both of their mouths hanging wide open.

            “don’t tell me Hanna’s coming for a visit?” Kim Shin asked and I’m sure she was dreading the answer.

Both Kim Shin and Eun Hee were harassed by Hanna to teach her how to speak Korean to be able to talk to Leeteuk-ssi when the time comes.

            “well, sadly yes. She’ll arrive in 3 days.” They both groaned. “more bad news, she’ll be staying here.” They both started acting like they were about to cry.

            “what have we done to deserve this!” Eun Hee moaned.

One thing that made that call lucky for me was that they forgot asking about the trip. I guess I’ll just have to hold telling them about Casey and me tomorrow.

Just Got Pawed

I still haven’t gotten around in telling the girls about the news since we had a pretty busy morning. Casey called last night though, asking about how I was since he noticed I was too tired yesterday. He almost gave me a nagging when I told him I’d be going to work today. I also nagged him at him telling him he does things worse. That shut him up. Hehehe

Things just about slowed down and we sat around to rest.

            “girls, there’s something I kind of need to tell you.” I started. Better now or never right?

            “what is it?” Kim Shin asked taking a sip from her soda.

            “I will just skip the gory details and go straight to the point. Casey and I are---“

            “annyeonghaseyo!” I was cut off for the familiar cheerful voice that greeted us. I turned around and saw Ryeowook oppa and Henry entering the hotel.

            “oh! Oppa, Henry, what are you doing here?” I asked standing up.

            “Chulie hyung asked us to give this to you.” Ryeowook handed me a huge lunch box.

            “he kind of badgered us about this. He kept on blabbering about you coming to work when you’re not too well and such.” Henry said waving his hands.

That Casey really exaggerates a lot. I took a glance at the girls who had confused looks on their faces.

            “we kind of about it and he ended up hitting both us while denying that he—“ Ryeowook oppa started to say but was cut off my Eun Hee waving her arms around.

            “wait a sec. I feel like we’re missing something here. Why would Heechul-ssi ask the both of you to send that to Zee?” Eun Hee’s hands were on her hips now, a clear sign of frustration.

Henry and Ryeowook oppa looked at us in confusion.

            “didn’t Zee tell you?” Henry asked.

            “I was about to when you guys arrived.” I was frustrated as well.

            “tell us what?” Kim Shin now asked standing on my other side.

            “well, Zee and hyung are now together.” Oppa answered like this was nothing, just another news of the day.

Silence filled the lobby; both Kim Shin and Eun Hee kept blinking with unbelieving expressions.

            “by together you mean, you and him are.” Eun Hee put up both of her index fingers and then gestured putting it together.

            “yes, we’re officially going out and please don’t ask anymore questions making it even more embarrassing for me.” I groaned covering my face with both my hands.

            “omo omo!!!” here we go.

            “ahhh!!! I knew it! I knew you two would get together soon. It was only a matter of time.” Eun Hee was hugging and shaking me at the same time and it honestly made a bit dizzy.

Oppa and Henry were laughing as well; I guess the sight of my spazzing best friends probably looked amusing to them.

            “Zee, we’ll have to go ahead, SJM’s comeback is just around the corner so we’ll be recording the songs and prepare.” Ryeowook said waving a hand at us.

            “and Zee, please call hyung that you got that, or else he’ll think I ate the food and kill me later.”

            “fine fine! Good luck to you…send my regards to the others.” I said before both the two figures disappeared.

            “yah! Why didn’t you tell us last night?” Eun Hee slapped my arm.

here it goes a long torturous explanation and story about what went on on the trip.

Heechul’s POV

You know what’s irritating and annoying? You keep thinking about someone that you really don’t want to think. SaeMi keeps popping in my mind for some unfathomable reason. Sure, she’s my girlfriend now and yeah we haven’t seen each other in 2 days, not to mention she keeps our phone conversation short, but still I don’t want to keep thinking about her. Ok fine! I miss her. Not like I would tell her that.

I only have this radio show guesting on my schedule for today since the Youngstreet for tonight is pre recorded. I’ll just drop by her apartment tonight.

            “so Heechul-ssi, how was your recent concert in China? I heard it rained that day.” The DJ asked me.

            “it was great, the rain was a bit of a downer and we worried that a lot of our fans might get sick. But they all supported us and stayed for the whole concert.” I answered casually. These questions were easy…kekeke

            “I am happy to hear that, I also watched a fan video from your concert and there was this mysterious violinist. Who was she?” oh ho! The question everybody all the members meet asks.

