(A/N: my sincerest apology if I didn't post about Sunny and Kris right away. My mind is blank and was just filled with SMTown thoughts a while ago so I can't think. LOL. and sorry if the last chapter before this is kinda crappy(?) DX I hope you'll still anticipate the upcoming chapters ^^)

SUNNY'S POV

I ran away after my conversation with Luhan, well at least we talked and confirmed that he is fine..

 

I knocked on Kris's room but nobody answers, I found out that the door knob was not locked. Maybe he left it like that since I am coming over.. I turned it open and went in, trying to keep myself composed..

 

"Kris?" No one was inside the room so  I looked at the balcony, thinkig that he will be there but no one was. Then I decided to get back to the main room when I saw him standing a few feet away from me. He was looking at me and I am looking at him. His hair is dripping wet, fresh from shower, he is wearing a gray vneck fitted shirt with matching khaki shorts, he smiled and advanced on me then grabbed me for a passionate kiss... only that the latter is only a figment of my imagination.. orz did you got excited with it? Well me too, but yeah, I am Sunny the dreamer.

 

"Are you planning to stand there all night?" he said with a cold but kinda friendly tone which pulled me away from my kissing fantasies

 

"No. I was looking for you since I can't find you when I get in"

 

"Now you found me. I left the door open in case you will come over while I am taking a shower. I was waiting for you. I told you right after dinner right? Don't you know the importance of time?"

 

"I uh, went to talk to Luhan first, I asked him not to lock the door"

 

"Why? And by the way, you can get inside here now and kindly close the balcony door"

 

I did what he said and get in and sat on the couch where I slept the other night, "I don't want to bother you anymore and sleep on this couch again"

 

"You are already bothering me."

 

"Huh?"

 

"You bothered me to do this project. I could have just be watching or reading at this time but here I am with you" he said while sitting in front of his study table

 

"Well, you better tell Mr. Kim wih that, it is not even my choice" I snapped back at him

 

"I'm kidding" he said and chuckled a bit, "I think we should start doing the work now" then he motioned for me to sit across him and I did.

 

"Are you seriously kidding?"

 

"Yes, why?"

 

"Because you are not funny" I said while reading one of the textbooks

 

I heard him clear his throat and pretended to be busy with his laptop, oh yeah I forgot my laptop..

 

"I'llbe back"

 

"Where are you going?"

 

"I'll go get my laptop"

 

I was about to open the door when I felt his hand on my wrist, "stay"he said

 

"b..but" I can't hear my own voice so well for my heartbeat is much louder than it, I felt the heat in my body rushed upward directly to my face and I didn't dare to look at him directly

 

"We don't need two, mine is enough" he said and led me back to my seat

I sat down tryingto regain my strength and then we worked in silence for a while..

 

We divided the work in such a way that he will research through the internet while I am scanning and writing down notes from the book.

 

We used 'The Miracle of Life' as the title of our project..

 

"Are you hungry?" he asked, breaking the silence

 

"A bit" I admit

 

"Wait for me, I'll buy some snacks"

 

"Can I come with you?"

 

He looked like he was debating on whether or not he will take me with him but in the end he still said yes.

 

The whether was great and the night air is just enough, not too cold and not too hot. I skipped and hop like a child while we were on our way to the convenience store

 

“Ayyooo wasssuuuppp Krisss” I said fooling around

 

“Ayooo wasssuuuppp” He said, slightly hesitant at first, haha cute

 

“Do you want to go to the night market? There are a lot of Korean treats there right? I mean I just miss Korean street foods but if you don't want then it's fine with me”

 

“Street food? Sure. Haven't tasted any in a while too” he said, smiling a little keeping his hands in his front pocket.

 

We walked to where the Night food stalls are located and I am not kidding, they are jampacked with people of all ages all savouring the ambiance of the place..

 

 

“Ahjumma, Annyeong” I greeted the old lady and nudged Kris to do the same

 

“Anyeonghasaeyo” he said

 

“Oh, Annyeong. Such cute young guys. IS he your younger brother?” she asked him while looking at me

 

Actually I am his girlfriend. LOL. Joke

 

“Ne. My hyung and I are taking a night walk and decided to grab some snacks, ne hyung?” I answered giggling then looked at Kris

 

“Uh. Yeah.” He said

 

“Well then you can have anything you want here, and because you two are cute loving brothers I'll give you a huge discount”

 

'Whoa. Chinja?! Hyung, did you heard that?!”

 

“Kamsahamnida ahjumma” he said and bowed then we both looked at all the foods..

 

Wow.. Diet is not in my vocabulary right now.. chicken skewers, tteokbokki, kkimbap, kimchi pancakes, ugly hotdogs, etc. etc.

 

Kris was hesitant to get some at first so I decided to make the first move and after 1 minute my plate was filled with variety of foods. I looked at him and smiled again encouraging him to do the same and well, it worked.

 

“So what is your favorite among these?” I asked while eating my 3^rd ugly hotdog

 

“tteokbokki” he said

 

“Chinja? You like spicy foods?”

 

“Sort of”

 

“Waaah. I love them too, how about we have tteokbokki eating contest? The first one to shed a tear will pay all the food?”

 

“Are you kidding me?” he said, slightly smirking

 

“Of course not! I am challenging you” I said

 

“Then I am taking the challenge!” he said

 

We ordered 2 huge bowls of the spiciest tteokbokki and began eating it in silence.. Gaaah, my mouth is already burning at the first bite but no, I can't lose this game so I ate, ate and ate.

