Mi Nyu was sobbing hard that someone knocked at the door. She gingerly wiped her tears and got up, thinking that it was Aunt Mi Ja. It could not be Oppa, or Hyungnim, or Jeremy, or Jolie, because the band was in Taiwan, and Jolie is a dog.

She opened the door, and saw Shin Woo standing.

"Gwaenchanha?" he asked in concern.

Mi Nyu shook her head and walked towards the bed, leaving her door open. Shin Woo got in and closed the door. He looked around to see that she preferred  her room dim or dark. If Tae Kyung were here, he would be stumbling with all the garbage and stuff which made the room look like it was a venue for an obstacle race.

He followed her to bed, and she lay on bed like a fetus, her back facing him.

"I heard someone sobbing, so I guess it might  be you," he whispered.

She did not respond. He rubbed her arm, then noticed the pair of heels on her bed. She could not be wearing them in her sleep. He took out the heels and placed it inside the box, and out of her bed.

"I took them out," he said. "You might get injured."

"Please ruffle my hair," she murmured.

Shin Woo scooted and lay beside her.

"Do you want me to sleep here?" he asked.

"As long as Oppa and the rest are not yet here, then please," she begged. "Jeoneun neomu oerowoyo (I'm so lonely)... Geuge aju eoryeowoyo (It's so difficult)..."

"What is difficult...?"  he asked as he ruffled her hair.

The act made her calm because she missed it a lot.

"Many things," she said. "I don't want to bother Aunt Mi Ja because she has her own problems too."

Shin Woo smiled because Mi Nyu was so thoughtful.

"Tae Kyung is lucky to have a sweet girlfriend like you," he whispered. 

Mi Nyu's body shook hard. She did not want him to tell her that.

"Maybe, if I had not forgotten, I could have fallen in love with you," was his straightforward comment.

Mi Nyu cried again.

"But you did love me," she thought. "But I never loved you... and now, I feel that I love you..."

And she realized.

"I...I did not pity him. I regret that he forgot about me, and now, I...I am being punished because... I have fallen in love with Shin Woo-hyung..."

Shin Woo brought himself closer to her and gave her a tight hug, his biceps caressing her dainty princess arms with the love she wished he would give her.

"Love only me, Shin Woo-hyung..." she whispered.

"Mworagu (What did you say)?" he casually asked, unable to hear it.

She turned around and looked at him.

"Given this situation, that you forgot everything, will you fall in love with me?" she asked him.

She saw the uncertainty in his eyes.

"Molla... because I still have a lot to know about myself and about you," he said. "But you are Tae Kyung's girlfriend..."

"What if I am not?" she asked.

"What are you trying to say? Are you being unfaithful to him?" he asked.

"Anio... my question is just hypothetical," she said.

It was strange to her that she can deduce any hypothetical scenario, given that her mind was built to be a simpleton.

"If you are not Tae Kyung's girlfriend, then, I will get to know you, and maybe fall in love with you," he said in a gentle whisper.

Mi Nyu cried again and shut her eyes.

"Why are you crying? Ulji ma (Don't cry)," he crooned.

Mi Nyu pushed herself and rested her face on his toned chest, letting him taste the bitterness of her tears.

"I am so bothered with a lot of things," she said.

"Like what?" he asked.

But she shook her head.

"Shin Woo-hyung, please let me cry... please comfort me... I do not want to say what bothers me, because there are a lot," she said.

"Is it something about me?" he asked in sadness. "Coz everytime I am around, you always cry."

"Joesonghamnida..." she whispered.

Shin Woo wrapped her around him again, crushing her little frame against his masculine body. Mi Nyu brought her fist to his chest and wiped her nose. She could not tell him all about their past because she did not want him to hate her.

But not telling him might confuse him again.

"I do not know what bothers you, but let me be here for you," he said.

He rested his chin on her hair. She was such a nice person to be hugged, and he suddenly felt his chest pumping hard.

"What is this?" he asked himself. "Why do I find myself being protective of this crying girl? Andwae, she is my friend... Just a friend. She is Tae Kyung's girlfriend."

Mi Nyu was rubbing her eyes, that Shin Woo had to admonish her doing it often.

"Your eyes might be erased," he joked her a bit.

Mi Nyu gave out a small laugh. Then, Shin Woo leaned closer and kissed her on her cheek. After the kiss, they looked at each other.

"My baby girl is so poor," he crooned her. "Stop now, my baby girl, arasseo?"

"Y...ye, Shin Woo-hyung," she said.

"Hyung will be here every night to sleep with you," he said.

Her heart ached again. He was just doing it because he is her hyung. Then, Shin Woo declared he would sing her a lullaby which Jeremy often sang to Jolie, or when Jeremy felt he would like to annoy Mi Nam in the gym.

"Ye... I like that, Shin Woo-hyung," she said.

Shin Woo softened his hug and patted her on her arm, like Eomma tapping the baby's gently to facilitate sleep. Mi Nyu knew that he had a husky voice, but his bedroom husky whisper was a consolation to her dark and lonely night. He began singing the lullaby three times in a row before he fell under the spell of his own voice.

Mi Nyu did not fall asleep easily, so she wrapped the two of them with her blanket. She did not want her hyung to get the chills, not after getting the cough.

"Saranghaeyo, Shin Woo-hyung," she whispered before giving him a lingering kiss on his lower lip.
