Reluctantly Gyu eventually allowed Yeol to re-enter the dorm, forcing him onto his knees, "Will you behave properly?"

"Yes sir, i'll behave," Yeol pleaded - arms raised like a convict.

"Alright then..you're un-fired..for now." The room fell quiet again - trying to recuperate from all the excitement. Alas, that silence yielded the subtle whimpers of Infi stirring awake.

"Oh ," Myungsoo cursed.

"What was that sound," one of their managers asked as the other slowly walked towards the hallway closet.

Quickly Myungsoo jumped up and ran to block the doorway, "Our puppy! We got a puppy, hyung!" he tried to cover.

"A toy puppy." Hoya improvised, "Something must've fallen and switched it on. I'll turn her back off." He squeezed into the closet to silence Infi.

"That.." confused, "didn't sound like a dog."

"No, it doesn't." Gyu interjected, "Honestly, you'd think toy companies would've figured out by now how to manufacture fake pets that can produce authentic sounds... it was pretty cheap, though"

"Yeah it's cries are really horrible, and mechanic-sounding" Woohyun added.

"Kind of like a banshee," Myungsoo noted.

"And once she starts she never shuts up!" Jong continued.

"She makes my ears bleed," Woohyun confessed.

"We should really get rid of it," Yeol bluntly stated - ending the complaints.

"Ok..i'll buy it.." the manager side-eyed his companion, "In any case, I see that you're all exhausted and it is already late, so we'll cancel the rest of your schedules today. Be up be 5am tomorrow, or else." They both warned the members and left. Everyone released a huge sigh of relief once both managers willingly left their dorm. 

Minutes passed in awkward uncertainty until Myungsoo broke the silence only to complain, "I just realized how hungry I am.." letting it sink in that none of them had eaten since they brought Infi home. 

"Ngh.." Dongwoo scratched his stomach, "what's for breakfast?" he mumbled - finally starting to wake up.

Everyone stared at Woohyun, "leftovers and cereal unless I get help," he replied.

"I'll eat anything right now," Yeol began walking to the kitchen. And thus, they ate anything they each found.

"Here's the plan. We'll split up into teams. Myungsoo, Hoya and Sungjong will disguise themselves and go shopping for everything we may need. Nothing too extravagant or big, though. We don't want to be too obvious, like a large cradle. Or too loud like an annoying choo-choo train. Meanwhile," Gyu continued, "Woohyun and I will take Infi to see the doctor. Lastly, Dongwoo and Sungyeol will have an impromptu guerilla date at Dongdaemun to distract any Inspirit from catching on."

"Yeah and it's already late, so it may actually work out," Dongwoo praised Gyu's plan.

"Ok, but what do we buy?" Hoya asked.

"Things like diapers, formula, a pacifier, a high chair, and baby proofing supplies," Jong quickly listed off, and Gyu knew he'd made the right decision choosing Jong for the task.

"And a car seat," Myungsoo added.

"Ok and, what stores are even open this late?" Hoya questioned the others.

"Ah.." Gyu didn't know either, "I'll google it. I'm sure something's open. Maybe a thrift store, or a place where we can rent all of the supplies." 

"No, don't rent anything! Who knows who had it before! They might get Infi sick!" Myungsoo insisted.

"Hmm.." Gyu really didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a kid that they'd only have for a week or so, but he didn't want to fight with a sick baby if he could help it either. 

"Maybe CPS will refund us some of the expenses," Dongwoo wondered out loud. 

"..Maybe..Here, this baby store's open 24 hours," He handed Jong his phone. Jong took it and wrote down the address.

"Ok, let's all meet back here by midnight."

An hour later in a store similar to Babies R Us, the three members quickly grabbed a large cart and made their way to the far end of the store. Considering the older two had vetoed Sungjong's pre-made list, they'd cover the store's entirety and pick what's necessary as they go. 

"It looks like we're in the food section, "Jong pointed out, "formula is.. here," He walked over to an entire aisle of different food brands.

"Which one should we choose?" Myungsoo gawked.

"Uhh.. find one that says--" Jong attempted to answer him, "I..have no clue.." 

Hoya scanned the aisle left to right before pointing out that the further down, the higher the age range was, "Let's choose one from this side because Infi looks like she's only 1 (in Korean age = so only a few months old). 

"Liquid or powder? Organic? Do we buy synthetic milk?" Jong mused.

"Let's..ask someone.." Hoya mumbled.

"No, we can't. We'll get found out." Myungsoo reasoned.

"Oook then I choose this one," Jong declared, "It says that it's 'Mom's #1 Choice'..and choosing it now is no worse than if we spend hours debating which one is perfect." 

