Voice of my Heart
You had no idea Myungsoo was coming to the dance until you saw him enter the decorated gym, looking a little bit uncomfortable and a little bit lost. Dances weren’t really his thing.
“What’re you looking at?” Woohyun asked, following your gaze.
“Oh, I was just wondering what Myungsoo was doing here. He doesn’t really like dances,” you said.
“Oh,” Woohyun said with a laugh. “He didn’t tell you? Nicole asked him to the dance.”
“Oh...” You watched as Nicole entered in behind him, and he made a big show of giving her his jacket so she could hang it up. Nicole gave him a look that made him smirk at her before putting his jacket back on.
“I’m gonna go say hi to some of my friends. You coming with?”
“No, I’ll go talk to Myungsoo real quick, then I’ll meet you over there, okay?” You gave Woohyun a quick pec on the lips before making your way over to Myungsoo and Nicole.
“Hey, Myungsoo. Hey, Nicole.”
“Hey,” Myungsoo said, glancing over at Nicole. Nicole smiled at you before telling Myungsoo she was going to grab them drinks, leaving the two of you alone.
“You didn’t tell me you were coming to the dance.”
“You didn’t ask.”
“I’ve never had to ask before for you to tell me things.”
“I’ve been busy,” Myungsoo said with a shrug. He didn’t really feel like arguing with you right now, which was exactly what you were looking for. He could see it written all over your face. He wasn’t sure why you wanted to pick a fight with him, though. You were the one traipsing around the school all over Woohyun.
“You always made time before.”
“That was before. This is now,” Myungsoo said, avoiding your gaze. He spotted Nicole with the drinks and excused himself, leaving you to stare after him, completely dumbfounded.
