Henry’s POV

Spring is finally here! And what better way to spend it than lounging on my bed. I will not move an inch from here. Not even—

            “Henry!” I flinched at the sound.  Why can’t Heechul hyung call someone else?

I groaned and got out of bed.

            “ne, hyung?” I responded poking my head out of the door.

Hyung was with ZhouMi ge dragging a vacuum cleaner towards the living room. There were also some empty garbage bags by the entrance.

What in the world are these 2 up to?

Heechul hyung straightened up and wiped his forehead with the back of his hand.

            “finally you’re out. now, get the other cleaning supplies in the laundry room and bring out.” hyung commanded and put on long, yellow, rubber gloves.

            “why?” I asked curiously. Hyung raised an eyebrow and looked at me if I was recently hit in the head and lost all sense.

            “it’s time for spring cleaning what else?” hyung replied and I mentally heard a ‘duh’ at the end of that sentence.

I saw ZhouMi ge stifle a laugh.

            “the cleaning lady wont be here for a week and manager hyung said he’d cancel most of our schedules to get us to clean.” ZhouMi ge explained.

            “my room’s good, hyung. I don’t need to clean it.” I said trying to fund my way to sneak out of this laboring task.

            “I doubt it. it’s spring now, chipmunk. Whatever you hoarded before the winter must be taken out now. who knows what you’ve kept in there.”  Hyung threw a feather duster and an empty garbage bag to me.

            “but, hyung--“

            “no buts! Now get your in there and start cleaning or else you’re sleeping in the hallway tonight.” Since when did Heechul hyung bother with cleaning? What’s in it for him?

            “you’re lucky you’ll be cleaning with us.” ZhouMi ge said as he plugged the vacuum cleaner.

            “why?”

            “coz Leeteuk hyung, Siwon and Donghae will be here later to clean their half of the dorm. That means their rooms, the kitchen and bathrooms.”

I blinked. So that’s why hyung is here, it’s no mystery where’s the messiest part of the house is; the kitchen.

            “well, if you put it that way.” I muttered and walked back towards my room.

            “make sure you side of the room will be fit for human habitation or else.” The threat in hyung’s voice made me hurry and start cleaning my room.

He’s really the scariest among all of them. Next would probably be Kangin hyung and that’s coz he might beat me up if I don’t follow him.

As soon as I closed the door I stared at my side of the room. Blankets, some clothes, food, other gadgets and whatnots are all scattered. It’s a miracle that Donghae hyung was able to keep his side of the room pretty decent.

Task number 1, get a hamper and time to do the washing. Task number 2 sort out the food stash, number 3 sort out the gadgets and instruments and 4 well, I need to find the right pair for each sock I find.

About 20 minutes into spring-cleaning I only managed to do task number 1 and I haven’t even finished yet. Why oh why did I leave all my clothes everywhere and not pick em up? Oh yeah coz I’m lazy.

I dragged out a trashcan when I started in task number 2. There’s surprisingly a lot of moldy pastries going around and the smell of rotting something; I didn’t know coz I don’t recognize what it’s supposed to be. Heechul hyung even yelled at me since the smell was so bad.

There were also a couple of unopened boxes of chocopies, which were still good and since I’ve pretty much survived winter with this I think imma give this away. I grabbed my bag and stuffed it in, maybe Zee can have it if she wanted, it would be a waste to just throw it away.

            “Henry! You better be done or you’ll be cleaning the toilets!” Heechul hyung shouted after an hour or so.

            “ne, hyung!” I replied after I tossed the last pair of sock in the laundry basket.

Looking around the room it seemed to look much cleaner and so unlike me. Yeesh! If I had the choice I wouldn’t clean my room for another 2 months.

            “good, now tidy up the dining area with ZhouMi.” Heechul hyung said as he suddenly popped into my room and tossed a rag at me. I caught it at the last second.

            “is the living room done?” I asked walking out.

            “of course! I’m the greatest of course! Even if I hate cleaning.” Hyung bragged. And I just shook my head from behind him.

I saw ZhouMi ge cleaning so I just helped out a bit. There wasn’t anything to clean there anyway, just a couple of extra plates and utensils to file.

