"Hey Myungsoo! Hurry before the school bell rings!" Woohyun screamed. Myungsoo slowly got out of his new and silver shiny car and shrugged.

"Who cares!" Myungsoo yelled in annoyance, holding his backpack strap on his shoulder, patiently making his way towards the school.

On his way, girls gawked at him in admiration and men glared in jealously.

Naeun and her friend Chorong stared from a distance while walking to class.

"Isn’t he so amazing?" Chorong asked with a dreamy look on her face. Naeun chuckled and shrugged. "Guys like that are only good on the outside unnie." Naeun said before opening the classroom and walking in.

She was about to close the door when she heard footsteps approaching the room and a voice yelling.

"Wait up newbie! Hold the door!" Woohyun yelled loudly while Myungsoo followed slowly. Naeun narrowed her eyes at Woohyun and walked towards her seat when they were inside.

"I don’t understand why you even care about school." Myungsoo said in an irritated tone.

"Because I don’t have money for my education, therefore I care. You, on the other hand, are a total different story."

Myungsoo walked towards the window and looked down at Naeun with wide eyes.

"This is my seat." He said to her with his lips puckered. She looked up at him and pursed her lips together, ignoring him as she took her notebook out of her bag.

Myungsoo turned to Woohyun and whispered.

"Is this newbie deaf?" He asked while Woohyun slightly snickered.

Chorong watched from across the room and scoffed, about to stand up when the teacher entered the room.

"Kim Myungsoo, causing trouble again?" Mrs. Park said as Myungsoo looked at her immediately. Woohyun sat behind Naeun quickly and listened. "No, I normally sit here-"

"If you haven’t skipped class so much, you would know that we’ve already switched seats." Mrs. Park said in annoyance but a bit of sarcasm in her voice.

"No, Mrs. Park. When did I skip class?" He asked through a huge sigh and laugh.

"You’re not allowed to sit near the window because all you do is look outside. Now sit next to Naeun, away from the window." She said pointing to the empty seat next to Naeun. Myungsoo sighed and nodded.

"Fine, who’s Naeun?" He asked. Naeun looked up at him with her fists tight and glaring at him.

They attended a local high school near the city that wasn’t meant for the rich or the poor either. It had an equal amount of any class in the school and that was what ranked the school as the most diverse, class-wise, in Seoul.

Son Naeun is an average student, not in the popular group, or in the quiet group. On the other hand, Kim Myungsoo is a student loved by women and some men, but mostly hated by men because they can’t be any close to what Myungsoo is.

Naeun and Chorong sat outside having lunch as Naeun glared over at Myungsoo who was surrounded by a bunch of girls as always.

"Did you hear what he said earlier in class?" Naeun asked in annoyance with a scoff. "Of course! I have class with you!" Chorong yelled loudly with wide eyes. Naeun nodded and smirked.

"Who is Naeun?" Naeun mocked Myungsoo's words earlier. "Is she blind?" She mocked again in a low tone. She scoffed and grabbed her phone when she saw it vibrating.

"Yes?" She answered. "Hey! I was supposed to make it to school, but my hair dresser messed my hair up! I can’t come like this! Tell Mrs. Park please!" Bomi yelled on the other end. Naeun laughed as Chorong chuckled.

"Yah, you’re talking so loud I can hear you even though you’re not on speaker!" Naeun yelled while eating her rice. "Shut up!" Bomi yelled with a worried tone.

"Just please cover for me….again you guys. Bye." She said and quickly hung up.

Naeun set her phone down and turned to look at Myungsoo again since they were sitting across from them.

"He bothers you that much?" Chorong asked with a chuckle. "We’ve been in the same class throughout high school every single year and they still consider me a newbie. I wonder if that rascal will get ill with anemia soon."