 

“Giving up?” he asked with all smiles

 

I don't know and I don't understand why I feel suddenly overwhelmed with all these things, Kris is not this type of guy when I first met him but he suddenly became kind tonight, is it because he really see me as his younger brother? Is he venting his longing to his younger brother to me? It's too late when I felt tears spilling on my eyes while thinking about that when all of a sudden,

 

“TIMES UP!! YOU LOST!” he said, chuckling hard for real for the first time

 

“Ay! Aniya, I'm just sweating!” I said

 

“But your eyes are red.. look” he said then wiped the tears on my eyes with his thumb. I froze for a moment and so is he when he realized what he did. * coughs * “So you lost. Now pay everything. I'll wait for you over there”

 

But I don't have my wallet with me!!!

 

“Hyung!! I left my wallet!” I called loudly out to him to catch the kind ahjumma's attention

 

“Aigo, you are the big brother you should not let your dongsaeng pay” she said reprimanding him. Haha. So in the end we bid the ahjumma goodbye with him paying everything

 

“You play dirty” he said

 

“No. I just really don't have my wallet with me hyung” I keep on calling him hyung, if only I can call him oppa.

 

“Then why did you do the challenge?”

 

“Because it looks fun doing it with you who is an emotionless freak”

 

“All because of that?”

 

“Yeah. Hey hyung.”

 

“Yes?”

 

“Wow, you don't even mind me calling you hyung?”

 

“Not at all. You look like a lost kindergarten anyway. Now what?”

 

“Tsh. I am the cutest kindergarten if that is the case. kk. Can we go to the convenience store now?”

 

“What?! Aren't you yet satisfied with all you ate?!”

 

“BUT I AM THIRSTY!!! Jebal. Bbuing bbuing” lucky you Kris Wu, the Aegyo Queen used her charms

 

So here we are now at 7-11. hehe

 

“What do you want?” he asked while scanning each drinks

 

“I want SunKris” I said absentmindedly

 

“huh?”

 

“I want Sunkist”

 

 

“Anything more?”

 

“Whoa. Are you gonna buy me chocolates if I'll ask you too?”

 

“I guess chocolates are fine, they are brain boosters” Now when did you even became trivial like Seobaby

 

“But I'll just take the drink for now, maybe next time”

 

“OK”

 

I waited for him outside while he payed our orders then we walked back to the dorm. The air began to be chilly. We were 2 blocks away from our dorm when the rain began to pour. OH NO!!! I am wearing white shirt and I am beginning to get soaked, it will become totally transparent anytime soon and my cover will be blown, when Kris handed me his jacket. “Here, take this”

 

I didn't debate with him if I will take it or not, instead I took it quickly and covered myself “Thanks”

 

He held my hand and we both ran as fast as we can and we finally reached our dorm. He didn't let go of my hand even when we reached his room.

 

“You can take a shower here if you want, I'll just lend you my clothes” he said, tossing to me a pair jogging pants and sweatshirt

 

“Uh. Thanks. What about you?”

 

“I'll wait 'till you get done”

 

“But you might catch a cold too”

 

“Go on. Hyungs should let their dongsaengs shower first right?”

 

“Right”

KRIS POV

 

I wrapped myself with a towel while waiting for her to get finished, I found myself looking at the bathroom door.

 

I am a man, so it's typical for me to find it awkward when a lady is taking a bath on your own bathroom.

 

It took her 20 minutes before she finished, I admit, she really deserve to be in an idol group. She has a good body despite the fact that my clothes are so loose for her, she still managed to look naturally y with it. Even though she cut her hair short, if you will look at her more, she radiates a beauty of a real woman.

 

“Kris? Kris? Hyung? Aren't you going to shower yet?” her face were only inches away from mine, I just realized that she is calling me when I felt her poking my shoulder

 

“Yeah. You can continue with what we have left a while ago. You can use the laptop”

 

I soaked myself in a warm bubble bath and thoughts of the past began to envelop my mind.

 

I never have imagined that I will see her again. I never have imagined that she will come to see me. That she will come to pay me back. I don't need it anyway. I saved her bec I want to. I remembered back then when I still play basketball. The International game in the US is the best for me. I get to show the whole world what I got, plus Kai is playing with me. That kid who has the dreams of following his deceased father's wish though he really wants to dance.

 

FLASHBACK

 

While playing, I always see this beautiful petite lady who always sit on the same spot. She always cheer for Korea when I heard one of the guys in the opposing team during our fourth game say, “Wow, Sunny came to cheer for her country. Do you think the other SNSD are with her?”. So she is a Korean, that's why and what is SNSD? I think I heard that before already then Kai tapped my shoulder and said, “We are lucky to have a fan like Sunny Lee. She is from the best girl group in the whole world, produced by the top Entertainment Company in Korea, I wish to be like her too” he said

 

“You mean to belong in one of the top girl groups?” I asked

 

“Yah! Hyung, I mean to belong in that Entertainment Company too. But for now I want to win this game”

 

So the beautiful girl is from SNSD, I heard Baekhyun talking about them before, yeah, I think that is why they sound familiar.

 

The second to the last game finished and I decided to buy some food before going back to our hotel. I spotted Sunny Lee again in the restaurant, she didn't see me but I saw her. We both took the same exit doors, I decided to follow her a little, well I am not a stalker I just feel like observing her from a distance. Luckily, she walks to the same way where my hotel was located when a group of guys started to circle around her and provoked her. My instinct and adrenaline took over my body at that time and I rushed to save her, never did I know that it'll also be the end of my dreams. Do I regret it? Yes. And No.

 

End OF flashback

 

I finished taking a bath after an hour. I didn't even thought that my reminiscing would take that much time. I found her sleeping soundlessly in front of my laptop.

 

I stared at her for a while before fixing the things which are spread on my study table as to what I can see, our report is done already. I don't know if I should wake her up or not so I just carried her to my bed and pulled the covers to keep her warm while I slept on the couch facing her as if I am beside her.
