Fragile Heart
"Jung Kook-ah.."
Sohee softly called out Jung Kook's name. The two were in Sohee's apartment, sitting on the couch, after Jung Kook had helped her from getting bullied. Jung Kook smiled and turned to look at Sohee. Her eyes looked so warm, so loving. He wondered what she was thinking.
Sohee scooted closer towards Jung Kook. She lay her head on his shoulders. Jung Kook laid his head on top of Sohee's. Sohee sighed in content.
"Jung Kook-ah... I want to tell you something.."
Sohee smiled and looked up at Jung Kook. He urged for her to go on.
"Jung Kook-ah, I really like you.. Thank you for always helping me.. I love you.."
Sohee lifted her head up from Jung Kook's shoulder and stared deeply into his eyes. Jung Kook stared right back as Sohee leaned in. She cupped his cheeks as they both closed their eyes. Sohee kissed Jung Kook's lips softly and they smiled into the passionate, gentle kiss. Sohee laid back against the couch as Jung Kook crawled on top of her. The two broke the nice kiss and stared deeply into each other's eyes, both filled with such warmth and love. Sohee spoke up,
"Sarang-"
*BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPP*
Jung Kook shot out of bed like a bullet. He groaned in frustration. God dammit! That was all a dream?! Ugghhhhhhhh. Jung Kook laid back down on his bed and groaned more as he pulled the blanket over his face. I hate the creator of alarm clocks. Aish... Jung Kook was beyond pissed. He was having such a nice dream, and then BAM! He was awoken by a stupid alarm clock. Oh how he wished to kill the creator of the device so badly at the moment. His perfect dream was crushed.
Sohee, on the otherhand, was still peacefully sleeping in her bed..
Jung Kook slammed Sohee against the wall and looked her deeply in the eyes. Even though his action was harsh, his eyes were warm. But Sohee was scared anyway.
"J-Jung Kook wh-what's--"
Jung Kook smashed his lips on top of Sohee's. Sohee's eyes grew wide and just stayed in her position for a while, completely shocked. She didn't know how to react. She was too scared to kiss back, but was enjoying the moment too much to push Jung Kook away. Finally, after what seemed like minutes and minutes, Jung Kook pulled away.
"Do you know how long I've been waiting to kiss you, Kang Sohee?"
Sohee shook her head. She didn't know.
"I've been waiting since I first saw you in the hallway, did you know that?
Sohee shook her head again.
"Of course you didn't. You never noticed my feelings. I'm always so nice to you, yet you never give me anything back in return. Why is that? Do you not like me? Am I not good enough for Kang Sohee?"
Jung Kook's expression turned into one of loving to one of hurt. Sohee grew guilty. She hadn't known. She hated herself for being so dense. Truthfully, she had been liking Jung Kook ever since he saved her from Subin and her friends. But she chose not to think that way.
When Sohee didn't say anything, Jung Kook pushed himself off of her and turned to walk away, sad. But Sohee grabbed his wrist, which made him turn around. Sohee cupped his cheeks and smashed her lips over his. Jung Kook kissed back immediately. What once was a warm, passionate kiss, turned into a heated one full of lust really quickly. Jung Kook pushed Sohee back against the wall again as Sohee wrapped her legs around his waist. Jung Kook smirked into the kiss and Sohee felt it. She smirked back as Jung Kook started to roam around her body, slightly lifting up her shirt in the process. In return, Sohee lifted up his shirt slightly as well to feel his nicely toned abs, still smirking, but now, of satisfaction. The two didn't break the kiss until Jung Kook pulled away to take off his shirt and Sohee did the sa-
"AHHHH!"
Sohee screamed as she woke up. She was sweating and panting heavily. Did-did I really just.. Just have that-that dream...?! Sohee groaned and face-palmed herself. Oh my god, no. I didn't... Oh god, did I really?! Sohee pulled the blanket over her face as she laid back down onto her bed.
Who knew Kang Sohee would think so naughtily?

Sadly, Sohee had to go to school, without Hakyeon. She was still mad at Jung Kook, so she had no one with her. She still felt flustered over her dream, though. And although all that, Sohee felt a little bad for being rude to him yesterday. She didn't mean to be so rude towards Jung Kook. She was just annoyed that he jumped to conclusions. Sohee couldn't help but feel mad at anyone who thought wrongly of Hakyeon, so it was her will to stand up for him. But still, Sohee felt bad for being mean towards Jung Kook, so she decided to apologize when she saw him... That is, if she could even face him later on. Teehee
Sohee walked into the school and grabbed her books inside her locker. She sighed heavily and walked towards her class, not even minding the rude insults anymore. It became so common, she pushed it all away from her thoughts.
Truthfully, Sohee was so used to all this bad talk, she really didn't care anymore. It became more of a burden now, a very annoying burden.
Yet, Sohee still showed no signs of emotions. But oh well, right? We can't change everyone. Sohee sighed as she sat in her seat at the back of the classroom. When the teacher came in, class started and Sohee listened carefully.
By now, it was lunch. Sohee made sure to take extra long at her locker, so that she would be one of the last people in the cafeteria. That way, Jung Kook would be in the cafeteria before her so she could apologize to him.