            “She’s the Phantom…hahaha that just what we call her. Soo Man seonsaengnim asked her a favor to be the guest on our concert, she agreed but does not her identity revealed.”

            “why is that? Is she someone famous?”

            “no she’s not, she’s just an ordinary but very talented person. She just wants a peaceful life. She’s afraid to be recognized.” I hope I didn’t give too much information away.

            “so is she a trainee at your company then?”

            “if she is, will you look forward to her debut?” I answered him with a question and we both laughed. Better leave that question hanging, shall we?

            “in another topic, there have been a lot of articles popping up about your posts in twitter in the past months about wanting to have a girlfriend. Why did you say that though?” I almost laughed at that. He had no idea how his first questions were connected to this one.

            “well, it has really been a long time since I had a girlfriend and my relationships only lasts for about 3 months and they break up with me. I would definitely love it if I could have someone.” I was already thinking about what I’d answer if he’d ask me if I am dating now.

            “what did your fans say about that though?”

            “some supported me and some didn’t like the idea.” I said laughing. “I’d ask questions like ‘don’t you want your oppa to get married and be happy?’ but they just answer that I am already married to them, which is also true.hahaha I’ve said that before but having someone that you can actually settle down with is something great.”

            “so will you announce it when you already have that someone?” SaeMi’s face suddenly popped in my mind. I never really thought if we’d last long or not, but I did secretly wish that we would.

            “I don’t know about that yet. But when I finally have someone and with luck, we’d get past that critical three months and I am sure about our future together I might announce it.” When I said it images of SaeMi and I growing old together popped in my mind.

Don’t let me think about this now please!

After another hour the show finally ended and I texted SaeMi.

To: Feisty Foreigner

            ~ yah! Eodiisseo?

I walked straight to the parking lot waiting for her reply. She usually leaves the hotel at 9 so hopefully I can fetch her.

I grabbed my phone when her reply came.

From: Feisty Foreigner

            ~just got home. Waeyo?

Tch! She went home early today, probably a slow day.

To: Feisty Foreigner

            ~cook me dinner, I’m on my way.

I started the car and drove out. She didn’t reply, I guess she still got it though. If she didn’t cook dinner I will drag her out to eat. I hope she’ll cook something good.

About 30 mins later I finally got into the parking lot of the building. It’s a good thing it wasn’t traffic.

In my insolence, I just keyed their security code in and made my way inside her apartment. I didn’t see her right away though coz her dog bounded towards me with a wagging tail.

            “Hey, hyung, how have you been?” I scratched him behind the ears. I greeted her friends who were watching TV on the living room.

            “oh, Heechul-ssi, chukahaeyo.” They both said. I knew what they meant and just gave them a short salute.

            “where’s your friend?” I asked looking around.

            “she’s in her room talking to Henry’s sister” Kim Shin answered.

Henry’s sister? Were they close too? Yeesh they are cousins after all why wouldn’t they talk?

I was about to ask what they were talking about when SaeMi came out of the room.

            “oh! Casey-ah, you’re here. Yah, you didn’t tell me what you wanted so you just eat what I cooked for everyone.” She said as we walked towards the dining table.

            “whatever you’re feeding me better be good. I don’t want to get food poisoning.”

            “I think I should be saying that the next time I eat whatever you cook.” She snapped back. We both stuck our tongues at each other. I liked her better when she was asleep.

            “yah! Ppali! I’m hungry.”

            “stop complaining and be thankful I made extra for you.” SaeMi carried out a huge bowl of spaghetti. It wasn’t what I expected but wow, was it mouth watering.

            “is this safe to eat?” I joked a bit before taking a bite. She glared at me and I laughed. She is just adorable. Kekeke

            “by the way, what did you talk with Henry’s sister about?” her face fell a bit at my question. Was there something wrong?

            “she’s arriving tomorrow.” She said dropping her head on the table.

            “she is? Yah! Shouldn’t you be happy? Why do you look like you’ve lost a major tournament or something?” I took a bite at the spaghetti again. It was really good. It was as good as it looks maybe even better.

            “you’ll know when you meet her. On second thought, maybe you shouldn’t.”

            “wae?! Is she a fan of mine or something?” I asked protesting to her idea.

            “if she was your fan it would be better then she can take you off my hands.” She answered snarkily.

            “YAH!” how can my own girlfriend say that?!

