Jennie gripped Chaeyoung’s offered hand tightly as she closed her eyes and prepared for a landing. Chaeyoung shook her head in amusement but enjoyed the feeling of the warm and soft hand that was making her own hand lose its bloodstream.

‘’Tighter than that and you’ll break a vein wifey’’

‘’Shut up hubby’’

Chaeyoung laughed and a few minutes later, they finally touched down Korea. After an emotional ride last night, she woke up feeling rather energized, as if she released all the negative energy in her mind and body.

Chaeyoung left her dark thoughts at New Zealand, however, her feelings for the girl that is sitting right next to her is getting stronger than ever before. A small part of her wished that it was just the New Zealand vibes that got her all worked up to Jennie…but no, it’s not that case at all. Seeing those cat eyes still staring at her with love and joy has her lips curling upwards and her eyes sparkling with happiness.

And she’s not imagining it. Indeed Jennie is now staring at her with those specific eyes making her blush shyly

‘’Let’s go hubby’’ Jennie said with her signature gummy smile

But for Chaeyoung it’s not just Jennie’s gummy smile, it’s a gummy smile that is special. It is only meant for her eyes only

Chaeyoung smiled back ‘’We’re seriously getting jet lag anytime now’’

‘’And you both better stop talking in English because we’re in Korea now’’ Mr. Park chuckled, now speaking at their Korean tongue

‘’Omo!’’ Chaeyoung gasped ‘’I almost got used to it’’ She pouted, her tongue now in Korean though she missed speaking in English. It’s what she’s used to most of her life after all.

Jennie felt a bit disappointed to not hear her hubby’s Aussie accent but nevertheless, she probably recorded her accent in her mind anyways…and maybe her phone

‘’You want to return there next year?’’ Jennie said, her eyes twinkling

Chaeyoung nodded almost immediately ‘’Of course!’’

Mrs. Kim nudged Mrs. Park’s arm ‘’Looks like we have to save up some money’’

Mrs. Park laughed ‘’Looks like it.’’

‘’Do I have to go to overtime now?’’ Mr. Kim pouted, almost looking like a bit of his daughter

‘’Dad stop that!’’ Jennie groaned making Chaeyoung giggle

Both families got their luggage as they call for a van to go back home. It’s now past lunch time and all of them are absolutely exhausted from the plane ride that goes on for almost 12 hours.

‘’We should definitely do this again’’ Mr. Kim said as the van drives them back home

Mr. Park agreed ‘’And maybe some other places too’’ 

‘’How about Europe?’’ Mrs. Kim said excitedly

‘’Honey you’re killing my wallet…’’

Mrs. Kim slapped Mr. Kim at the back of his head ‘’Are you denying me?’’ She asked while glaring at her husband

‘’No dear’’ Mr. Kim groaned before whispering to Mr. Park ‘’At least your wife isn’t as violent as mine is’’

Both Parks laughed at them while at the back, Chaeyoung and Jennie snuggled up to each other using Chaeyoung’s jacket to warm them up. They both smiled seeing their parents interacting like long lost friends.

‘’It feels nice’’ Jennie whispered to not interrupt the bickering Kim parents with the snickering Park parents

Chaeyoung nodded, a smile on her face watching their families interact ‘’Yeah…too bad we have to leave Alice behind’’ She said softly ‘’Though I’m still not that happy with you two getting closer…’’

Jennie laughed quietly ‘’I thought it feels nice seeing our families get closer…doesn’t that apply me getting closer to your sister?’’ She said with mirth in her voice

Chaeyoung huffed ‘’Well…I don’t mind the two of you close’’ Then she whispered the next part

‘’Just not…closer’’

‘’Jealous hubby’’ Jennie teased

Chaeyoung pouted ‘’I have the right you know’’

Jennie glanced at the jutted bottom lip and bit her lip to restrain herself

‘’Don’t kiss it…don’t kiss it’’

However Jennie kept staring at the ranting Chaeyoung, watching how her hubby’s mouth moves in the Korean language very well and how her tongue slowly slips out as if teasing her, beckoning her to just ing do it.

Jennie glared at Chaeyoung’s lip and pouted herself

 ‘’Fine!’’

At least she would be able to shut her hubby up about getting close to her sister

And it did, Chaeyoung finally stopped ranting as Jennie pecked her at the lips. It was so quick, but it was firm; The soft lips that she almost got used to because of how passionate they kissed the night before. Chaeyoung smiled while a blush has been at her face now.

