Description
It was 2016 when the whole of Asia, if not the world, fell in love with Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo through the drama Descendants Of The Sun, earning the moniker SongSong Couple.
It was 2017 when the whole of Asia, if not the world, rejoiced at the announcement and subsequent event of their wedding. Fans from all over the world can probably still remember the glee, joy, chills, and happiness they felt upon reading the hottest headline that July 5th of 2017.
It was 2019 when divorce rumours had circulated, but was quickly dismissed due to an interview given by Song Joong Ki during his Arthadal Chronicles conference, affectionately calling Song Hye Kyo "my wife." that May 28th of 2019.
It was June 27, 2019 when the whole of Asia, if not the world, anguished at the announcement of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's official filing for divorce.
It's 2022, and it had been a good three years since then. Both Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have not been affiliated since. But as both of them start taking on new projects and was forced to cross paths at awards ceremonies, meetings, and gatherings how will the two of them fare? Can Song Joong Ki still keep his "Mr. Perfectly Fine" attitude, and can Song Hye Kyo maintain her "Ms. Alright Now" facade?
Foreword
I rewatched Descendants of the Sun a few days ago and I'm just reminded by all the roller coaster of emotions I had invested on the SongSong Couple. I know that they're both leading their own happy lives now, but I still just want to keep this fantasy alive in my heart. It's not really healthy for my fan girl heart but hey a girl can dream, right? And I guess if you're reading this then we're all on the same god damn SongSong boat of 2017 hahahahahahaha.
The story is set one year into the future. Everything will obviously be fictional and since I have not watched any dramas of them after their divorce (it hurts too much okay?! It's not fair I know, I'm sorry...) I may not be mentioning their actual projects from 2019-2021. But anyway, that's what fanfics are for...for the realization of our fantasies and wishful thinkings.

*i remember i created a poll back in 2017 asking if i should write a SongSong fanfic because they just announced their marriage then, but decided not to because I figured real life was better than fanfics for the first time...but I guess I was too idealistic, and this fanfic was just too late.....but oh well :)
