Entry 6

I hate how he's so complicated. Just like a puzzle.

It was a Monday morning. The school was buzzing with anxiety. Why? Because it was the first day of the Final exams. Students in their freshman year until their senior year were all worried. 

You were walking along the hallway with your History books in one arm. Students left and right were all running around claiming it was "the end of the world". 

*Psh, who told you not to study?* You snorted, feeling good because you had been studying all weekend. 

A big, warm hand gripped onto your small hand. You looked up to see Sehun smiling down at you lovingly. You looked down at your hand in his. *Oh yeah, we're together now.* The thought made you warm inside. You smiled back at him and squeezed his hand. As the two of you walked inside the class, all eyes fell on you and Sehun. 

"They're really together?" 

"Aw, I was just about to ask SunHee out. She's hot!" 

Sehun menacingly glared at the boy who dared say that. When he noticed Sehun's stare, he shrunk back. 

The two of you sat at the back, as usual and waited for the teacher to come in and start the exam. You were playing with your pencil when a piece of paper slipped into your free hand. You looked at Sehun as he gave you a sweet smile. You unfolded paper and read it with a smile stretching on your lips. 

My girlfriend~ Good luck on the exam! 
I'll buy you waffles after this, okay? ^^ 
I Love You, sunshine! <3 ~(^.^)~ 

You chuckled at the note and drew a big heart at the back of the paper. You crumpled it and chucked it at Sehun's head. You stiffled your laughter as he looked at you with the most innocent eyes ever. But what really made you laugh was how the ball of paper stuck to his head because of his slightly still wet hair gel. 

"What is it?" Sehun pouted as you doubled over while laughing. You were laughing so hard that no sound came out from your mouth.

You sighed and shifted closer to him. Your fingers grazed over the top of his hair before taking out the crumpled paper. You slightly giggled and straightened the paper out. You slid the paper to him before shifting back to your original position. 

Sehun looked at the paper, a smile playing on his lips. He glanced at you, only to see you laying out your stationery. He softly smiled. *How did I get so lucky?* 

Soon, the teacher came in and gave out the exam papers. 

You peeked a glance at Sehun. He noticed you looking at him and turned his head. He smiled, making his eyes turn into crescent shapes. He gave you a thumbs up. 

"Good luck," You mouthed and winked. Sehun smiled widely and leaned back in his chair, finally gotten the motivation he needed. 

"All right, class. The papers are all collected, you are dismissed." The teacher gave a curt nod and left with the papers. All of you instantly got out of your seats and started packing. You gathered your stationery and stood up. You looked over at Sehun who was bombarded with questions by his friends. *Maybe I'll just wait for him by my locker.* You thought and left the class first.

You were rearranging your books in your locker when you felt hands snake around your waist. You recognized the familiar warmth and smiled. Sehun leaned his head on your shoulder and nuzzled your hair. "Boo." 

You chuckled and shut your locker. Your turned your head slightly, "Oh, I'm so scared." 

Sehun lifted you up and spun you around. You shrieked, "OH MY GOD! Sehun, put me down now!" 

Sehun put you back on the ground and kissed your cheek, "Still scared?"

"More than ever, you brat." You lightly punched his shoulder. 

Sehun whimpered and massaged his shoulder, pouting, "Damn, SunHee, you hit like a man!" 

You snickered and held his shoulders, "Aw, is little Sehunnie hurt?" 

"WHAT? LITTLE?" Sehun immediately dropped his hand and gawked at you, "I'm not little!"

"Sure, you're not." You lightly bumped hips with him and smirked. You checked the time on your wrist, "Hm, it's still afternoon. Thinking of going somewhere?" 

"I told you I'll buy you waffles. How about it?" Sehun clasped your hands with his. You lightly chuckled and nodded, "Arasso. Just let me go to the washroom first."

You went out of the washroom, lightly wiping your damp hands on your skirt. You saw a water fountain and decided to take a sip. You bent down and pressed the button, the water slightly wetting your lips. 

You straightened up and wiped your lips with the hem of your sleeve. *Better get back to Sehun.* You turned around and gasped. 

Luhan was standing right infront of you with an unreadable expression. He was smirking but his eyes were sad. 

"So you and Sehun, huh?" Luhan said. You crossed your arms and nodded. He chuckled darkly, "Should've known he was going to get you one way or another."

"What do you mean?" You furrowed your eyebrows. 

But Luhan continued, "Sehun was always the lucky one. Sure, I was clever and hot but Sehun.. He had the personality that every girl wishes their boyfriends to have."

"Seriously, Luhan, what on Earth are you talking-" 

"You could've waited for me." Luhan looked straight into your eyes, "Sehun's a nice guy but you know I was here all along." 

"Stop, Luhan." You held your hand out and took a step back. You glared at him, "Wait for you? I'm the bad guy now? Just because I couldn't wait for you when I shouldn't in the first place? You're not making sense!" 

"I couldn't sleep." Luhan admitted and hung his head low, "I thought about all the rumors everyone was talking about. You and Sehun. It was everywhere. At first I thought I was just as surprised as everyone but then I realized that I was just genuinely... you know, upset about it." 

