Chaeyoung and Jennie finally finished taking a bath and started to do their presentation for almost 2 hours now. They were now almost finished with their presentation and also, Chaeyoung’s mom bought them lunch when noon started rolling in. Doing their presentation and brainstorming throughout of it all made them pretty hungry after all

‘’We’re almost done?’’ Jennie asked, plopping down at Chaeyoung’s bed. Her mind was hurting from all the studying and talking she and Chaeyoung have been going on and on. Not only that, she was getting distracted since Chaeyoung was wearing specs that really looked good on her. ‘’Dear God she’s so beautiful…’’ Jennie bit her lip

‘’Yeah we’re almost done’’ Chaeyoung sighed massaging her temple a bit ‘’Want to take a quick short break?’’ She gave a small smile to Jennie

Jennie nodded and sighed in contentment just laying at Chaeyoung’s bed.

‘’Is my bed really that comfy?’’

Jennie heard Chaeyoung’s giggle and just said ‘’Come lay here with me’’  Chaeyoung shook her head and stood up ‘’Nah, I think I’ll relax playing my guitar’’

Jennie’s ears perked up and sat up immediately ‘’Sing me a song’’ She said it in a demanding tone

Chaeyoung raised her eyebrows in amusement, just finished getting her guitar out ‘’Sure’’ She chuckled and plucked some strings ‘’What song do you want?’’

‘’Hmmmm…’’ Jennie started to think and glanced at Chaeyoung who was waiting for her. She felt determined

‘’It’s time to up my game. I will earn Chaeyoung’s love, there’s no denying it now. I want her to be mine.’’

‘’I’m Yours’’ 

Chaeyoung blinked ‘’I’m Yours?’’

‘’You do know that song right?’’

Chaeyoung giggled and nodded ‘’Yeah, just didn’t expect it.’’

‘’Well I like the lyrics’’ Jennie winked. Chaeyoung cleared , a tint of red evident on her cheeks ‘’W-well here I go’’ Chaeyoung grinned before started plucking the intro of I’m Yours. Jennie smiled and listened to Chaeyoung, her voice music to her ears, relieving the stress inside of her

Well you done done me and you bet I felt it

I tried to be chill but you're so hot I melted

I fell right through the cracks

Jennie would never get tired of that honey-like voice. Chaeyoung singing and playing her guitar made Jennie see another side of Chaeyoung that she loves deeply. It’s like Chaeyoung was pouring out all her emotions in a song, making her look even more

 ‘’Beautiful…’’ Jennie whispered

Chaeyoung blushed and looked away shyly, hiding her face with her hands ‘’Thanks…’’

Jennie was in a trance yet she knows what she was doing, she grabbed Chaeyoung’s hand and put it away from the blushing girl. ‘’Don’t hide yourself’’ Jennie hushed, after removing Chaeyoung’s hand, she placed her own hand to Chaeyoung’s plump cheek.

‘’J-Jennie what are yo-‘’ Chaeyoung stuttered but a finger was placed on her lips, Jennie shushing her

‘’Shhhh hubby quiet’’ Jennie whispered, leaning forward, her forehead touching Chaeyoung’s

Chaeyoung couldn’t do anything, she couldn’t stop the magnet Jennie was using. She stayed quiet, opting to just stare at the cat eyes that are scanning her like an x-ray. She gulped a bit, she could feel her heart palpating quick ‘’Jennie..what are you doing to me?’’ Chaeyoung thought

Is she really ready to like or even love someone?

‘’Oh Chaeyoung…why are you so slow? So dense?’’ Jennie murmured

‘’I…what do you mean wifey?’’ Chaeyoung whispered like they were talking about secrets.

Jennie sighed closing her eyes, their noses finally touching ‘’Chaeyoung…’’

Chaeyoung felt her heart stop, is Jennie really going to..?

‘’I…’’ Jennie opened but then they heard a shout

‘’Chaeyoung! Your girlfriend is here! Come on down!’’

That snapped them out and both of them processed what Chaeyoung’s mother just said

‘’What?!’’

Jennie leaned back and furrowed her eyebrows ‘’Girlfriend?’’ Jennie asked with a suspicious glare. Did Chaeyoung just lied to them about being in a relationship? She looked at the chipmunk-like girl who was also dumbfounded at what she just heard that made Jennie calm down a bit ‘’But why did her mother said her girlfriend?’’

‘’I-I swear I’m not in a relationship right now!’’ Chaeyoung defended herself seeing Jennie’s glare

Jennie crossed her arms and softened her look ‘’Then why did your mother said that’’ Chaeyoung sighed ‘’It could only mean one thing…’’

Both girls went downstairs and they heard familiar voices

‘’M-Mrs Park! It’s not like that anymore’’

‘’Oh why is that dear? I could have sworn that both of you are going strong…is the long distance really too much for you two?’’

‘’N-no it’s just’’

‘’Oh you look so pretty as usual dear. I swear my daughter really knows how to pick them’’

Chaeyoung sports a full-blown blush and finally made her presence known ‘’Mom stop!’’

Chaeyoung’s mom saw her daughter and grinned ‘’Chaeyoung! Come here and greet your girlfriend. Jeez, it’s that the kind of girlfriend you are?’’ Then she looked at the girl she was hugging ‘’Now why didn’t you see Chaeyoung fly back to Australia? She was really devastated when she didn’t see you’’ She said playfully ‘’Not only that, it’s been more than a few weeks since we’ve been here and you just visited now!’’