‘’Well’’ Chaeyoung giggled ‘’That’s an efficient way to shut me up besides feeding me food’’

Jennie chuckled ‘’I’m sorry…I couldn’t help it’’

Chaeyoung looked at Jennie whose face contorted to a bit of guilt. Her facial features softening as she whispered ‘’It’s okay…I’ll figure it out all soon. I’ll find a way’’

Jennie smiled, staying strong ‘’I know…’’

A moment of silence passed by between them, and Jennie broke it by speaking quietly

‘’Do you really mean it?’’

‘’Mean what?’’

‘’That you have strong feelings to me?’’

‘’I do’’

‘’Then that’s enough reassurance for me’’

Jennie smiled before looking on ahead, seeing a familiar figure waiting in front of Chaeyoung’s porch

‘’I’ll be strong enough to get through all the incoming pain then…’’

Lisa watched as Chaeyoung and her family get out of the van while getting their luggage out of the back of the van. Even though the windows are tinted black, she locked eyes with Jennie, sensing the older girl’s eyes on her.

Lisa’s calculating eyes against Jennie’s strong-willed ones, they kept staring at each other and even though they’re not facing one another personally, the tension was thick and high. It all finally disappeared when the van drove towards Jennie’s house, breaking their staring contest.

Lisa’s eyes finally moved towards her girlfriend, and she could smell foreign country all over her.

She didn’t know whether to smile or frown at that

‘’Is it me or did you get taller?’’ She finally let out a small smile to ease the tension between them

Mrs. Park looked at the two of them and whispered to her husband who nodded in agreement

‘’We’ll take care of things here Chaeyoung’’ Mrs. Park smiled while giving Lisa a nod of acknowledgement in which Lisa returned with a polite smile

Chaeyoung smiled and hugged her parents ‘’Thanks mom, dad’’

They gave her reassuring smiles as well as a look that says that they will always be there to support her which made her teary-eyed for a bit. She took a deep breath and nodded at them

As soon as her parents are out of sight, Chaeyoung let out a small ’oomf’ as she was tackled by a certain giant whose scent invaded Chaeyoung’s senses…

And it was a comforting feeling…Chaeyoung smiled a bit and hugged back, Lisa’s presence calming her racing heart and to be honest? It’s kind of nice to see her girlfriend again

‘’I miss you…so damn m-much’’

Chaeyoung’s heart broke hearing Lisa cry at her shirt and held her tightly while whispering sweet nothings on her ear ‘’I miss you too Lis…’’

Lisa tightened her hug around Chaeyoung, her scent still familiar to her but it has a hint of something else as well, something familiar which made her cry even more

‘’I won’t let you get away from me…’’ Lisa thought ‘’Especially to…her’’  

‘’You want to talk?’’ Chaeyoung whispered

Lisa shook her head ‘’I had enough talking…’’ She said vulnerably ‘’Please…just let me cuddle with you for the rest of the day…and then we’ll talk’’

Chaeyoung let go of the hug and her heart is struck again by guilt seeing the dark eyebags under Lisa’s eyes

‘’My place or yours?’’

‘’Is it okay if it’s in my place?’’ Lisa said with a small voice

Chaeyoung smiled at her cuteness and kissed her forehead ‘’Of course it’s okay’’

Lisa smiled, finally a true wide smile that made Chaeyoung feel relief at seeing it ‘’Let’s go then’’ She intertwined her fingers with Chaeyoung and felt her heart full at feeling Chaeyoung’s hands entangled with her own again.

God it’s been a ing hell for Lisa this Christmas

At least, she would be able to make up for lost time then. They walked passed Jennie’s house and as if Lisa could feel Jennie staring at them by her window, Lisa suddenly stopped in front of Jennie’s house with Chaeyoung looking at her with confused eyes

‘’Is there something wrong Lis-‘’

She was cut off by a pair of strong lips silencing her and she was stunned at why Lisa did that. Lisa moaned a bit as she ravished the younger girl’s lips

‘’God I missed her so much’’

Before Chaeyoung could react, Lisa released the kiss and just smiled.

‘’I forgot to do it when I saw you…’’ Lisa smiled innocently and as she turned her head away from Chaeyoung, she sent out a small smirk to Jennie’s house as if stating that Chaeyoung is hers before continuing her walk towards the next house which is hers.

Chaeyoung looked behind and her heart clenched in pain seeing Jennie looking at her with a pained smile

 ‘’She must have seen it!’’

