‘What are you looking at darling?’ A pair of hands wrapped around Reii’s waist as the person spoke. He rested his chin on Reii’s head before looking at what Reii was doing.

Reii loosen the pair of hands immediately and turned to look at Doojoon as soon as she heard his voice. ‘You’re here?’ Reii couldn’t help but smile seeing the person in front of her. Doojoon smiled back and nodded before replying. ‘We’re given 3 days off’ Doojoon said, pulling Reii to him and placed a light peck on her lip. ‘I miss you!’ Doojoon whisper as he pulled Reii to his embrace.

‘I miss you too’ Reii replied. It had been 2 months since they last saw each other. ‘Back to the question. What were you looking at?’ Doojoon asked with Reii still in his hands.

‘These’ Reii turn around and pointed to the photo album on the table. Doojoon looked over and it was now his turn to smile as the memories rushed back to him.

--------Flashback------

It was Doojoon’s first day in Cube high and he was all excited and nervous about it. He straightened his uniform before he walked into the gate of Cube High.

*I hope I’ll get along well here.* Doojoon said hopefully and walked in.

Since it was his first day around school, Doojoon didn’t know the way to his classroom. He looked around to find his classroom.

‘Bump!’ Doojoon was too busy looking around to see that there is a person walking in his way and they collided, falling onto the ground. Doojoon quickly stood up and bowed while apologizing.

‘Im sorry.’ He said while handing his hand out to help the person in front of him up.

*Badump! Badump!* Doojoon felt his heart race as the girl in front of him raise her head up. She shook her head and got up without the help offered by Doojoon. She bowed and walked off without saying anything, leaving Doojoon still in place with his hand out.

‘What are you doing here student? Class is about to start soon’ A teacher said. It was then Doojoon snapped out of his thoughts. He bowed at the teacher and went to find his class.

During break time, Doojoon went for lunch with his new friends. Doojoon suddenly stopped when he saw the girl he had bumped into earlier.

‘Whats wrong?’ His friend asked.

‘Nothing, Im just wondering if that girl over there is okay. Im bumped into her earlier this morning. I apologized to her but she didn’t reply. I wonder if she’s okay.’ Doojoon replied looking at Reii whose inside the classroom reading her book.

‘Oh you mean Reii? She’s like that. Don’t mind her, she’s always quiet and cold. She doesn’t talk much. Now come on lets go, Im hungry.’ Doojoon’s friend said. Doojoon nodded and took a look at Reii before walking away.

It had been a month since school started but he had never once see Reii around with her classmate whenever he walked past her class.

*She always seemed so quiet and distant. Why?* Doojoon couldn’t help ponder.

Doojoon was now eating in the canteen with his friends.

‘Isnt that girl over there cute? She’s just studying in the class next to us.’ Doojoon’s friend said. Look over to see that it was Reii’s classmate.

*Now that I think about it, I had never seen Reii inside the canteen have I?’ Doojoon couldn’t help but ponder about it.

‘Im going to the washroom. See you all later in class.’ Doojoon said as he got up from his seat.

*Where would she be if she’s not inside the canteen? Inside the classroom again? Shall I go earlier and take a look if she’s there? I wonder what she is doing now?* Doojoon couldn’t help but ponder about Reii again as he wash his hand at the sink.

Ever since that day, he couldn’t stop thinking about her. All his thoughts were answered as he walked out of the washroom while looking across the field.

*So this is where she is all along during the break time* Doojoon spotted Reii sitting on the bench under the tree at one corner of the field.

*She looks so peaceful* Doojoon looked at Reii whose eyes were closed, her back leaning on the bench. How he wish he could just stand there and stare at her but to his dismay, the bell signaling the end of break time rang. Reii immediately opened her eyes and was about to stand up when she notice someone staring at her. Reii looked over to see a guy staring at her.

*Why is he staring at me?* she looked back at the guy who stare at her.

‘Ahem’ Doojoon make a fake cough and quickly look away knowing that he had been found out. He quickly walked away to prevent himself for anymore embarrassment.

*Weird* Reii thought but quickly shook away the thought and walked to class.