"True. Let's get a different one too. Just in case Infi doesn't like one of them. This one's banana flavored. I'll grab it," Myungsoo agreed. 

"Ok, I think that's enough food for two weeks. Let's see what's in the next aisle," Hoya suggested.

"Oh, I see highchairs," Myungsoo ran off to grab one.

"Ah! Bottles and pacifiers," Jong took off in the same direction.

"Ok, I guess i'll look over here," Hoya took the cart to the other side of the aisle. Bibs, bowls, utensils and squeeze pouches. "Hey kids, let's get some of these," He showed the pouches to Myungsoo and Sungjong, "we can put the formula inside and she can it out without making a huge mess," like tipping a bowl over. He read the instructions out loud, "It looks easy enough."

"Whoah, Gyu'll be thankful!" No mess = a happy leader.

After collecting a satisfactory amout of food goods Myungsoo then peered across the wall, "It looks like furniture is next, but Gyu said not to get her a crib--."

"Whoah, there's one with a changing table connected to it!" Jong excitedly ran towards it, "It's so cute. Infi will love it!"

"Yeah, but hyung said not to. We should just get a floor-mat and some bamboo wives to line it, instead (inside of a box - similar to their make-shift crib at home). She can barely crawl, so we don't need huge bars yet." 

Hoya scanned the aisle, "but still, a crib is a necessity.. and I think I see a small one with a hood down there. Gyu can't get mad at us if it's that little." The two youngest followed Hoya towards the crib, "And look, it's got wheels on it, so it doubles as a stroller." As he pulled it out he noticed that the crib, in fact, had a detachable bar that  turned the bed into a hybrid crib-stroller - with small stoppable wheels. He looked up at the other two, "It's light too." 

"I like it," Myungsoo picked the red crib up and tossed it up and down twice, "Let's get it."

"Hey should we get a baby monitor?" Jong suddenly asked prompting Hoya and Myungsoo to exchange looks, "Maybe, I guess. There's seven of us, so it may not be too necessary."

"I think it is, "Jong walked off to grab one, regardless of any future protests.

"Oh Hyung, look that chair over there's shaped like a hamburger!" Myungsoo took off running. "There's a frog, too, and a sheep and bears!"

"Myung, I don't think Infi's old enough to sit up straight for long by herself yet.." Hoya laughed.

"So what, she'll grow into it!" He protested and threw a round purple unicorn-shaped chair into their cart. And yes, he deliberately chose the purple one because then Hoya'd have to agree.

Several aisles later Jong ran back to the front of the store to grab a second cart, "Don't you two think that we're getting too much."

"It's not too much, it's just a few big things..." Myungsoo defended. Big things as in his chair, a bouncer, a car seat, gates to form a play area, and of course various toys and adorable outfits.

"Sure.. now if you two don't mind, i'll be over in the health section to get essentials like a baby thermometer, baby wash, baby wipes, diaper rash cream, soothing lotions, and a first aid kit."

"Sheesh, he acts like he didn't contribute to this pile," Myungsoo groaned, "You're responsible too!" He yelled at Jong's back. Jong's response - the middle finger.

Moments later Hoya counted up all their items and estimated that they'd spend well over $2,000. Uh..how much do diapers cost?" He asked Jong.

"An arm and a leg," Jong replied.

Myungsoo gulped, "Umm-- ah! Look, this box is only $27. Let's get ten!"

"That's not too bad," $300 on diapers. Yeah, not too bad.

"Are they soft? They can't give little Infi a rash. How absorbent are they? Will they fit her right" Jong asked all the right questions. No one could answer him though.

...

In the end, everything totaled to just under $4,000, "Well we're broke now."

"You mean our manager's visa card is broke," Myungsoo corrected.

"Now to find out how we'll pay him back or steal his bill statement by next month."

"I'm sure Yeol can do it. He's done worse before, right? I mean, Hyoan's still unaware of the time Yeol imported $2,800 worth of pure Colombian coffee beans with this same card."

"...true.."

Meanwhile, "Hey hyung, how are we suppose to take Infi to see a doctor if we don't know any of her information?" Woohyun asked after they'd already arrived.

"That's simple Woohyun. You've already alerted CPS, so they've told the hospital ahead of time that we're bringing her." 

"It's confidential, right?" Woohyun question, "What if the hospital staff recognizes us?"

"It won't matter. They have to keep confidentiality for both Infi and us, so as long as we don't get caught out in the hallways we'll be fine. Besides, it's not actually legal for CPS to allow us to keep a child in our care without proper inspection so i'm sure Infi's caseworker warned the hospital to keep their mouths' shut. If they know what's good for them."

"Ah, I guess you're right," Woohyun shifted sleeping Infi carefully in his arms.

