Kim Heechul had been keeping a keen eye on Jaejoong. For the past few days, Jaejoong hadn’t been himself. Firstly, he wasn’t at home. He usually wasn’t, but usually during this time of the year Jaejoong and his team was on holiday, meaning he would always perform the management work with his father and Heechul.

But he wasn’t doing any work. He was barely at home, not even coming home to sleep.

Then that stopped within a couple of days, only to see him turn to someone Heechul couldn’t recognize. Jaejoong suddenly was getting rather grumpy and seemed to be always on a search for something. Nothing satisfied the young prince and he always walked away when his family tried connecting with him.

But then things got out of hand when Heechul got word of Jaejoong bullying a simpleton, a young boy and later arrest someone who stood against him. His mother now grew really concerned and ordered Heechul to find out the root cause, frightened that her brave son would have been under a spell of some sort. After all, witchcraft, though forbidden was still known to have been followed by certain people. Given the number of enemies Jaejoong would have made, the possibility of one of them trying to stop him is imminent. 

Concerned, the Crown Prince took a step to speak with his brother following him. Firstly, to the dungeons, only to learn that no one was brought to the prison. Now that concerned him. On the search for him, Heechul spotted Jaejoong in Yunho’s home almost trashing the owner’s house. Only when Heechul intervened did Jaejoong stop.

Since that day Jaejoong was under lookout, and surprisingly he seemed to have not done anything out of the ordinary, save for his unexpected grumpiness.

On the night the King and Queen decided that they had to bring in the a priest from the temple Heechul spotted Jaejoong storm out of his room and towards Yunho’s quarters.  

There can be only two reasons in the world the Prince would rush towards Yunho in that manner.

And there was only one reason the Prince would rush towards Yunho in that manner, in his nightwear at such a time of the hour.

Please don’t tell me that brat again… Yunho prayed to himself and got out of the bed, immediately putting up his act.

“My Prince, what”

Yunho’s words were caught hanging in the air when Jaejoong clasped his hands over the hem of his clothes, pulling the taller male towards the Prince.

“Tell me where that woman is Jung Yunho” Jaejoong ordered “Or I swear I’d throw you into the dungeons right now”

“Are you referring to that girl who ran away-”

“I am referring to the woman YOU helped run away” Jaejoong cut in, “I am referring to the woman who made you get that orphan as my brother’s man servant!” He added on, “That very woman you and that brat Shim Changmin are protecting from me!”

“Yes, Jung Yunho, I am referring to THAT WOMAN indeed!”

Heechul took a closer step and listened to the conversation unfold from by the window.

“Why are you thinking I am connected to that gir-”

“WOMAN! Jung Yunho! She is a fully grown woman!” Jaejoong corrected sternly. “And she is driving me CRAZY to the point I can’t sleep properly!”

“But she is only nineteen…”

Jaejoong’s eyes now zoned in at Yunho, whose eyes just widened realizing what he had just blurted out.

“Where is she?”

Yunho momentarily shut his eyes as he bit his lip. “My prince”

“Oh so now you remember that I am your prince?! All these time you lied to my back – I who happens to be the same person you call as ‘your prince’!”

“He never lied – just didn’t tell you anything about me”

A shiver ran down Heechul’s spine. He knew that voice. How could he not when it as the voice of the girl who rejected his heart? When it was the girl he was still in love with?

Both men in the room stilled listening to Reya’s unexpected voice and looked to see her stand by the door to Yunho’s room.

“That – and I’m just better at threatening him than you” She smirked egoistically

Heechul now peeped through the window.

It was her.

It was really her.

But what was she doing here? IN A MAN’S BEDROOM?!

Yunho was let go. Reya maintained her playful façade, lips twitching up a smirk and eyes gleaming mischievously watching Jaejoong take four long strides towards her.

“Don’t say I left you wanting for more…” She teased

 “I don’t want more woman. I want EVERYTHING”

Jaejoong was at a point of no return. He wanted her. Oh he wanted her. Not for answers, but for survival.

Yunho was glued on his spot, mouth hanging witnessing something he never dreamt of seeing. He cringed at the sight but couldn’t break gaze.

Damn… Was that how you kiss a woman? He pondered… So much spit, yet so… wow…

One last and she gently pushed him, not away from her but just the right distance where she could see him face to face without having his addictive scent drug her. “Will there be more of these?” She asked

Jaejoong was stunned to his core. He had just kissed a woman, not just any woman but the one woman who had always managed to slip away from him. It felt as if he won a treasure chest – no! the world at that moment!

He looked at her burning the image of her face deep in his soul so that he would never forget it.

He swore to himself that he would never forget her, no matter how bad things were.

His thumb began gently caressing her cheek as his lips creaked from a corner.

“I have no idea” He confessed. “But if you are up for it, we can have another go at it”

Tears began to fall down Heechul’s cheek. His hand clenching the cloth over his chest as he fell down to the ground.

It finally made sense. Everything finally made sense. It finally did.

It’s wasn’t a spell that someone had put on him it was something worse.

And what hurt him the most was that this time, the feeling was mutual.

Heechul flinched as his eyes sprung open. “What madness was that now?” He muttered under his breath as he adjusted his position on his seat.

Bending to grab a bottle of water, he immediately gulped down its contents and leaned back. For the first time he saw Yunho in his ‘dream’ and surprisingly Changmin’s name was heard too…

For the first time he saw Jaejoong – AND HE WAS KISSING THE GIRL OF HIS DREAMS!

“Ani, there is a girl. Her name is Reya and oppa is now in her room”
