Trapped
The Reason BehindA/N:
I needed a break.
A break from all these bombings.
Our street is full of funerals. It's such a sad sight...
Just to think my parents were to visit the St. Anthony's shrine in the morning but somehow ended up delaying is still bringing me chills. Thank whatever thing that made them delay! Thank you for not attending mass else
God! I don't want to think.
So here you go. A chapter written to keep my mind away from the mourning...

Author POV
A life of a hunter is simple. Research on freak accidents or incidents, pose as officials to get more intel, find the troublemaking freak, kill it, and most importantly, don’t get killed.
This time though, the case (it’s what they call each incident they work on), came to them when an elder who seemed to be in her mid 60s knocked onto the door of the motel room they had rented for the night.
The boys were cautious to let her inside, let alone open the door but did anyways.
“I’m here to give you a job” She informed.
The boys looked at one another. Sam, the more polite of the duo, proceeded to speak with the lady.
“I’m sorry ma’am but I think you have-”
“You are Sam and Dean Winchester, aren’t you?” She asked looking at the brothers one at a time. “I’ll take your silence as a yes so please listen”
Glances were shared once again between the brothers and they looked ahead.
The lady took in a deep breath. “I’m sure you are aware of the werewolf curse..”
“The one where a witch cursed the werewolf race because the princess killed her lover..” Sam narrated.
“Yes” She nodded.
“What about that lady?” The eldest, Dean raised his brow. While, Sam was more compassionate, Dean was considered ruthless and rough on the edges.
“Well the lover of the witch is reborn and now his life is threatened”
“By whom?”
“Vampires…. For now”
Dean frowned. “Are you implying that we should help the werewolves?”
“The boy is destined to break the curse and bring peace between the supernatural and human. and that’ll only mean that he’ll be put to a lot of danger.”
“I still don’t get why you – hold on” Dean stood up from the bed “Who are you again?”
The elder look showed signs of hesitance. She had to reveal her identity. Taking in a deep breath and holding her head low, she confessed. “I’m the werewolf princess” And looked up only after exposing her identity….
That shocking talk led them to where him to what he was doing; keeping an eye on the so-called redeemer of the supernatural. He knew they were not at all comfortable having him inside. But what nothing could be done now. Though never did he expect Reya to be caught in the middle. What she stole from them – the colt, was something special. It was a one of a kind gun that was especially capable of killing powerful supernatural beings.
They had done their research to see if she had sold it but received no intel of any bids or information about any sale. The fact that she had the colt made their lives easier since the only other option was to behead the vampire, which would be very difficult given the fact that he was a powerful one.
Taking in a deep breath he took another sweep around the outside and looked back in noticing that the savior himself was keeping an eye on him. He smiled and Jaejoong gave him a nod.
The wordless conversation thus ended.
Jaejoong too was keeping an eye on the stranger with Ayana beside him who was caressing his palm with her thumb as an act of calming him down. Somehow having her by him calmed him down though he would be preferring to have the other girl by him at such a time.
“Don’t worry ok? We’ll protect you” Ayana smiled assuring
And who’ll protect her? Jaejoong retorted mentally.
“How did he find us?” He asked Ayana who in turn questioned the lone hunter.
“A tip” was his short response.
The princess had requested her identity to be kept in the shadows in any case one of her kind inquires from them since she didn't want them to feel that she thinks they cannot protect Jaejoong. She is well aware that they can but didn't want the death of a vampire to be blamed to the werewolves. That would for sure start a war between the two kinds. But if a hunter does, well, it is their job to kill such creatures - the werewolves would escape without taking the blame.
This, of course, she didnt tell it to the Winchesters explictly.
“From whom?” She inquired.
Sam smiled. “I know you are on alert for who I am but don’t worry. We won’t harm anyone of you, unless you pose a threat to humans”
The boys around him tensed. The hunter knew what they were. They shared looks and finally with Ayana somehow managed to be calm.
“So you know what we are”
“Yes”