So much for spring-cleaning! As soon as the clock struck 2 the door opened and in came the other hyungs. They looked desolate to face the fact that they’d be cleaning their rooms, the kitchen and bathrooms.

            “yah, you all done?” Leeteuk hyung asked as we’re all tired and slouched at the couch.

            “obviously or we wouldn’t be resting.” Heechul hyung stood up and stretched. “you’ll be going to the hotel right? tell your cousin I’ll pick her up later at 8.” Hyung then casually walked towards his room.

Oh man! Why does hyung have to remind me every time that he and my cousin are dating?? It gives me goosebumps!

            “ah! Hyung, do we really have to do this spring-cleaning? It’s tiring.” Donghae hyung sat on the floor and whined.

            “now you know how I feel when you force me to clean up my mess.” I mumbled.

            “well, you’re not exactly cleaning the whole dorm, are you?” Siwon hyung grinned and took off his jacket and rolled up the sleeve of his sweater.

            “whatever, hyung. at least we’re finished. I’m going to see Zee for a bit.” I said standing up. ZhouMi ge looked like he already passed out on the couch.

            “oh good, say hi to Angela when you see her there.” Donghae hyung said happily.

            “who?” I asked curiously. Who in the world is Angela?

            “oh we forgot to tell you.” Leeteuk hyung said in sudden realization. “she’s Kyuhyun’s new, how do I say this…” he pursed his lips and thought deeply.

            “girl?” Siwon hyung grinned and met Donghae hyung’s eyes, who also grinned back as if they knew something I didn’t.

            “Kyuhyun hyung has a new girl? But I thought—“

            “no, it’s not like that!” the leader shook his head and waved his hands. Both Siwon and Donghae hyung laughed.

I thought Kyuhyun hyung still hasn’t gotten over Victoria? What is this about then?

            “not yet…but soon.” Our fishy friend said under his breath but I heard him.

            “it’s a long story but she’s staying at Kyuhyun’s place temporarily. Just long enough as she can get enough money to go back to the Phlippines.

            “she’s from the Philippines? How’d you know anything about her?”

            “yeah and she can speak English well, I guess those tutoring from Zee and the company paid off. And from what Heechul noticed about her she’s kind of not ordinary.” Hyung explained at the other 2 started towards the kitchen to clean.

            “so why did she get over here?” it’s almost impossible to just be lost in Korea when you’re well off in another country. You can just hire a tour guide or something.

            “apparently, she ran away. Anyway, you can ask her if you want. Your cousin had already met her last night so you better run along now.” he said dismissively and walked toward his room to change.

Hard really being the maknae of the group…well one of the maknae’s since they consider Ryeowook and Kyuhyun hyung maknaes too. I guess I’ll just have to ask Zee about this Angela person. How they could trust someone so fast is beyond me.

Just Got Pawed

Zee’s POV

            “so, how do you like the place?” I asked Angela as we got back to the lobby.

I toured her around when she got here and it didn’t take long since the hotel isn’t really big. She did look like she was enjoying herself. I guess a week full of testosterone-packed apartment is finally getting to her.

            “it’s amazing. I’ve never been to any pet hotels before.” She said looking around the hotel.

She met my friends and they both welcomed her. They even wanted to dish some gossip about her living with Kyuhyun and all but I stopped them just before they got so out of control.

            “I’m glad you liked it. I hope you’ll enjoy yourself when you start next week.”

            “if I could I would start now, it’s great being out of that place.” She said making a face that clearly says she’s still not in good terms with you-know-who.

            “I’m guessing you two got awkward after last night?” I grinned. I saw her blush and tried to say something but can’t.

            “how…how’d you know?” she seemed stunned. And I’m..  surprised she’s surprised.

            “Angela, if there’s another thing those boys are good at in doing it’s making things awkward for another member. They may think they’re helping but they’re not.,” I laughed. “then again, I did join in the teasing last night.”

            “well, it’s only a little awkward and I guess we can do something about it.” she shrugged shyly. I ushered her towards the seats and gave her some coffee to drink.

            “just enjoy their company, if you do, I promise you there will be no boring moment. They will definitely keep you and your brain busy.” another round of laughter.

