Soojin's POV

My eyes were set on the earring that was on my ear before.

I didn't remember having an earring that looked like this.

It's looked like a key. And it's only one! Where's the other pair??

Wait. An earring that looked like a key? Oh maybe it's Key's!

I gotta give it back to him. I ran downstairs, towards the kitchen and found Key cooking.

“Oh you're up already. Good morning, did you have a great sleep?” Key said as soon as he realized that I'm in the kitchen.

“I did.”

“I see. I'm cooking noodles. You can have some of them later, just wait in the dining room.” I pouted which made him chuckle.

“You don't want noodles? O-Okay.. I'll cook something else.”

He said as he opened our fridge and searched for something.

“Noodles is fine with me.” With that, he closed the fridge and looked at me confusely.

“Are you sure?” He asked me and I nodded.

“Hmm.. okay.” He was about to go near the stove again but I tugged his sleeve.

“You left this on my ear.” I showed him the earrings.

“Ohh that.” He shove my hands off of him and went back to the stove.

“Aren't you gonna take it back?”

“Actually... I left it purposely.”

Left it purposely?? What does he mean?

He went near me and leveled his ears on my eyes.

I gasped as soon as I've seen his ears closer.

“This is the other pair.” He stand properly and smiled.

I felt myself blushing after I realized that.... he gave the other pair to me.

We.... were like couples.

“Why does that look like a lock if that's the other pair for this earring?”

“Key and locks.” He paused for a second and smiled. “What's the connection between the two?”

He's... making me blush after every word he uttered!!!

“I hope you know the answer.” He tousled my hair and went back to the stove.

I ran away from him and went to the dining room.

'Key and locks... what's the connection between the two?'

'Isn't it obvious?'

'I hope you know the answer.'

Those words... ARE KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I NEED HELP! I DON'T KNOW WHY HE MEANT BY THOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the earring. Why is he giving me that?

“Sit, Soojin. And eat.” I tilted my head and found Key putting the bowl of noodles on the table.

I sat and stared at the noodles.

My eyes widened after I saw him sitting across me.

“Huh? Why are you looking at me like that?” He smirked and got his chopsticks.

“Don't tell me, you're planning on me.” My wide eyes faded and slowly turned into glares.

Did he just said that I'm going to him!?

He chuckled and looked at me.

“Here.” He was about to stuff noodles in my mouth again. But I didn't open my mouth.

He leaned closer and opened my mouth and put some noodles in.

I chewed the noodles and swallowed it.

“Do I really need to feed you?”

“Okay, I'll eat.” I got my chopsticks and started eating.

“Soojin..”

I put more noodles in my mouth and looked at Key.

“Hmm?”

“If someone's celebrating their birthday, what gift would you give them?”

I quickly swallowed the noodles though I haven't chewed some of them.

“It really depends to the person who is celebrating.” I get my glass of water and drink it.

“What if... that someone is me? What would you give me?”

“Since I don't want my precious chocolates to be given just like that, I'm gonna give you a-”

Wait. If that person is Key? Pfft, I'd rather choose not to give you something.

“A... a smile.” I smiled at him and he smirked and continued eating.

“But I don't think you're a kind of person who wants a smile only, Kibum.”

“You think of me like that?”

I nodded. “You want something special. Especially if it's from someone who has a special place in your heart.”

Special place in his heart. Special.

Who might that someone be?

“If it's from someone special, I think a smile from her is enough for me.” He looked at me smiling.

That smile on his face....

MAKES MY FACE TURN REEEEDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!

Aish, what's happening to me?!

You don't blush like this in front of Key, Soojin! You don't!

You only blush like this in front of Taemin! Lee Taemin only!!!

But... why did I blush...?

“Umm.. Soojin.” I looked at him with a what-is-it expression.

“My grandparents actually wants us to eat dinner at our house. Are you okay with that?”

“Dinner? Sure! As long as the food is delicious.”

“Don't worry. Our foods are always good. We own several restaurants here in Korea, remember?”

Huh? They own several restaurants?

“I.. didn't know that.”

“I thought you.. I'm sorry, I just mentioned it now.”

So this dude is filthy rich. And as what I've seen, he's the only grandchild of the Kim's.

So it means he's the successor of the business. Lucky, huh?

“Your family owns a restaurant company. About how many branches do you have?”

He shrugged. “Don't pretend like you don't know, Kibum.”

“I swear, I don't know.”

He looks like he really don't know. This kid is not interested in businesses, just like me.

Like me. Oh well, I remembered our own company.

Yes, we're rich but I don't feel it.

I mean, my parents raised Onew and I as down-to-earth persons.

We never brag about our money.

“Eat faster so that I can wash your bowl too.” Key went to the kitchen while bringing his empty bowl of noodles.

“Fineeeee.” I said as I eat my noodles.
