‘’Chaeyoung! You done yet?’’

‘’Just finishing up!’’ Chaeyoung shouted. She finished putting light makeup on her face as well as brushing her hair. She looked at her reflection and nodded in satisfaction ‘’Clothes check. Passport check. Tickets with my mom and phone fully charged... What else did I forget?’’ She murmured

‘’Chaeyoung!’’

‘’On my way downstairs mom!’’ Chaeyoung shouted back ‘’Geez my mom sure is excited’’ She mumbled. She grabbed her luggage as well as her phone and looked at her room ‘’See you in a week I guess’’ Chaeyoung smiled, feeling excitement bubbling inside her heart. She was going back to her birthland! In the middle of her excitement, she didn’t notice someone creeping up behind her with her own gummy smile  

‘’Hubby!’’

Chaeyoung turned around and smiled happily at the cat-eyed girl who was wearing specs, a white ’The Beatles’ shirt as well as ripped jeans. ‘’Wifey!’’ She exclaimed and laughed when Jennie hugged her tightly ‘’We’re going back to our homeland isn’t it exciting!’’ Jennie giddily said

‘’I sure am’’ Chaeyoung laughed, Jennie’s excitement making her feel even more giddy ‘’Let me guess, my mom sent you here?’’ Chaeyoung raised her eyebrows

Jennie nodded and let out a big gummy smile ‘’Well, our luggage are at the back of the car now slowpoke’’ She teased

Chaeyoung playfully rolled her eyes ‘’You guys are excited way too much, our flight is what? 7 more hours?’’ Chaeyoung said teasingly

Jennie pouted ‘’Come on hubby I’ll help you carry your luggage’’ She scanned Chaeyoung’s outfit and smiled ‘’We look matching hubby’’

Chaeyoung scanned her clothes and noticed that she was right. She was wearing a NASA white shirt as well as ripped jeans, almost the same as Jennie. ‘’I’m still taller than you’’ She stuck out her tongue

Jennie smacked Chaeyoung at the arm ‘’Meanie’’ She pouted before grabbing Chaeyoung’s luggage and walking downstairs with Chaeyoung laughing at her. She playfully ignored Chaeyoung’s poking at her cheeks

‘’Oh come on it’s just a joke’’ Chaeyoung chuckled ‘’Well, it’s a fact joke?’’

Jennie wanted to laugh but decided to blow her cheeks so that she wouldn’t laugh, making her look like a dumpling.

‘’Aww wifey you’re so cute!’’ Chaeyoung squealed and kissed Jennie at the cheek. Jennie blushed up a storm ‘’Y-Yah! Hubby!’’

‘’Yes wifey?’’ Chaeyoung raised her eyebrows keeping her laughter inside as they stared at each other like their roled have been switched.

‘’There’s the married couple’’

Both girls looked at Mrs. Kim looking at them with a playful smirk. They both blushed ‘’M-married couple?’’ Chaeyoung stuttered

‘’Yah mom!’’ Jennie pouted ‘’Aisha you’re always teasing me!’’

‘’I’m joking honey’’ Mrs. Kim chuckled and winked at her.

‘’Chaeyoung, why are you making Jennie carry your luggage’’ Mrs. Park scolded her daughter

‘’But she insisted’’ Chaeyoung is now also pouting.

Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Park looked at each other and chuckled ‘’Sometimes, you girls are too cute’’ Mrs. Park said ‘’Now carry your luggage Ms.’’

Jennie was about to offer her service but another voice joined them

‘’I’ll carry them Mrs. Park’’

Jennie’s blood ran cold hearing that familiar voice as they all looked at voice and Chaeyoung’s mouth dropped in shock ‘’L-Lisa!’’

‘’Hey babe’’ Lisa smiled and opened her arms for a hug. Chaeyoung immediately ran up to hug her ‘’I-I thought you’re packing up your things for Christmas? Aren’t you going to Thailand soon?’’ She said so fast like she was rapping. She scanned her girlfriend’s outfit, a simple black shirt and denim jacket as well as jeans.

