“To make it clear to you… these are the things I want you to do.” Taemin said and placed on the table a paper and a pen. “Write them down so you won’t forget them.” He said.

Juliette looked at him, unsure if she will follow or not. Taemin looked back and said, “What?”

“Nothing.” She said and took the paper and the pen. “I’ll write whatever you say, so please start.”

Rules set for Hwang Jooyoung

1. Never go out without Oppa’s permission.
2. No over using of cards, cash, checks, etc.
3. Should clean the house keenly for at least twice a week.
4. Dinner will be prepared by Jooyoung while lunch will Oppa’s job.

“How about breakfast, oppa?” She asked after listing down the 4^th number.

“The one who wakes up first will be the one in charge.” He said to which she nodded.

1. No clubbing for Hwang Jooyoung.

“That’s enough.” Taemin uttered after listing down 5 special rules for Juliette.

“Oppa…” She called after rereading all the rules Taemin set for her. “Can I post only one rule for you? Just one.”

Taemin looked a bit hesitant, “Let me hear it then.”

“I just want to know what oppa does… all the time.”

Taemin answered her with a complete confused, “Eh???”

“I can be considered a sasaeng for wanting to follow you every single time of your life, but I promise I won’t interrupt. School is starting soon. I may not be seeing you all the time. Can you please tell me where you are? What are you doing? Who are you with? At least 3 times a day? That’s all, oppa. I just want to know everything that you do. It makes me happy.” She confessed. Taemin stared at her for a while, “What can you say?”

“If I see another bowl of egg soup tomorrow the moment I wake up, my answer to your proposed rule will be yes.” He said and stood up to enter his room.

“What time will you wake up then?” She asked.

“Around 7 am.”

“It will be served fresh and hot!” She giggled and gave Tae two thumbs up.

Taemin rubbed his eyes as he went out of his room. It’s 15 minutes to 7 am. He’s up to wash his face and eat breakfast afterwards.

“I realized I prepared earlier, but thank you for waking up earlier as well.” Juliette said as she placed the bowl on the table, “Good morning, oppa. I’ve finished preparing your breakfast.” She smiled.

Taemin looked at the table and was quickly lured into it. He went straight to the table and started eating. There was fried egg, fried rice, toasted bread, all cooked in proper way.

He was eating enthusiastically when Taemin noticed the clean sink and the proper arrangement of the plates and kitchen utensils on the side.

He didn’t show her his amusement as he slowly turned and peeped at the living area. The throw pillows were properly placed on the couch. The table is clean. The carpet is… he’ll see later. The curtains of the windows were nicely arranged.

“Tell me honestly… did someone go here on purpose to clean to dorm?” She shook her head innocently. “Don’t tell me you do all these alone?” She nodded. “Not lying?”

“Of course not, oppa. I woke up at 4 am and started cleaning. It was really hard but I tried because I know it’s my responsibility.” She said.

“Pretty much a fast learner, huh?” He smirked and continued eating. Juliette sat beside him not to eat but to ask for something.

“Oppa… I’ll go out later to find some stuff that I need.” She said.

“What stuff?” Taemin said asking for specific necessities.

“Uhh… Stuff girls should have.” She answered simply. “For hygiene and for skin care.” She uttered.

“What will you use? Card? Money? Check?” Taemin interrogated. Juliette looked at him weirdly. Why does he have to ask these things?

“Ah… It depends? If money is not enough then I’ll use either card or check.” She answered. Taemin’s eyes grew bigger as he stared at her.

“You’re just going to buy such things and you’re telling me you can possibly run out of money to even use card? What are you going to buy? The whole store again?” He asked unbelievably. “No. No. Give me all your cards… No. everything. Give them to me.”

“Huh?” She asked in a confused tone. “Why would I..”

“Just give them to me.” He repeated himself. She stood up, still confused, and went to her room to get everything she has. She went back and handed to Tae everything.

He took his wallet from his pocket and handed them some cash in return. “You’ll ask for money if you need it and I’ll give them to you. You’ll pay me by the end of the month.” He said.

“But…” She counted the money Taemin gave. “This isn’t enough.” She complained.

“That’s enough. Learn to spend them wisely.” He stood up and stretched for a bit. “By the way, I’ll be out later for practice. Probably around 10 am. If you go out, be sure to lock the door.” He said and entered his room.
