[NO ONE'S POV]

[OCTOBER 19, 2022; 8 AM]

The girls decided it'll be better if they drove together to Daecheon, so Mina rented a minibus for the whole group to use. They started carrying things in the bus,

JY : "Who's idea is taking a bus anyway? We could've driven there separately."

JH : "Your wife." She sarcastically said.

JY : "My wife?"

JH : "Nayeon, haha." She jokes. "Of course, it's Mina. Do I really have to tell you that?"

JY : "You know she's not."

JH : "She's basically your wife since we're small. Just not legally haha, let's go before the kids start whining."

JY : "They won't, they're patience is really long, I've seen it in class."

JH : "Oh I mean the other kids....." The two of them started laughing.

The first thing the taller girl did when she got inside the vehicle was to check her little friend who was sitting next to Nayeon, Jieun, and Jiyeon. She carefully checked if Mio was buckled in her seat.

JY : "Gome Michan, you can't sit with Ka-san for now. If you need anything ask your aunt Nayeon, tell her if you need to have a toilet break."

MI : "Hai!"

JY : "Don't take your seat belt off while the car is moving and don-"

NY : "I think she heard enough besides, you can see her in the rearview mirror. Gaja!" She said cutting the taller girl.

JY : "Arraso, arraso."

It's just been an hour since they left when Dahyun asked Jeongyeon to make a toilet stop. The taller girl thought of filling up their gas tank anyway. The other girls wait for her inside the bus,

CY : "3 boxes of pizza and a case of beer on me, if that girl asks Jeongyeon unnie for her number."

TY : "Make it 4."

Mina with a good sense of hearing stood up from the front seat and looked at the back, there she found the rest of the girls looking outside the window. She checked what was going on and everything seems normal, just Jeongyeon talking to another girl.

NY : "A year of free dinner in our place if Jeongyeon gives it to her."

MI : "Ehhhh she won't." The smaller girl protest.

And perhaps all of them were too engrossed with what was happening they didn't notice Mina walking out of the bus. Before they knew it the Japanese were already walking towards Jeongyeon.

DH : "Oh, oh here comes the wife."

JH : "Well, my bet goes to Mina."

MM : "But we all know she's not gonna say anything."

SN : "And we also know that Jeongyeon is her first love, I'm sure it'll be different this time."

TY : "I agree with Jihyo and Sana unnie, let's see what happens." She said opening the window slightly.

When Mina heard Nayeon saying Jeongyeon would give her number, something inside her just started fuming. She wasn't sure why but it got to a point she thought it's time to get the taller girl back inside. She started making her way down the bus, the denial was strong.

"You're not jealous, you just want to get going that's why you came out to get her. Besides Jeongyeon loves you, she's not gonna give her number to anyone but what if she does? What if she finds her more attractive? Aish, Mina you're not jealous, you're not jealous." She repeated in her mind.

The closer she gets to them, the more confident she gets.

Because Jeongyeon came back after almost 20 years but still she chose Mina and Mio over everyone else.

MN : "That's right Mina, you're not jealous. You're not jealous...."

"Hey, what does a charismatic girl like you doing with a bus?" The other girl asked.

JY : "I'm with friends and family." She politely said and proceeded with what she was doing.

"You should go with me, you'll have more fun." The girl suddenly walks closer to her.

MN : "You're not jeal...."

The moment Mina looked at them, the girl's hand was already wrapped in Jeongyeon. Before she knew it, something inside her has flipped. She hurriedly walks to them and hugged Jeongyeon from the back.

Maybe she is jealous, because at the moment all she could think of, is to claim her girl back.

MN : "Hey love, are you seriously gonna make your wife and daughter wait? Aren't we leaving yet?" She said popping her head at Jeongyeon's side.

MN : "Oh, mianhe. I didn't notice you there. Do you need anything from my wife?" She looked at her dead in the eyes.

Mina even emphasized the word wife.

"Mianhe, I didn't know she has a wife. I'll be going now." The girl just left after that.

Jeongyeon turned around and hugged her back.

MN : "Tss, I turn my back on you for a minute, and here you are flirting with someone else."

JY : "Ehhh? I didn't, she was the one who flirted with me."

MN : "Hmp." She pouts

JY : "Haha did you really got out to get me? Or was it because you're getting worried and jealous?"

MN : "Of course I'm not. Why would I get jealous? You said you love me right???? Unless you changed your mind and you want someone younger."

JY : "Haha pabo, why would I look for someone else? If it's not you, then it's no good. I told you, I L-O-V-E Y-O-U!" She said hugging the Japanese tighter.

TY : "Okay we get it, you two are crazy for each other but do you really have to do it in front of all of us?"

And in the heat of the moment Jeongyeon and Mina once again, forgotten that there's a whole bunch of people with them. That the world doesn't solely belong to just the two of them.

Quickly they let go of each other and look to the side, only to find everyone looking at them while covering the kids' eyes.

NY : "At least get a room. You two be flirting this early, shame."

JH : "When you two are done with being lovey-dovey, let's continue driving." The girls closed the windows, and the two could only laugh at what happened.

[DAECHEON BEACH; 1 PM]

It took them another 2 hours to arrive, put their things in their rooms, and went back out to a lunch buffet by the beach to celebrate Mio's birthday. Before anything else, they took a picture of the birthday girl with everyone, with just the kids, and then,

CY : "Okay, now let's have the family."

Mina walks toward the center and stood next to Mio. Jeongyeon who was standing behind everyone pulls out her phone, she thought of taking a picture of the two girls she loves the most in this world. She plans to replace her phone's wallpaper with it.

Until she noticed that the mother and daughter were looking at her. She looks around and everyone is just staring at her.

JH : "How long do you plan to make us wait?"

JY : "Ehhhhh???"

TY : "Well Chaeng did say family picture. You didn't hear?"

MI : "Jeong-chan?"

MN : "Hurry up so we can start eating."

JY : "But..."

NY : "But what? Here, I'll take the picture for you three, dork." She said grabbing Jeongyeon's phone.

The taller girl made her way to where the Myoui's are. She looked at Mina as if she was asking if it's really okay if she joins them. Mina just nodded at her. When Jeongyeon stood next to Mio, the smaller girl grabbed both of hers and Mina's hand.

Jeongyeon can never seem to get enough of these two, every day always feels like a whole new story, and maybe the best part of this all is the part where with just two hands she can hold her world.

A world she'll protect no matter what.