Lisa grinned and kissed her girlfriend at the forehead ‘’Already did, I woke up early to finish it so that I could come with you. I already talked to Mrs. Park if I could come and see you off and she agreed’’

‘’Why didn’t you tell me?’’ Chaeyoung frowned

‘’Pabo, it’s a surprise’’ Lisa playfully flicker her forehead ‘’and I think it worked’’

Chaeyoung finally smiled and kissed her at the cheek for appreciation ‘’You sure know how to surprise your girl huh’’

‘’Of course, I’m your badass girlfriend right?’’ Lisa winked at her before walking towards Jennie who gripped Chaeyoung’s luggage tighter.

‘’May I?’’ Lisa smiled at Jennie who forced a smile on her face ‘’Sure…’’ Jennie responded and gave Chaeyoung’s luggage to Lisa who nodded in appreciation.

‘’Thank you Lisa’’ Mrs. Park smiled at her daughter’s girlfriend

‘’No prob Mrs. Park’’ Lisa smiled back and offered her arm to Chaeyoung who giggled at her ‘manly’ action ‘’Acting like a true gentleman huh’’

‘’I’m not acting’’ Lisa pouted as they went outside the house.

Jennie sighed and felt a hand on her shoulder ‘’ Make this Christmas vacation worth it honey…it might be your only chance. Don’t hold back anymore okay?’’

‘’Will a week be enough mom?’’ Jennie whispered vulnerably

Mrs. Kim smiled softly and hugged her daughter ‘’Just show her your way of loving honey. The Jennie Kim that I know never gives up, and she is strong’’ Mrs. Kim said ‘’For this Christmas vacation, treat her right and show Chaeyoung why she should choose you. This is your chance honey, take it and don’t waste it.’’

Jennie looked at the back of Chaeyoung and remembered why she fell in love with this girl ‘’I love her…and I’ll make sure she’ll be the happiest this Christmas’’ Jennie smiled

Mrs. Kim smiled ‘’That’s my daughter’’

‘’I still can’t believe you’ll see me off’’ Chaeyoung giggled as they entered the car, the three young girls were at the back of the car with Chaeyoung in the middle and their parents minus Lisa’s, are at the middle since they only fetched a taxi that’s big enough to fit them all.

Lisa smiled warmly at her and kissed her at her cheeks ‘’I wanted to see you before a week of not being able to see my girlfriend’’ Lisa pouted

‘’We’ll video chat Lisa don’t worry silly’’ Chaeyoung playfully said

‘’Still as protective as ever Manobangs, you weren’t like that when you were with me’’ Jennie snickered. Lisa blushed and nervously looked at the adults who were just talking among themselves ‘’Y-Yah! Chaeyoung! Jennie is bullying me’’

‘’Go for it wifey’’

Lisa’s mouth dropped seeing Jennie’s playful smirk and Chaeyoung’s sniggers ‘’What a good girlfriend you are’’ Lisa frowned cutely

Chaeyoung just stuck out her tongue and laughed lightly when Lisa tried to ignore her ‘’Are you seriously ignoring me right now?’’ She said ''I thought you want to spend more time with me?'' She said in amusement with Lisa still pouting and ignoring her.

Jennie shook her head at the maknae ‘’C’mon Manobangs, if you ignore Chaeyoung, we can always switch places’’ She smirked to the sulking maknae, and just like that, Lisa pulled her hubby to her side ‘’No I want to sleep on chipmunk’s shoulder not yours’’ Lisa aggressively said ‘’You’re too tiny anyways!’’

Jennie gained a tic mark on her forehead ‘’What did you say!?’’

Lisa grinned evilly ‘’Geez unnie, you’re older than me yet your height is for dwarfs’’  She laughed when Jennie smacked her lightly at the head

‘’Jisoo is smaller than me!’’

‘’Well, she’s not here to let us compare that’’

Jennie scowled and looked at the amused Chaeyoung ‘’Hubby help me fight of this evil witch!’’ She pouted and used her puppy dog eyes so that Chaeyoung can side with her.

‘’Lisa stop teasing my wifey’’ Chaeyoung sighed giving in to the cute being next to her. Lisa gave her a disapproving look ‘’Fineeeeee’’ She drawled before stretching her long arms and wrapping them around Chaeyoung ‘’It’ll be a long drive right?’’ Lisa asked, closing her eyes with her girlfriend’s warmth lulling her to sleep.

