After the dreadfully long hours of school was finally over, Baekho stretched his limbs out and yawned. He had almost fallen asleep during the final period and thankfully he didn't or else he would have missed the bell although he felt really lazy to move today. Why? Because he didn't really have a reason to. Since the beginning of this week, he would bolt once the bell rang because that meant he got to hang out with Min after school but not today since the other was busy. He held his phone and spin it, wondering if he should text Min or just wait patiently. He could wait. He didn't mind. But he didn't want Min to get upset at him for not doing as he said. He could go home and study for the exams but he was too lazy. He rocked himself on the chair and sighed.

Students started to clear out from the classroom, leaving him alone to his thoughts. He decided to text Min after all. If the other even brought his phone to school. Well, if he didn't, Baekho could just wait at the school entrance instead.

'Hey. I know you told me to go home but...' Baekho tapped the side of his phone, trying to think up of a way to tell Min that he would wait for him. He deleted the message and pouted. Why was this so difficult? He sighed and decided to just send a simple message instead. 'I'll be waiting at the school gate.'

After he pressed send, he packed up his bag and headed to the restroom to take a quick toilet break. He passed by the student council room and noticed the lights were on. He peeked in through the rectangle window on the door and noticed Minhyun with another student stamping papers. Baekho often wondered what the student council actually do but he didn't want to get involved with them so he decided against entering the room. He entered the restroom and did his business, washing his hands after he exited and slowly made him way to the school gate. He yawned and stretched again, feeling tired but determined to wait for Min. The school seemed quieter without the students around and Baekho wondered where the other could even be. He wondered if he should take a round around the school to find Min instead but didn't want to take the chance of missing the other at the school gate either so he just walked out instead. He leaned against the gate and took out a textbook to review. From a standing posture to a sitting one, he ended up crouching to finish his homework as he waited for the time to pass. He rubbed his eyes, feeling sleep about to take him when he heard loud engine noises. He turned his head to find 5 males riding motorbikes heading his way. He frowned when he recognised them. He didn't want to deal with them so he just ignored them but he kept his book just in case they tried anything funky.

"Look who we have here. If it isn't the wild tiger of the east."

Baekho gritted his teeth slightly. He didn't know where he got that stupid nickname from but he thought it was lame. Fighting itself was lame too. Just ignore them, he told himself. 

"Cat got your tongue, missy?"

Baekho clicked his tongue, feeling his annoyance gradually build up.

"Come on. You beat up one of my guys real badly the other time. So why the meekness now?"

Baekho sighed and rubbed his neck, rising to his feet. "Look, I don't have time to play around with you guys. Just scram and find someone else to pick on."

One of them hopped off their motorbike, Baekho could see the baseball bat in his hand too. This was definitely about to get ugly, he could tell and he honestly didn't want any part of it. Where was the school guard when you needed one? Baekho clutched his bag tightly and glanced over to the school yard. Plenty of space there. Or he could run back inside and lose them easily since he knew the school layout and he was pretty sure these guys didn't.

"Just play with us for a little. After all, you're just sitting here doing nothing."

"I rather do nothing than fight you guys," Baekho barked back as the one who had gotten off the bike now stood in front of him, bat tapping on his shoulder threateningly.

"Then you won't mind if we beat you up? Repay the kindness you showed our friend?"

Baekho grumbled and frowned. "Look here. He was the one who wanted to fight me and wouldn't let me leave until I did. So it's his own fault he got beaten up. Don't blame me."

The male frowned and swung the bat. Baekho ducked and clenched his jaw. So they were going to fight after all. The others revved up their engines as Baekho bolted towards the school.