            “if it’s anything like last night minus the teasing part then it’s going to be one hell of a rollercoaster ride.” She smiled amusedly and took a sip of her coffee.

Then I remembered something about what Heechul said about her only having one suitcase with her. If she’s going to stay longer give or take a few months she’ll need something to wear especially with the changing seasons here.

            “hey, Angela, don’t you need some new clothes?” she looked at me surprised.

            “how’d you know?”

            “if you ran away from home I don’t think you’d be bringing a lot with you, do you?”  I winked. She smiled shyly.

            “I do need some new clothes but it’s just that I don’t have enough money to buy some.” she said playing with her empty cup.

            “it’s ok, I’ll take you to one shopping districts here and it’s really cheap. As a welcoming gift I’ll give you 3 outfits as presents, then you can buy the rest when you get you salary. How’s that?” I offered giddily. Her eyes widened

Well, to be perfectly honest I kind of badgered Kyuhyun to help her get some new clothes. He was stubborn about spending a cent on her but I guilt-talked him into it and some well-chosen aegyo I learned from Sungmin oppa. Yeah I know Kyuhyun can’t stand it, well, neither can I but what can I do? Drastic times calls for desperate measures. So in the end he finally gave in and gave me money enough for 3 sets of clothes…hihihi with the condition of not telling Angela it’s from him. Sigh…guys and their pride.

            “you really don’t have to do this, Zee. I can buy for myself when I get my pay.”  She shook her head vigorously at me.

            “tsh! Don’t worry about it. I’m taking you to Myeongdong or Dong Daemun on Friday and there’s nothing you can do about it.” I said with finality and she just opened then closed it.

her expression changed though as if she just remembered something.

            “Friday? Can we do it on Saturday?” she looked nervous.

            “why? Kyuhyun making you do a lot of work?”

            “it’s not that, it’s just—“ she fidgeted in her seat and bit her lip. “now that I think about it I kind of need your help.”

If I weren’t curious I wouldn’t even have bothered.

            “what kind of help? Are you in some kind of trouble?”

            “no, it’s not that. You see kind of met this guy…” she paused. This girl must be a guy magnet for meeting a guy for just being here for a week and to think she’s been stuck in Kyuhyun’s apartment most of the time.

            “you met a guy? where?”

            “the first time I met him was at the airport when I arrived. He kind of helped me from getting lost. He seemed nice but we didn’t talk so much. Then, by some weird miracle, I met him again last night at the grocery and helped me pay for the stuff.” She kind of looked scared when she said the last bit.

Is she expecting me to eat her? Or yell at her? Oh sure it’s weird to have met someone by chance in such a big country but to let a guy pay for your groceries? Nuh uh!

            “so that’s why you got to pay for it. I wondered why Kyuhyun left the money with you, it looked like he never did.” She gave me a guilty smile.“I’m guessing there’s more to your story?” I pressed on.

            “yes, err…he wanted me to meet him tomorrow.”

            “meet him?” it’s kind of dodgy to just meet a guy you just met for a few minutes. What if he’s a whacko?

            “I know what you’re thinking and I’m telling you he’s not. He helped me twice now.” she argued. I think my tone gave it away.

            “so what’s the name of this knight in shining armor of yours?” at my question she bit her lip again and looked down guiltily. “don’t tell me you don’t even know his name?”

is she crazy?!

            “well, he said he’d tell me when we meet and I didn’t give mine either so we’re even.” I really wanted to facepalm myself at that point but I held it in.

            “so where are you meeting him anyway?”

            “FNC Academy at 9 am.” She said reading it off from a piece of paper she got from her bag. “do you have any idea where that is?”

FNC Academy, FNC Academy. Now why does that sound familiar? Isn’t that Hongki’s company? Could the guy she met a trainee at FNC? Or maybe it’s another FNC.

            “I’m not sure where it is but we can find it. and I’m assuming by ‘help’ you mean helping you sneak off from Kyuhyun?” I grinned evilly. She smiled guiltily and nodded. “that’s easy, just tell him I’m taking you shopping and if he doesn’t believe you just give me a call.”

            “ok, I hope this plan works.”

            “trust me it’ll be fine. I might have to borrow Heechul’s car though.” That’ll be tricky but if he knew what we’re up to he might agree.