Chaeyoung smiled seeing Lisa acting like a kid ‘’She is really just too cute’’ She thought looking at her girlfriend’s facial features which were absolutely like a Barbie to her. Chaeyoung poked Lisa’s cheek and couldn’t help but sigh in content ‘’Yeah…you woke up early so you should go to sleep for the rest of the ride.’’ Lisa just nodded and smiled when she felt Chaeyoung poke her cheek. Lisa creaked one eye to look at Jennie who was unbothered and while they were having their small moment, Jennie took the moment to get her earphones and listen to music during the ride while looking at the view outside through the window.

Lisa closed her eye ‘’Maybe I’m just being overprotective…Jennie wouldn’t do anything to Chaeyoung in a romantic sense…I should trust her more’’ With that given though, she let herself sleep while laying her head in Chaeyoung’s shoulder.

Chaeyoung felt Lisa fell asleep on her shoulders and let her be. The car ride was now quiet with a few chatters from the adults. Chaeyoung looked at Jennie on her other side and was awestruck on just how beautiful the older girl’s side view is. ‘’Wow…wifey sure is beautiful, I don’t even know how Lisa fell out of love of this cute being.’’

‘’Take a picture hubby, maybe it will satisfy your eyes’’ Jennie smirked sensing Chaeyoung looking at her with a look that she can’t identify. Chaeyoung blushed at what she said and just spoke out softly ‘’You’re just really beautiful wifey’’

Jennie looked away a bit to blush before taking a deep breath to look deeply in Chaeyoung’s eyes. They were quiet for a bit, just looking at each other’s eyes ‘’Then…’’Jennie whispered and leaned closer ‘’Take a picture’’ Jennie sent her a teasing smirk before flicking her forehead.

‘’Ow!’’ Chaeyoung pouted and rubbed her forehead ‘’What was that for?’’ She asked

‘’Because you’re too cute’’ Jennie bluntly said ‘’So, the monkey’s already asleep?’’

Chaeyoung giggled and looked at Lisa while smiling softly ‘’Yeah…she is’’

‘’How about you? You don’t want to sleep?’’ Jennie asked ‘’We all did woke up a little early.’’

‘’Well…’’ Chaeyoung timingly yawned making Jennie giggle at her ‘’Why do I feel like that’s the most heavenly sound I have ever heard?’’ She shook her head ‘’Maybe…you’re right’’

Jennie smiled at her softly, only Chaeyoung can do that to her ‘’Well, you can sleep on my shoulder than on that monkey’s head’’ ‘’Might as well do it early for more time with her…’’

Chaeyoung blinked and was thinking about the offer ‘’Will…Lisa get mad at that? I’m sure she won’t right?’’

Jennie suddenly pouted making Chaeyoung snap out of her thinking ‘’What’s wrong wifey?’’ Chaeyoung asked, her heart jumping a bit at how cute Jennie was in her specs, it really highlighted her face

‘’Is it because I’m small?’’ Jennie said with a…well small voice.

Chaeyoung snickered ‘’No, it’s not that.’’ She said in amusement. Jennie crossed her arms and looked away ‘’Fine, be that way’’ She said grumpily

As she was looking outside the window, a few minutes have passed and she felt a weight on her shoulder. She controlled her giddy smile and looked at the angel sleeping on her shoulder. Her hand reached out to touch her cheek softly and released her smile when Chaeyoung unconsciously leaned on it. She lay her head on Chaeyoung’s head and sniffed ‘’It smells like…home’’

She closed her eyes slowly, feeling the drowsiness entering her system. She sang along with the music she is listening to right now with Chaeyoung in her thoughts.

‘’You’re just too good to be true…can’t take my eyes off of you…’’

 ‘’Girls wake up! We’re here’’

Lisa groggily opened her eyes and lifted her head from Chaeyoung’s shoulder as she stretched ‘’Wow, it must be a long drive for me to feel so awake now’’ She murmured

‘’Hey babe! We should…’’ Lisa didn’t expect to see Chaeyoung leaning her head on Jennie’s shoulder and Jennie laying at her head as the two slept peacefully. ‘’go…’’ She whispered as she couldn’t help but felt spikes of jealousy seeing her girlfriend’s serene face by laying on her former rival’s shoulder.