"Upset?" You couldn't believe your ears. You shook your head, "No, you're not making me feel bad again. You always do! It's not my fault but you always make it seem like it is! Don't ruin my happiness, Luhan." 

"Happiness?" Luhan scoffed. He came closer, "I remember perfectly that I was your happiness, SunHee. What happened?" 

"Was, Luhan! It was the past! What happened?" You narrowed your eyes at him, "My life got better. That's what happened." 

Luhan looked down. He sighed and looked at you with sad eyes. "I wasn't happy, SunHee. None of the girls I was with made me happy. Except for you." 

"Well, what about Aeri? Isn't she your girlfriend now?" You gave him an inquiring look. 

"I'm thinking of breaking up with her." Luhan sighed. "She's been really distant with me, lately. She said she has friends that are here from the States." 

"So, just because she's been distant with you, you come to me?" You scoffed and gave him a look of disbelief. "Am I always a second option to you, Luhan? Do I mean that low to you? Tell me, if you're like that, why should I have waited for you when I was always the second option?" 

Luhan looked at you, speechless. He wanted to prove you wrong but nothing came out. *She's right. I'm a horrible person. So this is how she felt all along. This was how she felt when I didn't even give her a chance to talk when she's saying that Aeri wasn't the one. I'm so stupid.* 

"So, there you go, Luhan. Is that what you wanted to know? Well, I just said it all. So have some respect and let me be happy while I still have him." You sneered, repeating every word he said the other day. You felt like a heavy weight had just been lifted off of your chest. *This is how it feels. To have no burdens or regrets.* 

You walked away, seething in anger. *Luhan's never going to bring me down again. Ever.* 

Luhan looked at you walking away, his heart ripping to pieces. He didn't even know why. He was in love with Aeri, not you. But why didn't he feel the familiar warmth in heart when he was Aeri? Why was it that when he was with you, his heart practically glowed? He didn't even know why he said he thought of breaking up with Aeri. 

Luhan sighed. *There she goes, probably hating me for the rest of eternity.*

You and Sehun were walking to a nearby waffle house, swinging hands. Sehun had been talking about how difficult the history exam was. You were just listening to him with a blank expression. Your mind was somewhere else. Most specifically, on what happened a while ago. As hard as you tried to occupy yourself with Sehun, Luhan's disappointed face would still come into your mind one way or another. 

The two of you sat down, looking through the varieties of waffles. 

"May I help you?" a girl, who looked like she was in her mid-teens, shyly approached your table. Her eye was definitely on Sehun. You caught it and grew uncomfortable. 

"Hm, we'll have the Strawberry Ice Cream waffle." Sehun smiled at the waitress. Her face grew red and she nodded. 

When the waitress left, you shot Sehun a look, "You could've let me ordered myself. Her eyes were all over you!" 

Sehun mischieviously smiled, "Is my little sunshine jealous?" 

"Little- oh, I see where you're going with this." You playfully narrowed your eyes at him. You felt hands holding yours under the table. You looked up, noticing Sehun acting a little too nonchalant. You smirked and pinched his finger. 

"Ow!" Sehun winced and pouted. He looked at you and harrumphed. "I do one romantic thing to you and you just have to make me hurt after it somehow."

You shrugged and gave him an eyesmile, "That's why you love me." Sehun shook his head with a chuckle. 

The same waitress came back with a strawberry ice cream waffle. She shyly curled a lock of hair behind her ear and looked at Sehun, "Anything else you would like to order?" 

Before Sehun could say anything, you interupted, "No, actually. You've done enough. Thank you." 

The waitress looked at you, as if finally noticing you were there. She saw your piercing stare and shrunk back. She nodded and went to attend to other customers. 

Sehun stiffled his laughter, "You're impossible, sunshine." 

You smirked, "She should have gotten the hint already." 

The two of you dug in, occasionally feeding each other a spoonful of ice cream. You swiped your finger against the cool ice cream and wiped it on Sehun's nose. You burst out in a fit of giggles. Sehun looked at you with wide eyes, then looked at the tip of his nose. His crossed eyes made your face red from laughing. 

Sehun smirked and placed some ice cream on your left cheek. You stopped laughing, feeling the cool liquid slide down your cheek. You narrowed your eyes at him. 

Sehun smiled sweetly. He took a napkin and dabbed it onto your cheek. You, too, took a napkin and wiped it on his nose. You stared at Sehun, feeling warm inside. *Who needs Luhan? When the perfect guy who would love me more than anything in the world is right infront of me.*

Looks like Luhan is pining for SunHee but is sometimes in denial about it! Also, SunHee tries her best to forget about Luhan but something in her heart just keeps tugging her to him when she's actually with Sehun now. Poor, Sehun, always being oblivious of these things. Luhan thinks of breaking up with Aeri but at the same time, he's too upset to let her go. This shows that Luhan hasn't exactly been the good guy, nor is he the bad guy. Oh and jealous SunHee! This shows how much she loves Sehun!