            “hey Zee!” a suddenly called out from the door which stopped Angela from saying something about what I just said and both of us shifted our attention at the person from the doorway.

A young man who I didn’t expect to see here just came in with his ridiculous side-worn cap; none other than my chubby-cheeked cousin, Henry.

            “hey, Henry, what’s up?”

            “just dropping by. We cleaned most of the dorm this morning and I just want to get out of there.” He really looked tired. He took off his backpack and sat down in one of the vacant couch, that’s when he noticed Angela.

            “oh my bad, Angela this is my cousin Henry, one of the members of Super Junior’s Chinese subgroup. Henry, this is Angela, Kyuhyun’s errr…” I paused thinking of the right word.

            “his new mouth to feed?” Henry sniggered. Angela looked insulted.“I don’t mean anything bad, I just mean that you’re now living with hyung as long as you’ve earned enough money to go back home.” he corrected himself hurriedly noticing Angela’s expression.

            “I’m assuming they’ve already told you?” I asked. I noticed Angela still looked offended.

            “yeah, Teukie hyungjust told me a while ago.”  He glanced at Angela and noticing her expression he opened his bag and took a box of what looked like chocopies. “here, have this. I really am sorry if I offended you. Take this as my peace offereing.”

He smiled and his eyes vanished in a instant. It was that innocent and kiddie smile of his that made him looked like the part of “maknae”. I just rolled my eyes at him.

            “oh, thank you.” Angela accepted his offering shyly.

            “trust me, he tends to say something without realizing it’s offensive already.” Henry gave me a dark look. I stuck my tongue out of him. Angela laughed.

            “enough about me! How about you, Angela? Liking Seoul so far?” he leaned forward and smiled.

            “I haven’t really seen much of it yet but I hope I will soon.” Angela replied.

            “want me to give you a tour?” Henry offered in a near flirty voice.

            “hold it right there, Romeo.” I stopped Henry and pushed his head away. “she’s not for you.” I said in Korean. Henry looked confused at first but in a second understood what I said.

            “what did you say?” Angela asked curiously shifting her body towards me.

            “nothing, just telling him not to flirt with you.” Angela blushed scarlet.

            “stop being so serious, Zee you’ll scare her! And I’m not flirting just being friendly. It’s not everyday that I get to meet new people.” He said waving a hand at me. He was also blushing and I raised an eyebrow at him.

Not meeting people everyday? He’s kidding me right?

            “oh you know what I mean!” Henry waved his hands at me and Angela burst our laughing.

I threw a couch pillow to Henry and it hit him straight in the face. He looked so stunned that Angela and I laughed again. An afternoon of laughter seemed like a great way to spend a slow day at work.

8 pm

Heechul’s POV

            “hey, want to skip dinner and go somewhere else?” I suggested at the woman sitting at the passenger seat. She looked at me with a confused expression.

            “where do you want to go then?”

            “I’m feeling kind of bored lately, so why not to an amusement park? Whacha say?” I said excitedly.

Doing the same old things gets me bored even if I don’t have time to even rest for a little. I want to do something that I haven’t done in a long time; doing something fun.

            “aren’t you worried on being spotted?” she asked but she sounded like she loved the idea.

            “tsh! I’m wearing a scarf, glasses and a cap it’s foolproof! Besides it’s dark anyway, they wouldn’t pay any attention. Jang Geun Seuk and I do this all the time when we’re out.” I winked and she grimaced.

I know what she’s thinking two famous, crazy and weird people walking around and passing through people and not get noticed? Kekeke of course some would give us the occasional suspicious glances but as soon as we noticed we’d be gone before they could try getting a closer look.

            “if something happens like the incident in Singapore, I’m going to kill you.” She threatened but I found it cute so I just laughed.

            “you can try. How’s the day with Angela anyway?” I asked as we got passed traffic.

            “it was ok, which reminds me.” She shifted on her seat and turned towards me. “isn’t FNC Academy owned by Hongki’s company?”

I glanced at her. Where did that question came form?

            “yeah, it’s where the trainees train and where the groups practice. Why?”

she thought for a while and her confused expression never left her face.