Lisa swallowed her jealousy to not ruin the day and gently shake Chaeyoung ‘’Hey babe wake up, we’re here’’

Chaeyoung groaned and snuggled closer to Jennie which made Lisa clench her fist. Lisa took the drastic measure to just kiss her on the lips so that she’ll wake up.

Chaeyoung opened her eyes and it widens as she felt her girlfriend’s lips attacking her, with the adults just in front of them! She quickly pushed her off but not before giving her peck so that she’ll know that she’s just surprised

Chaeyoung blushed furiously and sighed in relief seeing the adults didn’t notice them ‘’Geez, what a great way to wake me up’’ She raised her eyebrows in amusement at Lisa.

Lisa crossed her arms and just smiled forcedly ‘’I’m just going to miss you so much’’

Chaeyoung smiled warmly at her which made Lisa calm down off her jealous thoughts. Chaeyoung gently raise her head up since Jennie is still fast asleep and decided to wake her up since the adults are now going out and paying the driver.

‘’Wifey, wake up we’re here’’ Chaeyoung whispered

‘’Five more minutes hubby…you’re so warm’’ Jennie said like a baby which unconsciously melted Chaeyoung’s heart while Lisa narrowed her eyes at her.

‘’Jennie Kim! Wake up and help us carry!’’ Mrs. Kim yelled jolting the three girls in surprise.

‘’I’m awake!’’ Jennie sat up straight before blushing in embarrassment since she shouted it. ‘’Mom, did you have to yell’’ She said with irritation in her voice.

Mr. Kim chuckled ‘’Something just never change’’

Mrs. Park raised her eyebrows in amusement ‘’They’re always like that?’’

Mr. Kim nodded ‘’Yeah, you’ll need to get used to it since we’ll all be together for a week.’’

Mr. Park laughed ‘’That’s noted my friend.’’

Jennie’s heart grew in happiness seeing her and Chaeyoung’s family getting along. ''This vacation is going to be a blast''

They all got out of the vehicle and carried their luggage, except for Chaeyoung since Lisa insisted to carry hers.

‘’Well girls, you still have 2 hours before we can check in. You should try and get some lunch with just the three of you since you’ll probably miss each other’’ Mr. Kim joked. Jennie rolled her eyes and playfully punched her dad’s arm.

‘’Sure Mr. Kim!’’ Chaeyoung cheerfully said. Lisa poked her chipmunk cheeks and said teasingly ‘’Food always gets you energized’’

Mrs. Park laughed seeing Chaeyoung pout ‘’You got that right Lisa. Now go you three, we’ll meet you back here after 2 hours’’

The three girls nodded and the adults left, probably finding their own lunch separated from them.

‘’Let’s go!’’ Chaeyoung grinned before grabbing Jennie and Lisa’s hand as she sped off.

‘’Chaeyoung wait! We have our luggage!’’

They decided to eat to a simple fast food restaurant with Lisa and Jennie panting from all the running and making sure the luggage didn’t hit any people.

‘’The things food does to you hubby’’ Jennie groaned

‘’I got to agree with you Jen…you don’t know how much I spend for this always hungry chipmunk’’

‘’Hey you offered it!’’ Chaeyoung shot back to Lisa

‘’Just because I offered it doesn’t mean my wallet didn’t suffer’’ Lisa fought back

Jennie sighed rubbing her forehead ‘’Let’s go find some seat and order before you two break up’’ ‘’Though I would want that’’

‘’I will never break this chipmunk’s heart’’ Lisa said in aegyo while kissing Chaeyoung’s cheek

‘’I know monkey’’ Jennie rolled her eyes ‘’Because I’ll kill you if you do.’’

Chaeyoung smiled how protective Jennie is to her and ignored her growing admiration to the cat-eyed girl. ''I got to stop feeling like this again...''

Chaeyoung decided to order for them because she didn’t know what to pick seeing so many delicious food leaving Lisa and Jennie at the table, a bit of an awkward silence surrounding them.

‘’I didn’t expect you’ll come with us to the airport you know’’ Jennie started before smirking playfully ‘’You scared you’ll lose your chipmunk to me?’’