The second bell had rung, and now, Sohee was one of the last people in the hallway. Sohee shut her locker and proceeded to walk towards the cafeteria. Suddenly, someone grabbed her shoulder harshly. Sohee hissed, but was forced to turn around by the stranger.
"Oh hey, Sohee. Can you pick that up for me?"
The girl had dropped a note on the ground. Not wanting to be rude, Sohee bent down to pick it up. She could read the note clearly though. Large magazine letters were placed.
"I hate you -S"
Sohee breathed out a tiny whisper. She looked up and locked eyes with Subin. I should've known.. Who else would do this to me? Ugh, Subin's a freak. She's obsessed with Bangtan.. Weirdo. I would say she's equivalent to a saesang fan, but that would be an insult to saesang's everywhere. Sohee scoffed and handed Subin back the note. She continued to walk away.
"Yah! Kang Sohee, I'm not done with you!"
Subin slightly ran towards Sohee and harshly yanked her wrist so Sohee would turn around.
"Didn't I tell you to stay away from Jung Kook? Are you stupid? Deaf?"
Sohee stood still, showing no emotion. Maybe if I don't speak, she'll get annoyed and walk away, Sohee thought.
"And then N of VIXX comes to our school, and talks to you?! Cha Hakyeon of VIXX conversing with Kang Sohee, the world's biggest nerd? HAH! How ridiculous. What did you do, huh? Did you beg, bribe, become a e, anything! To get Cha Hakyeon to be nice to you as an act? Pffbbttt."
Subin scoffed, clearly annoyed. Sohee stayed the same, biting her lip. I'm not , I didn't bribe, and I didn't beg. Hakyeon is my childhood best friend, you idiot! Sohee thought in her mind. She was trying really hard not to let the tears fall out. Why can't Hakyeon be with me right now? I need him now. When Sohee didn't speak up, Subin scoffed again.
"You , where's your courage from last time, huh? Why can't you speak up? Too scared?"
Subin snickered. Sohee was trying her very best to stay calm. She didn't want to fight back. It would be useless, since Subin was so stubborn.
"YAH!"
Subin was really annoyed at Sohee since she didn't talk. So Subin lifted her hand and slapped her. Sohee stumbled backwards at the hard impact directed towards her left cheek. There was a big, red mark imprinted on her cheek that stung. Sohee finally gave in and started to cry. You idiot! Why can't you understand ANYTHING?! Sohee shouted in her mind while Subin laughed evilly. This scence was just like a drama.
Suddenly, a voice boomed throughout the hallways.
"SUBIN!"
Subin turned around and Sohee looked behind her, trying to see the owner of the voice. It was a man. He walked closer to the two girls and Sohee saw who it was. My knight in shining armour. Sohee smiled mentally at the sight of Jung Kook.
Subin plastered on a fake smile when she saw Jung Kook, forgeting Sohee's presence.
"Oppa! What are you doing here?"
Subin batted her clearly fake eye lashes and tried to act so sickenly innocent in front of Jung Kook. Jung Kook, on the otherhand, did not look happy. He was fuming. You could almost see the steam coming out from the sides of his head.
"Subin, I told you to stay away from Sohee; to not hurt her anymore. Can't you see? I don't like you!"
"B-but oppa! Sohee's ugly and-and she's--"
"Perfect. Now get out, Subin. Go to lunch. I don't want to see you hurting Sohee anymore. And to make sure, I'll be informing the principal."
Jung Kook strode over to Sohee's side and carrassed her red, left cheek soothingly.
"OPPA!"
"LEAVE!"
Jung Kook shouted and glared at Subin. He had never yelled at a lady before, so Subin was taken aback, shocked at the loudness of his voice. Finally, she gave in and stormed away.
"Sohee-ah, I'm sorry I didn't come sooner."
"J-Jung Kook. I'm-I'm s-sorry about ye-yesterday."
Sohee cried as she snuggled into his chest, still hurting from the pain coming from her cheek and still feeling guilty from the past day's events.
"I-I didn't mean to-to yell at you. I'm-I'm sorry."
Sohee cried deeply into Jung Kook's chest as her her hair. She felt completely bad for everything. She was always so cold towards him. She yelled at him, she always made him feel bad, even after everything he did for her. Sohee treated him so badly in her eyes, yet he was always there for her. Every moment when she broke, Jung Kook came to fix her, even if she didn't want it. How could she push away such a perfect man?
Maybe it's time to trust. Maybe I should give Jung Kook a chance. I should forget the past and move on.
Sohee tried to stop her tears as she looked up at Jung Kook. His eyes were filled with such warmth, Sohee couldn't help but start to tear up again.
"I'm so-sorry, Ju-Jung Kook. P-Please for-forgive me."
Sohee whispered as she buried her face in the crook of his neck. Jung Kook slightly chuckled as he wiped her tears away with his thumb.
"Silly girl, I was never mad at you. Don't be sorry."
Sohee cried more. How can someone be so nice?
"Ho-how c-can you for-forgive me so-so easily? I'm always so m-mean to you."
"Because you're Kang Sohee. Even if I know nothing, I can tell you're like this for a reason; a bad past you've once had. I just want you to know that I won't leave you; that I'll forever be at your side even if no one else is. Because I love Kang Sohee."
