Ms. Hwang drove them over to Baekho's house. Minhyun assured her they would be fine and she could go back to work. Minhyun pushed the wheelchair which Baekho was now seated on into the apartment, clicking the button to go up and waited patiently for the metal doors to open. Baekho was silent the entire time, just picking at his fingers as he waited to go home. Minhyun wanted to ask. He was curious and worried about what really happened but Baekho didn't seem to be in the mood to say anything so he held it in first. They entered the apartment and Minhyun helped Baekho onto his couch since his knee was still numb and he could barely feel it there anymore which meant he couldn't really move his leg either. He plopped onto the couch and still refused to look at Minhyun even when the other sat on the floor in front of him and leaned his head on his lap. 

"Baekho?" Minhyun cooed softly to get his boyfriend's attention. Baekho pursed his lips and glanced at Minhyun whose brows were raised a little in a pitiful expression. Minhyun gently held his hand and gave it a kiss, causing him to flinch. "Are you annoyed by what happened?" 

Baekho nodded and ran his hand through his hair. "I'm mostly... Just annoyed at myself." 

"Why?" Minhyun asked since Baekho was finally willing to talk. He felt Baekho grip his hand tightly. 

"Because I can't protect you if I keep getting hurt like this. I know you don't need protection but this makes me feel so weak," Baekho confessed while covering his eyes that threatened to spill tears. "I feel weak..." 

"You're not weak," Minhyun said softly while slowly pulling his hand away from his face. Minhyun smiled gently and Baekho sniffled. "You just have a slightly more obvious weak point than others." 

"Doesn't that make me weak?" 

"Well... You still keep going despite it so how does a hurting knee make you weak?" Minhyun caressed Baekho's cheek as the shorter male finally look him in the eye. "You're strong, Baekho." 

"But I can't even take care of one guy by myself now..." 

"Depends on which guy you went up against."

"Yoon."

Minhyun stopped moving when the name slipped out from Baekho's lips. His breathing stifled before it resumed in a rushed fashion. "He.... Did this. To you?" Minhyun's gentle tone was wiped off, replaced with a cold angry one. Baekho gulped, startled by the sudden change. He gripped Minhyun's hand. 

"He... Its my fault. I shouldn't have accepted his challenge." 

"Go on. What else happened?" 

Baekho sighed and patted the space beside him. Minhyun moved and squeezed himself onto the couch close to Baekho, leaning against the shorter male with their hands still clutched together. "He was in the student council room waiting for you and... He mentioned something about child killer and.. He wanted a fight. Said he would leave us alone if I won. I didn't even think about it and accepted because I didn't want him to hurt you or be anywhere near you. We fought... And I found out he was the one who spread the rumor in the school. Then he found a way to kick me in the knee and it hurt. It just started hurting so much. He also told me that Jonghyun quit as a captain. I... I felt so messed up. Both physically and mentally."

Minhyun felt horrible for not being there for Baekho even if he was now. He leaned his head against Baekho's shoulder and neck, breathing lowly to keep himself calm. "I'm sorry I wasn't there."

"No, no. Don't be sorry. I was an idiot for thinking I could win without knowing his potential." 

Minhyun tilted his head so he could see Baekho's face. "Can I go beat him up?" 

"What. No! I did that so you wouldn't have to deal with him but I lost..." 

"Yeah and he hurt you so..." Minhyun motioned his hand and Baekho pushed it down. 

"No. I don't want you to get hurt too." 

"I won't. I know his dirty tricks. I've fought him before and won," Minhyun hissed while sitting up. He noticed Baekho giving him the puppy stare and sighed, going back to leaning against him. 

"What about... The child killer thing? He said you haven't really told me what he did to you." 

Minhyun groaned and hid his face against Baekho's neck. "I don't like recalling what he did..." 

"So you were planning on just hiding it from me?" Baekho questioned while leaning his cheek on Minhyun's head.