Lisa scoffed but a part of her agreed at her last sentence ‘’I just want to see her since a week without her is dreading for me’’ She said dramatically like she’s dying.

Jennie snickered at how silly Lisa is being but she can’t help but feel a bit guilty. Lisa doesn’t know that her mother planned all this, planned to make Jennie have one last chance to get Chaeyoung’s heart even though it’s owned by the girl in front of her. If Lisa did know…she’s pretty sure her friendship with the younger girl is over, and if Chaeyoung finds out from Lisa, she’ll probably be disappointed to her…

Jennie gulped and felt nervousness struck her, what if her mother’s plan didn’t work and made things just worse? She could live with just being friends with Chaeyoung and Lisa, but having the both of them out of her life? She’ll probably be out of life.

She felt a hand touch her and flinched away. Her eyes nervously picking up Lisa’s worried ones.

‘’Jen? Are you okay? I’ve been talking non-stop about my homeland and you’ve been spacing off and sweating a bit. Are you feeling hot?’’

‘’U-uh’’ Jennie stuttered ‘’Yeah, don’t worry about me I’m fine.’’

Lisa’s eyes softened ‘’Hey…I’m still your best friend right?’’ She let out a small genuine smile ‘’You can tell me.’’

Hearing that made Jennie clench her fist under the table, the guilt she’s feeling is growing seeing Lisa’s action right now ‘’I’m sorry Lisa…’’

Lisa scrunched up her face in confusion but let Jennie continue. Before Jennie can say anything, she heard Chaeyoung’s startled scream which made her stand up like her body is ready to attack.

‘’I-I’m so sorry! I wasn’t watching where I was going!’’

Jennie angrily walked towards them seeing Chaeyoung’s white shirt stained with soft drinks as well as some spaghetti, her jeans were a bit fine aside from splashes of the liquid. Jennie glared at the stuttering boy as she helped Chaeyoung up.

‘’What the heck did you do!?’’ She roared making some people look at them as well as the staff already cleaning up the mess.

‘’I-I bumped into her, I’m so sorry! I was just dazzled by how beautiful she is and I lost my concentration and I swear I will pay all of your meal back!’’

Jennie swore she saw red when she heard the reason why ‘’I’m going to make you feel like you’re sorry’’ She clenched her fist and before it could meet the boy’s face, a soft hand touched her clenched fist.

‘’Wifey…it’s okay’’ Chaeyoung’s soft honey voice immediately lessened her anger but her glare remained still at the scared boy. Well, if you’re facing an angry Jennie Kim with her cat eyes glaring at you furiously as well as her fist clenched so hard it could punch through a wall, you would have been scared also.

‘’…be thankful the ‘beautiful girl’ that you bumped is kind as heaven.’’ Jennie snarled ‘’Pay our meal or I’ll seriously punch you in the face.’’ She said as the scared boy nodded furiously and as the staffs assisted him in getting all their orders again, they didn’t bother asking the furious Jennie since they’re afraid she’ll lash out at them.

Jennie felt eyes around them and gritted her teeth ‘’This is not a show everyone! Go back to eating!’’ She yelled at them which made the customers nervously go back to eating and forget what just happened.

Jennie scoffed and grabbed Chaeyoung’s hand as they head back to their table. Chaeyoung let herself be pulled by Jennie; she couldn’t believe what just happened. She was just going to let it slide but hearing the boy’s reason at that made her quite disappointed.

But seeing Jennie defending her and standing up for her, she swore her heart was beating so fast like it ran a marathon, and she was in awe as Jennie roasted the boy that bumped into her. ‘’She’s…amazing’’ Chaeyoung didn’t realize she was wearing a dazzled smiled, like Jennie sprinkled her with fairy dust and made her fly.

As they returned the table, Lisa just stood there, watching what just happened. She didn’t know what happened but, when she heard Chaeyoung’s scream she stood up ready to go to her girlfriend but a blur stopped her, and she couldn’t believe that blur was Jennie! It all happened so fast that Lisa just became a watcher, seeing her girlfriend being defended by someone who is not her…not her own girlfriend

As Lisa watched them return, she didn’t miss Chaeyoung’s smile at Jennie, it was small but she’s scared that it might be the same smile Chaeyoung gave to her when she asked her to be her girlfriend.