            “it’s just that Angela said she met someone at the airport and met him again last night at the grocery store.” She started but paused and started thinking again.

            “and?” I pressed on.

            “she said that the guy wants to meet her again on Friday at FNC Academy.”

I stopped at the red light and I stared at her. Why would Angela know someone from FNC? Maybe a trainee? This is getting interesting. Far more interesting that the dramas currently airing if you ask me.

            “really? Who did she say it was?” I asked and drove again as the light turned green.

            “she didn’t get his name. she said he’d only tell her on Friday.”

            “Tch! I didn’t know that kind of scheme still worked.” I scoffed.

            “I thought so too, but I guess it got to Angela. Anyway, aren’t you curious who it might be?” she asked. of course I am!!!

            “kind of. It’s either one of the company’s trainees or even one of the members of the groups, but the downside it that it’s just someone who want to meet her outside but really isn’t part of the company.” I said looking at a sign saying we were about 500 meters to our destination.

            “I guess I’ll find out on Friday. She asked me to take her there.” There was a slight grin that formed on her face and it got me excited as well. I know what it meant. Trolling Kyuhyun.

I found myself grinning as well. I was about to ask something when I was cut off by Zee’s ringing phone.

She opened her bag and took it out. she raised an eyebrow at the caller.

            “who is it?” I asked turning into the parking area of the Lotte World.

            “it’s your evil dongsaeng.” She said and pressed her phone to answer. She listened for a second and then shouted Angela’s name happily.

            “I thought Kyuhyun called?” I asked fixing my hair on the rearview mirror before I put on my cap. Zee just ignored me.

            “oh hey Kyu! Why did you guys call?” I heard her ask in a less enthusiastic voice in english. I snorted and put on the lens-less glasses. “uh huh…Of course I can! Well, at least once in a while. Got a problem with that?”

            “put it on loudspeaker.” I whispered. She pressed the loudspeaker button on her phone and placed the gadget between us.

            “fine I believe it now.”  Kyuhyun’s voice reverberated around the car from the Zee’s phone and it made me curious what he asked.

            “so can I go now?” Zee asked after realizing we had already arrived.           

            “wait! Before I forget, there’s something I want to ask you.” Zee and I looked at each other at Kyuhyun’s statement.

            “jeez! He really can’t let this go!” no wonder they were talking English, Angela’s with Kyuhyun.

            “this better be good.”

            “how do you feel about Heechul hyung killing me?”  Zee and I looked at each other confused.

What did this idiot do now? I crossed my arms waiting to know what it was.

            “what did you do this time, Kyuhyun, that would make him want to kill you?” Zee sighed.

            “nothing. Just a thought.” Nothing eh? We’ll see.

And might I add what a weird thought he’s having. Wait! I’m also like that! So nevermind.

            “well, I wouldn’t want Heechul to kill my bestfriend…” she looked at me and grinned. “I’ll just find someone else to do it.”

            “ZEE!!!” Kyuhyun’s angry voice and Angela’s laugh rang out.

 I fought the urge to just burst out laughing at that moment. I covered my mouth tightly so that my voice won’t let them know I was actually listening.

            “Bye!” she hung up with Kyuhyun yelling angrily on the other end.

            “let’s go?” I said grabbing my scarf and opened the car door.

Zee got out of her side as I finished wrapping my scarf. It was still a chilly night so no one would suspect someone wearing a scarf.

            “where do you want to go?” Zee asked after we got our tickets.

I thought as we walked inside. A haunted house wouldn’t scare her much I think, fast rides?

            “how about we try on the fast rides?” I suggested.

            “sure. Good thing as well, we can eat after the fast rides.” She laughed and we hurriedly walked towards the roller coaster.

I have a feeling I’d be shouting all night and I’d better not lose my voice for this.

Zee’s POV

With us running around the park, it felt more like we’re highschool sweethearts spending their 100^th day. But it’s all fun and I kind of like it. It felt like I have a normal boyfriend rather than a celebrity.

We ate a few hot dogs after we rode all fast rides; we can’t eat then end up barfing it all up now, can we? There weren’t much people too so it was pretty easy for us to get on the rides without having to wait for very long.

