Jennie yawned while waiting for Chaeyoung to come out of her house. It was morning and they both decided to also jog in the morning before proceeding to her house to do the presentation. She grinned excitedly ‘’I get to have Park Chaeyoung all to myself’’ Jennie murmured giddily. She is sure that they will probably spend the day all alone since her parents are away for work so Jennie will use this day to hang out with her as much as possible. Who knows? ‘’She might fall in love in the process’’

Jennie doesn’t want to get her hopes up, all she knows is that she is falling deeper in the being called Park Chaeyoung, like she has a magnet inside of her that always makes Jennie come closer to her, to feel attracted to her. Nevertheless, the feelings that she gets every moment spent with her, Jennie loves it, every each of them. Jennie shook her head, a gummy smile taking over her face the moment she saw Chaeyoung step out of her house, jogging clothes around her body and a bag. Jennie’s eyes twinkled seeing Chaeyoung brightening up upon seeing her ‘’See? Only Park Chaeyoung’’ Jennie chuckled to herself

‘’Wifey!’’

Jennie laughed when Chaeyoung lunged at her and tackled her in a hug ‘’Whoah! So much energy in the morning’’ Jennie teased ‘’Do we even need to jog?’’

Chaeyoung laughed ‘’I just feel really good today’’

Jennie swore that a smile is permanent on her face right now ‘’Why?’’ Chaeyoung just stared at Jennie and smiled ‘’Because I get to spend a day with my wifey’’ She said sweetly

Jennie blinked and just like that her thoughts are going crazy, starting to assume that Chaeoung might possibly like her. Not wanting to take too long in thinking, Jennie spoke up ‘’ You can always spend a day with me everytime you want hubby’’ Jennie smiled, taking Chaeyoung’s hand and started to jog with their hands intertwined ‘’I love spending my day with you’’ Jennie said, unknowingly making Chaeyoung smile and just gripped Jennie’s hand tighter

‘’I do too’’ Chaeyoung whispered, not wanting to let Jennie hear her own thoughts. ‘’I really do’’

A bell chimed signaling someone entered the café, that someone referring to the talking Jennie and Chaeyoung who have decided to eat at a café before going to Jennie’s house.

‘’Finally some cold air and food’’ Jennie exclaimed, relishing the cold air from the air conditioner present at the café. Chaeyoung nodded and pat her stomach ‘’I’m so hungry’’

‘’You want anything?’’ Jennie asked ‘’My treat’’

Chaeyoung smiled like a child ‘’Really?!’’ Jennie giggled and pinched Chaeyoung’s cheek because of its adorableness ‘’Yes hubby so say what you want before I take it back’’ She said jokingly

Chaeyoung cheered like a kid who got her ticket in an amusement park, she skipped towards the menu with an amused Jennie behind her. She began picking her food animatedly with Jennie looking at her fondly

‘’That’s…a lot’’ Jennie sweat dropped when she saw just how much Chaeyoung picked. Chaeyoung looked at Jennie ‘’Uhm…it’s okay if I can pay it you know’’ She said sheepishly ‘’I’m just really hungry’’

Jennie’s pride wouldn’t let her take back her word so she will do it…even if her wallet will get lighter after this ‘’No don’t worry hubby I’ll handle it’’ She winked ‘’Though next time I’ll just cook for her…’’

Chaeyoung squealed in delight and hugged Jennie ‘’Thank you wifey!’’ Chaeyoung’s scent went through Jennie’s nose who felt contented at that ‘’I’m willing to spend millions of dollars if it gets me to spend more time with you’’ Jennie whispered

‘’What was it?’’ Chaeyoung asked ‘’Did you say something?’’

Jennie shook her head and took out her wallet, smiling at Chaeyoung, never getting tired doing it ‘’Nothing, let’s just eat.’’

Chaeyoung smiled back and kissed Jennie’s cheek ‘’Thank you again wifey, you’re the best’’

Jennie’s eyes widened, immediately directing her hand to her cheek; The feeling of soft lips touching her cheeks, Jennie is glad that she likes girls, happy even. Why did Chaeyougn suddenly did that though?