‘’I must be seeing things…’’ Lisa shook her head and immediately went to Chaeyoung’s side ‘’Hey…let’s get you changed up.’’

‘’I’ll come with you’’ Jennie said firmly tightly gripping Chaeyoung’s hand, still feeling protective around the girl.

Lisa raised her hand in front of Jennie’s face to stop her and gave her a crooked smile ‘’I’ll handle this. You’ve done enough Jen. I’ll go take care of her from here. You just wait for our food here on our table.’’

Jennie immediately came back to reality like cold water was splashed from her face ‘’I’m not her girlfriend…Lisa is.’’ With that thought, she reluctantly let Chaeyoung’s hand go which was immediately replaced by Lisa’s.

‘’Um…I should go get my clothes in the luggage’’ Chaeyoung quietly said sensing something’s wrong with her girlfriend after she snapped out of her dazzled state.

Lisa nodded and as soon as Chaeyoung got her spare top, Lisa grabbed her hand and quickly made to the bathroom leaving Jennie alone in their table…

Chaeyoung watched as Lisa grabbed some tissue at the bathroom and proceeded to wipe some liquid off of her body since she took off her stained top. She didn’t know why Lisa came with her since she can change by herself but seeing her girlfriend like she’s panicking and nervous, made her feel that there’s something wrong.

‘’Babe?’’ Chaeyoung called out but Lisa was quiet ‘’Lisa? Babe what’s wrong?’’

Lisa stopped wiping and suddenly, she sobbed and the waterfall of tears started puring down her face.

Chaeyoung panicked and immediately engulfed her girlfriend in a hug ‘’H-Hey what’s wrong? Is it because someone bumped into me? Don’t worry I’m fine really! It's not even that hard!’’

Lisa continued crying and gripping Chaeyoung like she was going to disappear, so Chaeyoung decided to let her release her worries for a few minutes.

After those few minutes, Lisa spoke up ‘’I’m sorry…’’

‘’For what?’’ Chaeyoung asked in confusion.

‘’For not helping you quickly…’’ Lisa answered before nuzzling her head to Chaeyoung’s neck ‘’Like Jennie did…’’

‘’Is she…threatened? jealous?’’ Chaeyoung thought and felt a bit guilty for admiring Jennie’s action before speaking up ‘’It’s okay babe don’t worry about it please…you’re not lacking okay? You don’t need to compare yourself to wifey…’’

Lisa bit her lip ‘’But the way you looked at her after that…’’

‘’Babe?’’ Lisa quietly spoke ‘’You’re mine only right?’’

Chaeyoung chuckled ‘’Of course I’m yours, I’m loyal to you okay?’’ She let go of the hug and grabbed Lisa’s cheeks as well as wiped her tears away. ‘’I love you Lisa Manoban’’ She kissed Lisa softly on the lips to reassure her.

Lisa felt calm now feeling Chaeyoung’s lips on hers as she kissed back furiously. She held Chaeyoung’s waist and pulled her closer, feeling her warmth.

Chaeyoung moaned softly feeling Lisa’s tongue battling with hers and good thing the door was locked since it was just one bathroom. Lisa released the kiss and began to kiss Chaeyoung down till she was in the valley of her s, she stopped and decided to the skin in it.

‘’L-Lisa!’’ Chaeyoung breathed out softly and her mind was screaming ‘’Are we really doing this in an airport?!’’

Lisa continued harshly on the skin making Chaeyoung stifle her groan and goosebumps appearing on her skin. Lisa let go of the skin with a plop and smiled in satisfaction seeing what she left, a big red hickey in the middle of Chaeyoung’s chest.

Chaeyoung in a huge amount of air from how she tried to prevent herself from making any noise that could alert anyone outside. ‘’W-what…’’ She panted trying to calm her hormones down ‘’What did you do?’’

Lisa grinned, her sadness from earlier gone and was replaced by a proud feeling inside of her. ‘’I left you my mark’’ She said cheekily

Chaeyoung’s eyes widened and went to the mirror. There she saw, a big angry hickey on her chest. ‘’Lisa!’’ She yelled and slapped Lisa’s arm.

