SONG JOONG KI

It's been two weeks since Hye Kyo and I had come back from our one week trip to the French Polynesia, and everything's been good, better than ever even.

Our days are spent lounging at home, going on secret late night dates, and trying to keep our relationship underwraps as long as we possibly could.

Now We Are Breaking Up has also been consistently performing good in the ratings, especially after the 8th episode had aired. I was painstakingly counting the next 4 weeks until the drama finishes airing so that Hye Kyo and I could finally make a joint announcement about our relationship. My manager had been against it at first when I told him of the plan, saying that it was way too soon and way too abrupt, but being as insistent as I was, there wasn't really anything he could do to convince me otherwise. Besides, having Cha Tae Hyun Hyung's support as a co-founder of Blossom Ent. was a huge help, so right now even my agency is preparing a lot of things for the upcoming announcement.

Hye Kyo had started to become busy again a few days ago, she had accepted a new drama for Netflix called The Glory, and she was pretty pumped about it since it was written by Kim Eun-Sook Noona, our writer for Descendants of the Sun. I actually hinted to Noona that I wanted to play the male lead, but seeing as they needed someone much younger than I was, I wasn't even considered for the role. That kind of disappointed me, but of course after having two dramas with Hye Kyo already, I knew it was by a long shot that they'd even let me do the drama before I even proposed it. I just wanted to try my luck by even suggesting to audition.

After we got back from our vacation, the photoshoot and interview I did for GQ was published, it had garnered quite the reaction that it ended up trending on social media sites for a few days, especially the part wherein I talked about working again with Hye Kyo for NWABU.

"I told you it was a bad idea not to have your interview edited!" My manager scolded.

"I don't see the problem with it at all." I shrugged.

"Well, let me read it out loud then!" He said with an exasperated sigh. "Here - there's an excerpt that also described your reaction - 'When the topic of Song Hye Kyo was brought up, Song Joong Ki can't seem to stop himself from smiling widely as he answered a question in regards to his ex-wife.'"

"I love working with Hye Kyo. She's an amazing actress and working with her is definitely a great privilege. Like always, she had been gracious with helping me with practicing lines and the emotions that our characters exchanges onscreen. It is very easy to feel the same emotions Yoon Jae Guk (Song Joong Ki's character in Now We Are Breaking Up) has for Ha Young Eun (Song Hye Kyo's character for Now We Are Breaking Up). The love he has for her is very selfless. The kind where he is willing to sacrifice his own image and reputation, just so that he is able to be with her. Their love story is not easy, knowing how their past is connected and intertwined, but Jae Guk still fought hard to be with Young Eun. I think I can somehow relate with that."

"The interviewer then asked how Song Joong Ki can relate to his character." My manager continued reading the article. "Song Joong Ki answered, 'I have also found myself in a situation much like his. Having to choose between some things just so I can follow my heart and be with a person despite knowing that many would question it. But all it really took for me to go ahead with my choice is the fact that I do love the person and I cannot find myself without her. So, ofcourse, I am willing to be like Jae Guk and be with that person at all cost."

"When asked if this is a recent happening in his life and if it is to served as confirmation that he is indeed dating, Song Joong Ki only smiled."

"Now, do you see the problem?!" My manager exclaimed. "You are so obvious! Really, the only thing lacking is a placard placed above your head saying that you are dating Song Hye Kyo-ssi again! Everyone online is speculating a lot of things!"

"I never mentioned a name." I said. "And besides, I can be talking about anyone - not a lot of people picked up on the fact that I am talking about Hye Kyo."

"What do you mean not a lot!?" My manager bellowed. "Song-Song fans are going crazy on twitter right now!"

"They are?" I couldn't help but grin.

"Stop smiling! This is not the time to be smiling!" Hyung scolded. "If you're only active on social media then you'd know just how close you are from being found out! You have to give the fans more credit for being way too observable."

"No one's going to find out until Hye Kyo and I decided to announce it." I said dismissively. "We've been very careful. You know that, Hyung."

He sighed heavily. "I can only hope and pray that you are right."

The topic soon died down anyway since none of us was responding to any speculations online and we just went about our daily lives like usual. I continued with my break from