Then she remembered something

‘’Well, good luck to both of you. If there is one thing that changed about Chaeyoung is that…’’ Jisoo said ‘’She doesn’t do the first move anymore

Her eyes trailing at Chaeyoung’s back figure as she went back to their seat, playing with some puppies.  ‘’That’s…that’s the first time Chaeyoung initiated something like a kiss…’’  She watched Chaeyoung giggling and talking at the puppy like it was human, the sight making her heart soft ‘’What…what does that mean?’’ Jennie whispered, her fingers still touching her cheek. She shook her head and thought that she will think about it later. Right now, they need to fill their empty stomach and finish their presentation today

‘’So, are we headed to your house now?’’ Chaeyoung asked as she and Jennie walked towards Jennie;s house, which is quite just near.

Jennie nodded and grinned ‘’Yup, I’ll even introduce you to Kai and Kuma since you love dogs very much’’

Chaeyoung’s eyes sparkled ‘’Really?!’’ Then her face turned into a frown ‘’But that will mean that I won’t get much focus to do our work if I play with them’’ She pouted

Jennie chuckled ‘’You’re right, maybe we’ll play with them after we do our presentation’’

Chaeyoung nodded eagerly before starting another topic with Jennie. Jennie nodded and talked back, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere around them, like they have their own world.

Jennie looked forward to the direction of her nouse since they are near now and contorted her face into annoyance ‘’Oh you have got to be kidding me…’’ She immediately grabbed Chaeyoung’s hand and swiftly turned them both around and hid in an alleyway

‘’Jennie wha-‘’ Chaeyoung squeaked but Jennie shush her by putting a hand to and taking a deep breath to calm herself. Chaeyoung stared at the close-eyed Jennie ’’She’s so…’’ Her heart beating fast as she noticed their close proximity by her scent, her eyes scanning Jennie’s face up so close  ‘’beautiful…’’

‘’Chaeyoung…’’ Jennie whispered and removed her hand from making Chaeyoung’s heart beat fast when Jennie opened her eyes and stared at her own ones. ‘’This seems familiar…’’ Chaeyoung thought, she vaguely remembered this very moment with Jisoo a year ago, even the feeling that she gets except this time, it was Jennie who was inflicting this feelings to her

‘’Chaeyoung’’ Jennie called out again, snapping Chaeyoung out of her trance. Chaeyoung blushed a bit and stuttered ‘’U-uh y-yeah w-what is it wifey?’’

Jennie looked at her strangely before shrugging ‘’Can we go to your house instead?’’ Chaeyoung looked confused ‘’Sure but…why?’’

‘’Mom texted me that she’ll be home with some friends.’’ Jennie said too quickly, like she was rapping. Chaeyoung slowly nodded and said ‘’Sure…you want to go back to your house so you could get some clothes?’’

Jennie remembered that Chaeyoung was suppose to take a bath to her own house that’s why Jennie didn’t bring any clothes for obvious reasons. ‘’I’ll just borrow some of yours if it’s okay for you’’

Chaeyoung nodded slowly in confirmation and the two stayed in the position just staring at each other’s faces. Chaeyoung has been in this position before; she could feel the magnet at Jennie’s eyes, slowly attracting her towards the cat-eyed girl. Chaeyoung felt her chest squeezing ‘’This feeling…’’ She could feel herself shaking when Jennie leaned a bit forward and slowly closing her eyes prompting her to close her own eyes as well ‘’It’s the same as Jisoo’s’’

She remembered the slowness of time between them, the happiness and joy she felt, the sparks around them…could it be that Chaeyoung has started to feel again? It’s been a long time since Chaeyoung and Jisoo’s breakup that Chaeyoung decided to just enjoy and not let too much feelings be involved…

Chaeyoung’s eyes widened, finally remembering

That snapped her out of the bubble they are in, she remembered flashbacks of her and Jisoo breaking up, the months of no communication and the pain and agony she felt within those months. It was horrible…she doesn’t want another repeat, with that, she suddenly pushed Jennie