            “so where to next?” I asked and Heechul looked like he was tired already.

            “can’t we just sit somewhere? We’ve been walking around for 2 hours already.

            “don’t act like you weren’t enjoying yourself coz you obviously were.” I stuck my tongue out at him.

            “I didn’t say I wasn’t, I’m just saying I’m tired.” He grumbled. And a huge ride caught my eyes.

            “fine, let’s just ride that while you rest.” I said pointing at the huge ferris wheel ahead of us.

            “fine, but I’d better not have to wait in line.” I rolled my eyes and dragged him towards the ride.

Lucky for him a lot of patrons started getting off the ride since it’s getting late and it’s 30 minutes before the park’s closing time. As soon as our compartment was closed and the ride started, Heechul slouched and yawned. He closed his eyes and leaned on my shoulder as if to sleep

I just let him doze off since from what Henry said they’ve been cleaning all morning and after that he had to go to his schedules.

As soon as we got to the highest peak I can almost see the entire Seoul lights. It was pretty yes but what saddened me about the view was that I could not see a single star in the skies. I just sighed.

            “what are you breathing heavily about?” Heechul asked sitting up sounding irritated.

            “there’s no stars.” I pointed at the dark sky, as the ride paused probably to take some passengers.

            “so? You got the great space big star right next to you. What else are you looking for?” he said proudly and I wanted to hit him at that.

            “you know what I mean. It just reminds me of home when I stare at the stars. My dad and I used to go star gazing a lot.” I smiled at the thought.

            “you can never see the stars in the city. Probably in the mountains or in the province.” He said and I nodded. One of these days I will drag Henry and watch the stars. I know he miss it as much as I do.

We were silent for a moment just staring out in the city view.

            “what would you do if our relationship is finally revealed?” Heechul asked out of the blue.

I stared at him. Was he joking?

            “why’d you ask?”

he shrugged.

            “just a thought. I mean I’ve never had a relationship which passed more that 3 months and I think that’s why my past relationships didn’t make my adoring public notice.” He grinned and put an arm around me.

            “your adoring public?” I said skeptically. He laughed.

            “never mind that. Back to the topic, how’d you feel about it?”

            “I don’t know really. I’d probably get either tons of hate mail or just the normal support. But either way I’d still get attention which I don’t pretty much fancy.”

            “true. But I know it’s only a matter of time until some ninja ELF finds out and spread the info. Are you ready for that?” that made me think for a bit.

Then again what’s there to think about? I have a celebrity for a boyfriend, even if the public will find out I’m sure he’d help me get on living a normal life as much as I can.

            “yes, I already thought of that when I said yes to you. Even if I hate all the attention I have to it up since it seems like attention and you are a package deal.” I said jokingly to lighten up the mood. It worked, he laughed.

            “and I will try to divert their attention from you as much as I can.” He said and hugged me.

            “I know you will.” I wrapped my arms around his waist as he kissed my forehead. We were getting into the mushy mood again and it made the hair on my arms stand on end.

We broke apart when we felt the ride move again.

            “you should consider yourself lucky.” He said fixing his scarf.

            “why?” I asked curiously.

            “you just broke the longest relationship record with me. One can never dream of anything better than that.” He puffed his chest out arrogantly and I leaned my head on my fist.

            “you just had to ruin the moment.” I said bitterly.

            “what?” he sounded as if he really did nothing wrong. I just shook my head and gesture for him to step out as we finally reached the bottom.

This celebration may not be much but it was definitely memorable…

…even if he did ruin the mood in the end. But Heechul will be Heechul…

XIN NIAN KUAI LE!!! happy lunar new year to everyone! it's officially the year of the dragon! my year!hihihi i first thought Kyu is also a dragon like myself but i found out the lunar new year in 88 was in feb 17..tsk! if only he was born 14 days later..:))

sorry for the delayed update i got lazy..hihihi ive finished until page 6 or so on my word a few days ago then left it..hihi i guess that's why the flow will seem probably weird and fast...another thing im almost at the of my story!yey! it's either around 60 or less than 60 chaps and i hop i can end this before march ends so i can finish my other story and start a new one...i already have plots for a yesung and siwon fics my next biases..hihi hope you all support this till the end.