            “just kidding. Well, she’s one of those crazy fan girls you guys have and she’s particularly crazy about Teukie oppa.” She said gloomily, now resting her cheek on one hand.

I almost choked at that. I can only imagine Teukie and a spazzing girl so close to him. Hahaha and of course Henry’s face.

            “wahahaha! You should definitely introduce her to JungSu.”

            “you’re definitely loving this aren’t you?” SaeMi asked. She was also trying to hold her laughter that was obvious. She’s also as evil as I am.

            “of course! Will Henry pick her up?” I asked

            “no, she asked me to pick her up. Henry doesn’t even know so don’t tell him. She’s arriving tomorrow night.” She handed me a glass of water. I wonder how she knew I was about to get one.

            “oh! Daebak! I have no schedules tomorrow night. Let’s pick her up together.” There’s nothing like fan service…kekeke

            “bwoh?! Wae?! I don’t want a screaming teenager all the way from the airport to here.”

            “oh c’mon, it’ll be fun. Besides I’d love to be in every moment. You know me I love a good laugh.” I said adding more spaghetti.

            “fine, but if I go deaf, I am blaming you.” She pointed a finger at me with a warning face.

            “arasso, gong ju-nim”

I wonder how tomorrow’s events will turn out? kekeke

Next Day

I was driving with SaeMi to the airport now and it’s almost 7pm. She was fidgety the whole day and kept on texting me to let her fetch Henry’s sister alone but I told her that I would go with her. Even if we’d go deaf I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I am even more curious on how she’ll react when she finds out that SaeMi and I are together now…keke

            “we’re really lucky that Henry is busy with their album or else he would definitely hear about this.” SaeMi said looking at her phone.

            “yah, stop fidgeting. Henry will be fine with this because by the time he finds out her sister will already be there. By the way how old is his sister?” I asked. I don’t even know if she’s older or younger, all I ever heard of Henry was a little sister.

            “she’s 17, and yes she’s 10 years younger than you.” She sniggered.

            “yah! At least I look 21.” I snapped back as I parked the car.

            “whatever. I think you should wait here. You attract too much attention.” She said and got out without even giving me a chance to reply. Yeesh! That woman!!!

I watched from the rearview mirror when a long, black haired girl came waving at SaeMi. She ran and hugged her like she hasn’t seen her in years. Are women always like this? They were now walking towards the car. I was wearing a cap and thick-framed glasses so I hope people wont recognize me.

I got out of the car and opened the compartment.  SaeMi caught my eye and she hurriedly let Henry’s sister inside the car.

            “you should’ve left that to me.” She whispered helping me with the luggage.

            “how many days is she staying anyway? Is she moving here for her to bring so many clothes?” I heaved the last luggage into the compartment.

Seriously, her things look like she brought her whole closet with her!

SaeMi and I got in the car at the same time and I glanced at the teen at the back seat. She and Henry definitely looked alike although her eyes were slightly bigger than Henry and she is tanned. But all in all she was pretty.

            “Zee! You can’t believe how excited I am to be here! To be on the same country as Super Junior! Have you met them? What are they like? I’m sure they’re as dorky as in those shows, right? OMG I can’t wait to meet them!” I glanced at SaeMi and our eyes met.

She had that look that says ‘I told you so’.

            “your Korean is getting better I see.” I stifled a laugh at that the obvious sarcasm. Her Korean was, well, off. She can string sentences together but the accent is really obvious. Unlike my SaeMi here…kekeke

            “of course! I badgered mom and dad in getting me a tutor.” She sounded like a spoiled brat. “anyway who’s he?” he pointed at me.

If she was indeed a fan, she would’ve recognized me immediately. I was kind of hurt a little, I am Kim Heechul and a self-professed fan of Super Junior didn’t recognize me. Huhuhu on the other hand, I felt a bit…glad…? that my disguise worked.

            “er…don’t you recognize him, Hanna?” Sae Mi asked looking at the girl at the back seat.

            “I haven’t seen his face since it’s dark and he wouldn’t look at me, but he kind of reminds me of Kim Heechul-ssi, especially his hands.” I saw her point her finger at my hands on the steering wheel and I involuntarily grasped it.

            “Casey, will you do the honors?” SaeMi suggested just in time as we stopped at a red light. I turned towards the girl and took off my glasses.

            “hey there. Kim Heechul. Nice to meet you, Hanna, right?” I gave her a short hand wave and a wink.