Chaeyoung could only watch Jennie close her curtains before she could quickly mouth the words ‘I’m sorry’

Chaeyoung closed and sighed inwardly. She could feel a part of her relieved that she’s back at the arms of her girlfriend, away from all the confusing feelings she got from New Zealand…

But a part of her is aching to touch and be with the other girl next door. To hug and kiss a certain cat-eyed girl who will whisper nothing but sweet words and shower her all the love she has in her tiny body….and she knew herself she would do the same to her.

And Chaeyoung didn’t know which part is right

As soon as Lisa’s room was closed, Lisa immediately began pushing Chaeyoung gently to her own bed.

‘’Chaeng…’’ Lisa whispered as she began to straddle Chaeyoung ‘’God I missed you so much…’’

Chaeyoung gulped, nervous at where this is going ‘’I…I missed you too’’

Lisa smiled and leaned closer to kiss her by the lips gently. Chaeyoung’s heart is beating erratically as Lisa kissed her but she should be excited right?

This is her girlfriend…right?

‘’Are you tired?’’ Lisa murmured as she released the kiss ‘’You haven’t been returning my kisses…’’

‘’It’s only jet lag don’t be sad’’ Chaeyoung smiled softly before pecking Lisa at the lips ‘’Besides you have eye bags that could beat a panda. We should catch up some sleep then’’

Lisa chuckled lightly ‘’Yeah you’re right…’’ She pecked Chaeyoung’s lips and trailed kisses all over her face making Chaeyoung giggle at the soft lips that’s attacking her face

‘’Yahhhh’’ Chaeyoung drawled out

Lisa stopped kissing her and she could feel her smile returning as she watch Chaeyoung’s small smile at her actions. She settled herself besides Chaeyoung and hugged her tightly, burying her head to Chaeyoung’s neck. She sighed happily; Finally after her hell week, she get to cuddle her girlfriend...and she couldn't be much happier seeing and touching her right now.

‘’By the way’’

‘’Hm?’’ Chaeyoung looked at her questioningly

‘’Is my mark still at your chest?’’ Lisa smirked lightly and wore a happy grin when she saw Chaeyoung blush at her in embarrassment

‘’I-it’s gone now.’’

‘’…do you want another one?’’

‘’Lisa!’’ Chaeyoung groaned with a blush still on her chipmunk cheeks ‘’Let’s go to sleep please’’

‘’I’ll give you one later babe’’ Lisa giggled and sighed in contentment as Chaeyoung wrapped her arms around Lisa to make her feel comfortable

Chaeyoung glanced down at her girlfriend and she feel her heart clench…could she bare to leave her girlfriend for the other girl that has captured her heart as well?

Could she leave and break up with this cute yet hot girl that dances like a machine and has been able to make her laugh and smile in her toughest days? The girl who cheered her up when she’s down? The girl whose brave enough to do the first move and did the drastic measure to ask her to be her girlfriend at their dance competition? Could she truly let go of that electrifying feeling that she felt when that moment happened?

Chaeyoung tightened her hug to the now sleeping girl beside her…Her lips quivered

Could she really do it?

Sure Lisa has some of her faults, she’s been way too possessive and even has the audacity to get jealous to their own best friends. Well, now she understand why she’s been jealous to Jennie since day one…

Chaeyoung’s eyes widened in realization

‘’Wait…Lisa knew that Jennie has feelings for me too?’’

That’s probably why she’s throwing a fit when she said that her and Jennie’s family are going away for a week in New Zealand. She’s scared this might happen…and she’s too dumb enough to notice Jennie’s signal to her even before the New Zealand event.

Did they both caught feelings to her at the same time?

Chaeyoung pondered about that and she knew to herself that she has to make a decision…Her mind is confusing her heart making it even harder to tell Lisa the truth…

If she didn’t make a decision soon and Lisa finds out in a different way…

She will definitely lose her safety net…for good

Chaeyoung shed a few tears and bent down to kiss Lisa in the forehead firmly. She caress her head and inhaled the calming scent that Lisa has…

Yes, Lisa is her safety net; the one who’s always there for her, a special connection that’s only between the two of them, and she’s confident that no matter what, Lisa will not leave her. She’ll stay with her through thick and thin…

But does all safety net last together till the end? Does she really have confidence that Lisa will not leave out of her life once she knows that truth?

Chaeyoung closed her eyes, letting the jet lag take her to dreamland…as she holds her safety net close to her, scared that she will lose this feeling in the future…

Will she have confidence to make a decision?

Or her paradise?
