Two groups of individuals were sitting around in two different living rooms. One room was dimly lit and smelt like blood while the other had lights on, air filled with scent and incense. An elderly looking individual walked around the table and sat on what seemed to be his designated spot in the dark room.

“It is her, isn’t it?”

“Yes”

“And we failed to kill her”

The younger-looking man swallowed his spit. “Not sure how she escaped, but the boys ensured everyone was killed, and later burned down the house too”

A haunting moment of silence proceeded as the elder fell deep into his thoughts, eyes dead set on the other around him.

“And the prince – how did we miss him?”

“His adoption probably-”

“He was named KIM JAEJOONG AFTER HIS ADOPTION”

No one dared to, and unfortunately was not able to reply back. Afterall, the vampires themselves were not sure how Jaejoong slipped away from their radar.

“She holds the same power, doesn’t she?”

“Yes, grandfather” One vampire answered. He was the same person who had been keeping tabs on Reya and Jaejoong. “The witch tried to put her under a spell, but she broke it”

The elder sighed. “400 years of tracking them down, killing either one of them each time we see a look-alike, but the one time we failed was when both of them came back with their memories intact and were found by the wolves!”

“UNBELIEVABLE!” The table was thrown to the wall in anger.

But the vampires didn’t dare to move a muscle, afraid that they could be next.

The elder leaned back and looked at the ceiling. “Getting her is hard, especially with the prince around…” He muttered with utter dejection.

“But she could come to her if we lure her in, don’t you think so grandfather?”

The elder sat up straight and looked at his grandson. “What are you thinking now, boy?”

“The FBI agent, grandfather” The grandson smirked, “Let’s use him to bring her to us”

The bright room, on the other hand, had a handful of well-dressed ladies lounging around. One of them was Jessica. They had witnessed what had happened and had arranged an emergency gathering.

“The white witch is repeating her actions” One of the witches broke the ice.

“But this time the prince won’t fall into her trap” Another informed

“This only means she could use someone else to eliminate the girl”

“Who do you think that could be?”

Jessica swallowed her spit. Her plans to win Jaejoong were of no use. He was the prince reborn. And the girl she had learned about as a child, looked upto and at times, helped while hiding in the shadows was his true mate.

Oh god! Why didn’t she bother to find more about the prince?! Then she wouldn’t have let her feelings escalade!

There was no way Jaejoong would chose her, or any other woman. It was Reya, then, now and forever. And it was her, along with all the ladies sitting around, duty to protect Reya.

Afterall, it was the promise they made after Lisa ruined everything centuries ago.

And Jessica will not break that.

“Changmin oppa, Yunho oppa, and also Baekhyun” Jessica spoke out. “They are reborn. Baekhyun is already with Reya and the other two would be coming to NY soon for SM Town”

Oh, she was unaware that TVXQ were already on their way to NY to meet Reya….

Silence ensured in the room as the witches began to think though a plan.

Jaejoong meanwhile was uncomfortable with what was happening to him.

“Reya we’re on the road. You can’t be holding my hand”

The hold was let go. She turned and looked him in the eye. “What happened, happened. Do not ask her about her mother”

Jaejoong narrowed his eyes. “What did you do?” He asked

“I did nothing” She replied

Jaejoong sighed. “What did she do?” He corrected

“She did what she had to do to protect her child.” Reya replied.

“And I need to know!” Jaejoong demanded

“Why?” Reya asked

“Because I have a feeling you might do something this time too”

Reya was taken aback. She didn’t expect him to pick things up as fast as he did.

“Tell me Reya. Please?”

“She did what she had to do to protect her child. Ayana is now a big girl, she can handle things herself”
