SUNNY'S POV

Sitting inside the very bright room somewhat makes me sad. I know that bright places should bring joy and happiness but this is definitely not like one of them..

“Soongyu, you’ve been up the while night, you better get some sleep” Luhan patted my shoulder, I guess he just woke up

“What about Kris?”

“He’ll be fine, the doctor said so”

I looked at the sleeping figure on the hospital bed and remembered what happened.

Yesterday, while reviewing, Xiumin came inside our room and said in a weary tone that Kris collapsed, that time I found Luhan sprawled on the floor, maybe like me he also got shocked that he fell on the chair.

Everyone of us went to the Seoul Doctors’ Hospital and we learned that Kris collapsed due to exhaustion and fatigue.

I can’t get my mind straight at that moment , I’m so worried. Luhan volunteered himself to stay with Kris for the night and I stayed with him..

“Why did he do that?” I asked, getting back to present

“Do what?”

“We all know that he’s welcome to train with his teammates now, but why does he still choose to have training all by himself?”

“Maybe because he wants to show everyone a good game on his official comeback especially you because you are the one who lead him back to it.”

“So it’s my fault again..”

“What?”

“I think I really should have just stayed in the US so as not to cause any more problems to you guys”

I was shocked with the following event, it was the first time that Lulu raised his voice on me, “Will you shut up?”

“Luhan”

“A lot of us care for you! Like how you care for us, why do you think would we go all the way to the US just to take you back here? If you were just a burden to us, then we would never do that!  So stop about those stupid talks of going back in the US. Stop being so selfish! You know what? I envy him *points at Kris* because he can make you think of doing those stupid things whereas you can’t even listen to me! You can’t even appreciate the small things that the rest of us do. Soongyu, we love you, OK? We’re all friends and brothers right? And take this, I love you!”

I bit my upper lip when Luhan left, slamming the door behind him.. “Bestfriend.. I’m sorry. But I care and love you too guys.. that is why I don’t want to burden you all.. I’m sorry..”

“Derp, did you hear about it already?”

“About what, unicorn?”

“The panda posted on his weibo that we’ll be having a new teacher”

“Guys! Guys! The new teacher is here!!!”

Lay and Chanyeol looked at each other, then to Tao who just burst from thei classroom’s door, shouting.

Just then, Vice Principal JYP walked in and looked around the class,

“Ya, wushu Panda, new teacher? Where?” Chanyeol asked Tao

“I thought it will be a ‘she’ you know, someone smexy, not someone like a monkey.. Oh. It rhymed! Smexy.. Monkey..kk” Lay laughed at his own joke

*Ehem* -JYP

“Yeah. I’d rather have teacher Yunho Jung, even if I’m a namja, I still find him sessi..” Baekhyun added

The room became a hall of complaints and sad remarks and everyone refused to look at JYP

“Everyone, settle down, please..”

“Vice principal, where did Teacher Jung go?” Chen asked

“Mr. Jung went to Japan for an endorsement”

“Eh?!”

“Yeah, so while he’s gone.. I…”

“Can’t we just have his time as our vacant period in memory of him?”

“D.O., he’s not yet dead!! Pwahaha” the others giggled

*ehem* “I’m a busy person so I can’t be the substitute teacher”

*phew* Everyone sighed in relief as JYP turned to write on the board

“J-ja-jang… G-g-geun… S-seu..seuk Jang Geun Seuk?!”

“Ne. Jang sonsaengnim, please come in..”

*O* So handsome… don’t he look like a rockstar? Or an actor.. kkkk everybody started to whisper as  their new teacher entered

“I’ll leave you with your students Jang sonsaengnim. Guys, please treat your teacher well..”

After JYP left, Luhan got inside, earning a reproachful look from his new teacher for being late..

“Hey man, how is he?” Suho asked referring to Kris

“Good, I think” he bluntly answered, totally ignoring the man he just passed by in front

“I didn’t know that students from a high class high school never know the word, respect. Hey you.” Jang said, pointing at Luhan

“Me? What about me?” he annoyingly asled, still stressed from the commotion at the hospital

“Your attitude. You didn’t even greet me.”

From his annoyed face, Luhan brightened up and smiled.. “A-anyeonghasaeyo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You want to see the everlasting cuteness right? Here you go…” he said then smiled, then scoffed and whispered to Suho, “Who is this guy?”

“New sonsaengnim”

“AAhh.. Ayoo waddduuupppp ssaem!!”

“Jang Sonsaengnim. Mediocre people really never learn how to respect, no wonder”

“Mediocre? Haaa… By the way my name is LuHan, world’s famous cutie guy, SM High’s best soccer player and oh by the way, a lot of high class clubs hire me for my dancing and singing skills. PLUS did I mention that I AM A STUDENT IN SM HIGH? Only mediocre people can be like that right? How about upper classmen like you? What do you do? Kk.. maybe eat? Sleep? Seat? Pretend like you’re too important? Hahahaha”

The rst of the class laughed with Luhan, while Jang slammed his fist on the table, “Luha, right?”

“Yeah. That’s me, you’re highness.. Kkkk”

“I’ll remember you. I will always keep my eyes on you. To all of you. You mindless kids..”

“Luhan…”

Is that SOongyu or am I just hallucinating?

“Luhan.. bestfriend..”

Ghost whisperer? O.O

“Are you asleep or you just don’t want to talk to me?”

I turned my head and found him sitting on his bed, eyes locked on me, “What?”

“Are you mad?”

“I don’t know. Should I be?”

“Mianhae.”

“For?”

“For being selfish”

I stood up from my bed and opened my arms, “Come”

“Huh?”

“Come here” I thought that he’ll refuse, but my best friend wrapped his hands on my body, closing all the distance,

“Mianhae bestfriend. I love you. I love you guys. That is why I don’t want to be a burden”

“Ssshhh.. gwaenchana. Gwaenchana. Don’t do it again ne? always remember that we are a family. We are brothers here…”

If only you could be my wife though.. awh.. ain’t that be nice? Kkk

Soongyu and I sat on the balcony, each enjoying a hot cup of chocolate

“So, how is kris?”

“He’s fine already but Dr. Kim advised him to stay in the hospital for another night. Hey, I’ve heard that we have a new teacher?”

“Just a substitute one”

“How is he?”

“Molla.. He’s quiet arrogant, for me”

“Don’t you like him?”

“He ssems like he hates me”

“Chinja?”

“Or the whole class. He called us mediocre type of people”

“Isn’t that so mean?”

“Kinda. Soongyu?”

“Yeah?”

“Why didn’t you stay with Kris tonight?”

“Because of someone”

“Nugu?”

“Because of you”

*coughs* “W-what? Wae?wae?wae?”

“Because I care for you too and I can’t bear it if you got mad at me”

*coughs* “Chinja?”

“Yeah.. I love you too, just so you know”

WHAT?!!!!! Omomomomomo.. *coughs2498237536times* I don’t know what to do.. eotteokae?! “OUCH!!!” spilled the chocolate on my pants.. aish.. ouch..

“Aigoo. Luhan! Gwaenchana? Aish you clumsy thing! “ he scolded me and tried to wipe the chocolate stains off my pants with his bare hands

Ugh.. “Stop”

“Wae?”

“I can manage, I’ll go shower”