‘’I-‘’

Chaeyoung sighed ‘’Mom…’’ She said slowly ‘’Jisoo and I aren’t together anymore’’

Jennie fumed, seeing Jisoo…and Lisa inside Chaeyoung’s house. Jisoo being hugged by Chaeyoung’s mother with a panicked face while Lisa looks dumbfounded

‘’Interrupted us…as always’’

Chaeyoung’s mom took on a face of realization ‘’Oh…oh!’’ She exclaimed letting go of Jisoo in surprise

Jisoo blushed in embarrassment and cleared ‘’Uh that’s true Mrs. Park, Chaeyoung and I aren’t together anymore’’ She said awkwardly ‘’Though we are still close friends now.’’

‘’I uhm…sorry about that’’ Chaeyoung’s mom apologized with a shy blush visible on her face

‘’Jeez mom’’ Chaeyoung said hiding her face ‘’This is so awkward…’’

‘’So uhm…what brings you here Jisoo dear?’’ Chaeyoung’s mom said and glanced behind ‘’And who’s your friend?’’ She smiled

‘’Hello Mrs. Park, my name is Lisa, Lisa Manoban’’ Lisa smiled and bowing politely.

‘’Aren’t you cute’’ Chaeyoung’s mom giggled ‘’Nice to meet you too’’ She bowed also

‘’Lisa suggested that the four of us should finish our presentation together’’ Jisoo said, answering the question ‘’We were waiting at Jennie’s house but there was no one in there so we concluded that they’re here so…here we are’’

‘’We waited for hours too…tried texting them but we didn’t get any replies’’ Lisa mumbled to herself. She and Jisoo almost got into a fight because of that but thanks to the food at the café near their neighborhood, they avoided that and thought that maybe they were in Chaeyoung’s house instead of Jennie’s.

Chaeyoung’s mother hummed ‘’Well,you’re always welcome here anytime.’’ Then she put her hand to her chin in thought ‘’Though it’s a shame both of you aren’t together now, you guys always stuck together like glue back then’’ She chuckled

They all laughed nervously especially Chaeyoung and Jisoo. Chaeyoung’s mom then looked at Chaeyoung and Jennie ‘’So who are you with now my dear daughter of mine?’’

Chaeyoung stormed up a full blush ‘’Mom stop it! I’m with no one right now!’’ Her mom laughed enjoying her daughter’s reaction ‘’Is it Jennie dear?’’ She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively

Before Chaeyoung could say anything, she was cut off by Jennie who slang her arm around Chaeyoung’s shoulder and sports a sly smirk ‘’If it’s okay with you Mrs. Park’’ She said sweetly ‘’I’ll gladly make Chaeyoung mine’’

All of them stared at Jennie in shock, unable to believe what just came out from . ‘’Jendeukie has guts. Real guts’’ Jisoo thought, even she can’t say that to Chaeyoung’s mother a year ago when they were together, and her was Jennie already making moves and saying things like to a parent, and they weren’t even together right now!

‘’Wow’’ Chaeyoung’s mom spoke up before looking at the wide-eyes of her daughter ‘’You should keep her dear. She’s bold.’’

‘’Mom!’’

Chaeyoung closed the door of her room, her cheeks sporting a full blush ‘’Sometimes I hate my mom…’’ Chaeyoung murmured and looked at the three girls in front of her. Jisoo looking around her room probably reminiscing the last time she was here while Lisa and Jennie were glaring at each other

‘’Why did you even come here’’ Jennie barked at Lisa who smirked ‘’We needed some help. I thought Chaeyoung or maybe you can help us’’ She said in a sing-along voice

Jennie’s eyes hardened ‘’You did it on purpose’’ Lisa giggled effectively irritating her then she snapped her head to Jisoo ‘’And you!’’

Jisoo finished looking around and asked ‘’What?’’

‘’Why did you support her on this!’’

Jisoo shrugged ‘’If you were in my position you would have agreed too.’’

‘’What did she do?’’

‘’She whined on me last night until the morning.’’ Jisoo answered ‘’Now tell me, who wouldn’t be annoyed at that? She woke me up by continuously ringing my phone!’’

Jennie looked at the grinning Lisa who has a bit of eyebags on her eyes ‘’You’re unbelievable’’

Lisa just continued grinning ‘’I do things like that for the people I love’’ She said then glanced at Chaeyoung who was watching their interaction in amusement

Chaeyoung caught on Lisa’s stare at her and coughed ‘’W-well, is there anything we can do to help then?’’ ‘’Can they stop making me blush…I’m so confused right now’’

Jennie was about to snap but Lisa cut her off ‘’I really got to practice my rapping skills again’’ Jennie cursed in her mind.

Lisa immediately clung to Chaeyoung’s arm ‘’Well our report is about the ecosystem and we need some professional help’’ She winked at Chaeyoung who giggled at her ‘’I’m no professional Lisa’’

Jennie grumbled watching the two girls talk ‘’Just why did you need our help? You alone can do this report alone’’ She whispered harshly to Jisoo

Jisoo rolled her eyes ‘’Just how many times do I have to say that a whining Lisa is like torturing me to death’’

‘’Figures’’

Jennie sighed and observed the two closely. She gritted her teeth whenever Lisa would find excuses to touch Chaeyoung, not only that, seems to have endless of stories that makes Chaeyoung giggle whatever that is ‘’Oh I’m going to help alright’’ Jennie thought deviously. Like she said, she’s not going to let anyone get Chaeyoung.