Lisa laughed and winked at her ‘’You like it though’’

Chaeyoung blushed furiously ‘’Give me my crop top you meanie!’’ She pouted

Lisa chuckled and just looked at her with love in her eyes ‘’She’s all mine’’

Jennie watched as a blushing Chaeyoung and a smiling Lisa returned at the table. She raised her eyebrows but from what she’s seeing, they probably kiss and make up.

‘’That took a while’’ Jennie raised her eyebrows as Chaeyoung’s blush deepened and Lisa’s smile widen.

‘’My girlfriend just cheered me up’’ Lisa said cheerfully before starting to eat.

‘’Yah Lalisa! I waited for you two so we could eat together not you finishing up the food!’’

‘’Shut up Jen and let me eat’’

‘’You ungrateful monkey!’’

Chaeyoung giggled and watched the two former lovers bicker as she started to eat in her own pace. She glanced at Lisa who shot a wink at her, and that wink somehow made the hickey in her chest ache which made Chaeyoung look away in shyness. She then glanced at Jennie who was grumbling but eating.

Jennie felt someone stare at her and her eyes met Chaeyoung’s captivating eyes. She didn’t know why the younger girl looked at her but she responded by smiling warmly at her.

Chaeyoung blinked and didn’t notice a blush running up to her face again, so she continued eating as her heart beats rather erratically…but from who?

‘’Thank you for accompanying my daughter Lisa’’ Mrs. Park smiled as they all met up at the check-in area.

Lisa smiled back ‘’No problem Mrs. Park, it was my pleasure’’ She winked at her girlfriend who again blushed, still not getting over what just happened earlier.

Mrs. Park nodded and turned to Chaeyoung ‘’We’ll go ahead and check in.’’ She winked at her. Chaeyoung smiled and nodded as the adults and Jennie, who reluctantly joined them but she knows the two needs it, lined up for the check in.

Chaeyoung went closer to Lisa and hugged her tight ‘’I’ll miss you…’’ She said softly and tears started to make its way to her eyes.

Lisa smiled ‘’I’ll miss you too…so much’’ She said lovingly and hugged back.

After a full minute of hugging each other, they let go and Lisa giggled ‘’Yah! Don’t you dare release those tears’’ She teased

Chaeyoung laughed ‘’You’re teary-eyed also!’’

‘’It’s because of you’’ Lisa pouted. Chaeyoung shook her head at how cute she is and released those tears. ‘’I love you okay?’’ Chaeyoung said in a loving tone.

Lisa also released her tears and leaned closer ‘’I love you too’’ She kissed her softly in the lips. Chaeyoung kissed back as they kissed for a good seconds before releasing.

Lisa smiled and took off her denim jacket before putting it on Chaeyoung ‘’There, I know you still have some few hours to spare before you board the plane. That will keep you warm.’’

Chaeyoung’s felt her heart flutter at her action ‘’Thank you’’ She smiled sweetly ‘’I’ll see you in a week?’’

Lisa ruffled Chaeyoung’s hair and smiled cheerfully ‘’Definitely!’’ Lisa kissed her all over her face before leaving a long-lasting kiss in the forehead.

‘’I’ll see you in a week’’ Lisa whispered

‘’Chaeyoung! We’re almost at the check in!’’

‘’Coming mom!’’

‘’Enjoy your Christmas vacation okay?’’ Lisa said softly ‘’Call me from time to time and also’’ She bit her lips and winked at her ‘’Let’s continue what we started from earlier when you get home okay?’’

Chaeyoug blushed and ran off to the check in but not before yelling ‘’!’’

‘’I love you too!’’ Lisa shouted before chuckling to herself as she watch her girlfriend check in. She waved back when Chaeyoung and Jennie waved at her as they slowly went out of her sight.

Lisa smiled stayed before disappearing bit by bit. She’s going to miss her girlfriend…not only that, Jennie’s apology is also lingering in her head, but after having a moment with Chaeyoung, she knows she can trust them both.

‘’Nothing will happen…’’

Hours quickly passed by and soon it was now boarding time. Mrs. Kim watched as her daughter and her love interest continued on watching a K-drama on Jennie’s phone. She saw how Jennie teased Chaeyoung for being such a crybaby then suddenly becoming sweet by wiping her tears and even making funny faces to make her laugh.