"Thankfully it's late, so not many people should be here," it was past 9pm already.

"We're ready for you," a nurse greeted as soon as she noticed them, "You're the boys who found the little boy last night, right?"

"Uh, yes, but actually..well..we found out," Woohyun scratched the back of his head, "It's kind of funny, but.." He couldn't bring himself to say it, so Gyu did.

"That's correct. My friend's Woohyun, here, and Dongwoo found her last night, and mistook her for a boy."

The nurse giggled, "Oh well, I guess that happens sometimes. Yes well, follow me and we'll get her checked out."

Woohyun groaned, "did you have to tell her? I was getting there."

"No you weren't," Gyu smirked.

Inside the room they were greeted by an attractive young woman who took Infi from Woohyun's arms, "Alright, let's see," causing Infi to squirmed awake and whimper upon realizing the loss of warmth.

"Oh no no you shouldn't cry little one," the lady soothed Infi, "See, so much better. You're a brave one, aren't you?"

Woohyun looked behind him to see that Gyu had taken a seat and joined him, "tch, she makes it look so easy."

But before Gyu could reply to Woohyun he heard the doctor ask him if Infi was difficult, "She cried all night, and didn't stop until she stole my favorite stuffed animal."

"Oh really? Babies are quite fussy," She teased. "She must like you the best, I bet. Since it was your stuffed animal."

"I'm her favorite?" Gyu leaned forward, his heart rate gently increasing, "really?"

"Ah ha, " Woohyun laughed, "Gyu hyung loves her the best, too," before quickly recoiling defensively before Gyu could hit him. 

Changing the subject away from potential violence, the doctor asked, "So, have we settled on a name yet? Or did she have any identification on her?"

"No, she didn't have anything but puppy pajamas," Woohyun replied, "But we all agreed to name her Infi," he beamed proudly.

"Infi? How cute! Hi Little Infi~" she cooed and tickled Infi's cheek. "Alrighty, let's check Infi's temperature and pulse." A few minutes passed before she finished various tests and confirmed that Infi was a healthy little girl. But she also added, "I should inform you that she appears to be the right age for a couple vaccinations, but I don't think that she's received them."

"She's old enough for shots?" Woohyun gasped," How old is she?"

"Giving her size and development, i'd say she was born 5 to 6 months ago..."

"Whoah," Woohyun and Gyu's jaw dropped in shock - despite Infi's obvious young age. "We didn't realize that she was that young," Gyu confessed. 

"So... do we hold her or distract her, so that you can vaccinate her?" Woohyun reached to steady Infi's back with his hand. 

"Yes please hold her, but don't worry. This won't hurt one bit," she reassured him. "See, watch this," she readied the needle with one hand and grabbed a toy with the other - waving it in front of Infi's face. Infi never even saw the needle coming.

"Bam! One down and one to go!"

Gyu's eyes nearly popped out in awe, "I thought babies hated needles."

"That's true, but it's all in their heads." She progressed in baby talk, "As long as they don't see the big scary needle they don't feel a thing." 

"..I see.."

"And done!" The doctor was a sorceress.. they were convinced. "Now, do you have any questions for me before you go?"

"Can I have your number?" it simply fell out of Gyu's mouth, "Ah! No! No, not like that. I--You're so good with her. I meant to ask if we can have your phone number to call in an emergency?" 

"Yes, of course. I'll write it down for you. Now don't lose it on accident," she joked flirtatiously. 

On the sidelines Woohyun suspiciously watched the two. "On accident?" he muttered under his breath and scowled, before picking Infi up. "Gyu, we should hurry back to the others. It's almost midnight," He rushed Gyu out - choosing to not consider his haste as jealously.

Elsewhere, earlier in the day in Dongdaemun, Yeol and Dongwoo were dancing the Macarena to some Chinese comedian's song in front of a crowd of Inspirits. Followed by a conga line with Inspirits, and accidental karaoke and accidental charades. Their finishing act: running away from a dozen overzealous crazies before they're stripped in public - after their 4th attempt at ending the date. Exhausted, they stumbled into Infinite's dorm - clothes ripped - missing a shoe and covered in dry paint. There was an accidental paintball fight, too. You know what, their entire evening was a fumbling mess of impromptu accidents.

"You bought ten boxes of diapers!? How many times do you expect her to in a few days?" Gyu screeched upon seeing the bill, "Why didn't you just buy the reusable ones?"

*Gulp* Well the manager still haven't found out. Which scene was the best? Woogyu at the doctor's, HoMyungJong's shopping trip or Dongyeol's guerilla date? All the daddy feels are coming, I promise!.

Oh, baby Infi please stay gentle with them. They're still learning,  and they're exhausted.
