They were in the middle of discussion when Juliette’s sister called. She was asking her to come to the house because she’s going to say something.

“I’ll go with you.” Tina said. Juliette answered “No.”

“But I still want to. Can’t I go? Am I not your friend anymore?” She asked with puppy eyes. Juliette shook her head and gave in.

“And I wonder where you butler went that he was suddenly not around. I’m not used on seeing you without anyone else in your back, and your car. Where’s your car? This is definitely the weirdest thing I’ve encountered so far.” She said as she drove to the direction of Jieun and Minho’s house.

Juliette went to see her sister happily. “Jieun-unnie. You suddenly called me. Why? Are you pregnant already?” She chuckled but stopped halfway when she saw Jieun’s serious expression.

“Are you really this heard headed, Hwang Jooyoung?” Her unnie’s voice was louder than usual. She’s not used on hearing her soft sister talk like this. “We are just trying to take care of you. Why are you not following us?”

“Unnie… I don’t understand you.” She said. Juliette looked beside her and saw Tina just looking down at her phone. She’s glad this friend can’t understand a thing. Tina doesn’t know Korean after all.

“Soojin unnie called me. You locked the dorm with only the two of you and even lied to Onew oppa. You told him both of you were out of the house when you really stayed inside the whole day.” She uttered with an angry expression. “Have you been doing things we didn’t know?” She crossed her arms in front of her and waited for Juliette to answer.

The only thing she could do was to look at the ground and silently send her sister the confirmation that her speculations were right.

“My God, Jooyoung. Are you really this hard to control?” She asked. “I was just trying to keep you from such consequences. Why are you still doing this?”

“I’m sorry, unnie.” She said.

“Pack your things and you’re going to live with us from now on.” She said and turned their backs on them. “I need you to be home by 5 in the afternoon.” Jieun added and went upstairs.

Juliette went out of the house with heavy footsteps. Tina on her side was silently watching.

“You also lied to me all alone.” She said when they got out of the house. “You told me you were living with your sister, but I think you’re living with someone else. A boyfriend, maybe.” Juliette looked at her in surprise. “Before you could get to ask me how did I even understand the conversation… I installed this translation program with voice recognition app.” She uttered and showed her phone to Julie. “I understood everything from the moment we arrived.”

“I’m sorry,” was all she could say.

“So tell me… who was this guy?”

“Lee Taemin.”

Her friend’s eyes grew bigger as she heard the most familiar name. “You don’t mean…”

“Yes. It’s Taemin from SHINee.” She confirmed.

“Oh my Gosh. How did you get him?? And… you’re living with him?? He was the one you locked yourself inside the dorm with?” She asked continuously and she nodded.

“Didn’t I tell you I’ll do everything for oppa?” She said.

“Yes.” Tina answered. “Though I didn’t know it could be this much.” Juliette looked at her, wondering what she meant. “I didn’t know you could sacrifice a lot to the point that you lost your identity. If I’m going to ask you now, do you still know yourself? You disregard everything even yourself. You’re life suddenly revolved just around Lee Taemin, and I think it makes you nothing but a nobody.” She said honestly right in front of Juliette’s face.

“You don’t know anything.” She said.

“Yes. I don’t know anything about you from the time you step back here, but I know very well the girl who used to be my best friend in California. I know someone who always stands for what she believes is right. I know someone who can spend the night partying but still has the time studying over her lessons. I know someone who never wants to get short of sleep. I know someone who shops like a crazy millionaire. I know Hwang Jooyoung, the rich Korean Kid from California. Yes, she’s not a perfect person, but at least she’s somebody who was created by her own identity. She’s not just someone whose life revolves around one person.”

“Stop talking to me like that.” She uttered while starting to get mad.

“Am I not allowed to do so?” Tina’s face is starting to show. “You lied to me about Taemin? You never lied to me, Jooyoung. You never. You changed into a completely different person. You became just another planet in the Solar System. You revolved around the sun, and can’t go anywhere else at all. You know what. You look like a handicapped person to me right now. The real Juliette was gone. I don’t know who I’m facing right now.”

“Are you blaming Taemin oppa for what’s happening to me?”

“How dare you even think of your oppa’s sake when I’m talking about you all along?! You still care about him? Tsk. He can rot in hell, you know. I will never like him if he’s the reason why my friend is as miserable as now.” She angrily snapped back at Juliette. “If that guy couldn’t get the best out of you then he could freely go to hell. He doesn’t deserve any of your love. He’s a selfish person. What? Let me guess. You already have with him several times. What happened last night? You had some rough with him, right? That was why you missed the exam! You were busy rocking out the bed with him that you even forgot to study and sleep!!” The next thing she heard was Juliette’s palm crashing on her face.

“How dare you!!!” She slapped her hard and left running, leaving Tina chuckling bitterly.