‘’Our daughter’s in love huh’’

Mrs. Kim jumped in surprised before smacking her husband’s arm ‘’Shhhh quiet. Where are Mason and Clare?’’

Mr. Kim rubbed the smacked arm ‘’They’re at the bathroom.’’ He answered before looking at the two young girls ‘’Aren’t we going to tell them we’re boarding now?’’ He said amusingly

‘’Stop it, I’m enjoying this.’’ Mrs. Kim said

Mr. Kim hummed ‘’Playing cupid huh. Why didn’t you tell me about this earlier?’’

Mrs. Kim rolled her eyes ‘’Because you were busy being lazy’’ Her husband laughed and replied ‘’Well, this week sure is going to be fun, especially for the two of them’’ He pointed out the two giggling girls.

‘’It’s Jennie’s chance…and as her parents, we’ll help her make this week the best week for Chaennie.’’

Mr. Kim raised his eyebrows in mirth ‘’Chaennie?’’

‘’Yeah, their ship name’’

‘’You’re crazy…but that’s why I fell in love with you’’ Mr. Kim said sweetly making Mrs. Kim blush and grumble about being old and sweet.

‘’Girls! We’re boarding in!’’

‘’What already?’’ Chaeyoung said in surprise, she didn’t notice the time since she was really enjoying herself with Jennie.

‘’Time really flies fast when you’re enjoying’’ Jennie giggled before closing her phone. ‘’Let’s go my hubby?’’ She asked while offering her hand.

Chaeyoung smiled and grabbed her offered hand ‘’Let’s.’’

As they boarded the plane, they were positioned on the sides so only two seats are available. Chaeyoung and Jennie at the back of Mr. and Mrs. Kim., and in front of the Kim couple are the Park couple.

‘’Do you want to sit beside the window hubby?’’ Jennie asked and smiled when Chaeyoung’s eyes sparkled ‘’Can I?!’’ Chaeyoung exclaimed. Jennie nodded as Chaeyoung squealed and hugged Jennie quickly before sitting beside the window. Since it was night, she could clearly see the beautiful city lights that Korea has to offer.

‘’Good evening passengers this is your pilot speaking! Please enjoy our service and if you have any request, our stewardesses are there to help you with delight! Put on your seatbelts and please follow our safety protocol! Our flight will be 12 hours and 45 minutes until we reach Auckland, New Zealand. Enjoy!’’

Jennie felt nervousness in her heart as she felt the plane starting and readying to take off to the sky. She always hated the process of taking off as she gripped the arm chair tightly and closed her eyes.

She felt a soft hand in her trembling ones and opened her eyes. She immediately calmed down when Chaeyoung sent her a small smile and tightened her hand to Jennie’s.

‘’Thank you’’ Jennie whispered

‘’No problem’’ Chaeyoung replied with a caring tone.

They successfully took off as Chaeyoung giddily grinned seeing the beautiful street lights of Korea ‘’Wow…it’s so beautiful’’

Jennie felt herself calm down now but Chaeyoung’s hand was still holding hers so she decided not to mention to the younger girl so that she could enjoy her touch longer. The lights around the airplane dimmed seeing that they successfully took off. The dimmed light made Chaeyoung even more beautiful in Jennie’s eyes, her dazzling smile and happy almond eyes made her feel that she made the right decision in agreeing to her mother’s proposition.

‘’Yeah…really beautiful’’ Jennie whispered

Chaeyoung heard it and turned around only to see Jennie looking at her so fondly. It was unlike any look that Chaeyoung saw Jennie give to others…somehow, it felt different. It felt…right. Chaeyoung smiled and decided not to comment about it and just enjoy the moment.

Jennie yawned which made Chaeyoung giggle ‘’How cute’’ ‘’You want to sleep wifey?’’

Jennie nodded cutely and rubbed her eyes ‘’Can I sleep on your shoulders?’’

Chaeyoung gently grabbed Jennie’s head and placed it on her shoulder while murmuring ‘’You don’t have to ask my wifey…’’

Jennie breathed in Chaeyoung’s scent by her hair and just knew one thing.

‘’This is going to be the best week of my life.’’