Sure enough I wasn’t mistaken to have come along in picking her up; her expression was priceless! She stared at me with eyes wide eyes and was hanging wide open. It looked as if it was about to fall off.

            “and 3…2…1…” Sae Mi whispered to herself but loud enough for me to hear.

            “O…M…G!!!! I’m talking to Kim Heechul! I’m in the same freaking car with him! And he actually fetched me at the airport! Wait till my friends hear about this! Oh they will so envy me! Heechul-ssi, I’m really a fan! You just don’t know how I love you guys, you are so amazing!!!...” she rambled on and on and on and on.

I kinda now understood why SaeMi doesn’t want me to come along. She was slouching on her seat and covered her ears with her fingers. I grinned and reached out a hand and held hers. She still cringed at her spazzing cousin.

            “…you have no idea how hard it is to get some of your merchandise, like it’s so…” she noticed us holding hands. “why are you two holding hands?”

at her question SaeMi tried to pull her hand from mine but I held on.

            “it’s normal for couples to hold hands, Hanna.” I replied sounding relaxed. SaeMi pinched the bridge of her nose. We were almost at the dorm now.

            “you mean…? You and my cousin? You two are dating!? Oh my…*screech!*” a high pinched scream erupted in the car and both Sae Mi and I flinched. I slammed on the brakes and good thing it was a red light.

            “YAH! Do you want us to be in an accident!?” I raised my voice at Hanna.

            “of course not! I just can’t believe that Zee is going out with you. After what I’ve heard from Alexander back home, he’s been going on and on about how devastated you were when he came here and told you to move on and never bother him anymore etc.” the nerve of that guy spreading lies. I saw SaeMi snap her head towards the back.

            “he said what!? That not what happened.” I grabbed SaeMi’s hand again when I saw her fuming.

            “I guess he was embarrassed that a bunch of my fans attacked and ran after him.” I sniggered. Just wait till I see him again.

            “what are you talking about, Heechul-ssi?” Hanna asked a bit confused.

I explained to her what really happened as we parked the car. She was both laughing and angry at the same time. She said she didn’t really believe what Alexander had been saying and would definitely tell everyone back home the truth. She agreed not to tell anyone about my relationship with Zee though.

            “were home!” Zee said in a raised voice as we entered their apartment. All three of us were carrying one of Hanna’s huge bags.

            “you’re finally here! Thank goodness, the phone’s been ringing nonstop since we got here.” Eun Hee said in a very relieved voice.

Hanna was now greeting the both of them now.

            “Henry called earlier asking if Heechul oppa was with you and I told him you went out with oppa. I purposefully left out where you two went since it would be a surprise for him.” Kim Shin explained. She too was looking relieved. I wonder why Henry would be looking for me.

            “did he tell you why he was looking for me?” I asked. Henry rarely would go looking for me. Normally he would seek out Leeteuk.

            “he didn’t but he did sound panicky. It was also very noisy in the background.” Eun Hee added she was now being harassed by Hanna.

            “I think I should call him.” Sae Mi said grabbing her phone. I looked at her in a slightly questionable expression. She wore the same expression as well. “Henry? Wait I have to tell you something…no me first, yes he’s here at the apartment. Anyway, Hanna is here.” SaeMi suddenly put her phone away from her ear at arms length.

I guess Henry really didn’t much like the idea of his sister being here…kekeke

When SaeMi put the phone back to her ear she handed me her phone after a few seconds.

            “he says Leeteuk oppa wants to talk to you.” SaeMi said with a curious expression. “it’s quite abnormally loud on their end.” She commented.

            “ne, Jungsu-ah.” I said as I answered the phone.

            “chul-ah, you better come here now.” Leeteuk sounded frustrated and a bit worried.

            “why? I’m still at SaeMi’s can’t it wait?”

            “no, get your here asap!” now that right there is his panic voice.

            “what the hell is going on in there!?” I asked loudly as I heard the phone being grabbed and wrestled. I think Leeteuk and someone, maybe the other members, were fighting for the phone.

            “hey bro! the fuuuun has arrived!!!” the person on the other end said.

I froze. That voice sounded all too familiar to me. It can’t be. He can’t be here!

            “VOID?!” I shouted at the phone.

            “who were you expecting? Mary Poppins? Where are you my tranny brother?”

uh oh… Void is here…I looked at SaeMi who now has a seriously confused expression.

This is seriously going to give me a migraine.