‘’!’’ Jennie yelped in surprise, her eyes widening at the also shook Chaeyoung. She suddenly felt guilty pushing an almost kiss between them ‘’Stupid Jennie!’’ Jennie cursed and was about to apologize when Chaeyoung rushed towards her with a worried look ‘’Oh my God wifey I’m so sorry, I-I didn’t know what came over me and’’

‘’It’s okay hubby’’ Jennie weakly smiled, she’s a smart girl, she knows why Chaeyoung pushed her away so she extended her hand to Chaeyoung ‘’Let’s go then?’’ She said sweetly, though it disappointed her that their almost kiss didn’t continue, she knows that she needs to work hard in order to get Chaeyoung’s affection ‘’And I am willing to do that for as long as it takes’’

Chaeyoung still felt guilty but smiled back and grabbed Jennie’s hand. She let Jennie guide her towards her own house, her eyes scanning the back figure of the older girl, butterflies flying inside of her remembering what almost happened in the alleyway

‘’What is wrong with me?’’

 ‘’Mom I’m home!’’

Chaeyoung’s mother looked up, she was busy cooking lunch ‘’Chaeyoung? I thought that you’re going to a friend’s house?’’

Chaeyoung smiled and kissed her mother’s cheek ‘’Change of plans though, we’re doing it here. Is it okay?’’ Her mom laughed ‘’Of course it’s okay’’ Her eyes averted to Jennie who was politely smiling at them ‘’You must be Chaeyoung’s new friend’’ She smiled giddily before walking up close to Jennie

Jennie bowed politely ‘’Good morning ma’am. I hope the change of our plans didn’t affect you much’’ Jennie said with a shushed voice, she didn’t know why she was being nervous.

‘’You’re so cute!’’ Chaeyoung’s mom squealed before surprising Jennie with a hug and pinching her cheeks

‘’Uhh…’’ Jennie laughed nervously. Chaeyoung blushed in embarrassment ‘’Mom!’’

Her mom pulled away with a sheepish grin ‘’Sorry about that. It’s not everday my daughter brings home a pretty friend of hers.’’ Jennie blushed and mumbled a small ‘thanks’ to Chaeyoung’s mom who giggled at Jennie before returning at the kitchen.

‘’You girls should go to Chaeyoung’s room. I’ll prepare lunch until then’’

Chaeyoung nodded quickly before grabbing Jennie’s hand and practically sprinting towards her room. Jennie quickly inspects Chaeyoung’s room and her scent immediately invaded her senses, effectively calming her down from the previous event.

‘’Wow’’ Jennie chuckled ‘’Your mom is quite…lively’’

Chaeyoung blushed a bit ‘’Yeah I know…she also acted like that when Jisoo goes here every now and then’’

‘’Oh so your family knows about your past relationship?’’ Jennie asked. Chaeyoung looked away a bit ‘’Uh yeah, something like that’’

Jennie looked at her strangely before shrugging it off ‘’Is it okay if I take a bath first?’’

Chaeyoung giggled and nodded ‘’Sure wifey’’ She said cheerfully before rummaging through her closet, pulling out some simple clothes for Jennie ‘’Here, you can use this’’

‘’Can I also keep it?’’ Jennie joked, accepting the clothes. Chaeyoung laughed ‘’Just go’’ She said, playfully shooing Jennie who pouted before reluctantly going to the bathroom

‘’Aish that girl’’ Chaeyoung shook her head, she decided that this is not the time for her to talk about her feelings. She’ll think about it on a later date. She looked at a certain picture frame at her room. Chaeyoung walked towards it and held it softly. It was a picture of her and Jisoo, back when they were girlfriends.

Chaeyoung sighed, her heart hurting remembering the events

‘’I don’t want to experience something like that ever again…’’

Her mind returning to her earlier moment with Jennie, her eyes showing a bit of hurt as she desperately tried to stop the butterflies inside of her
