Taeyong went to an exhibition  art gallery produced by his close friend. There, he had the chance to visit his artistic side, as there was a free painting session for everyone. His work was an abstract painting which his friend and everybody present praised. Among the people who praised his paintings was Hayi's step mother who was into art exhibitions.

"Omo, if it isn't Taeyong ssi, I didn't know that you're an artist?" Madame Lee was very pleased to see that Teayong is one talented lad. She couldn't erase in her mind that he is auch a great match for Hayi.

"Ahh! Madame Lee, its nice to see you again. I have only been painting as a hobby nowadays. Well, before... I used to paint a lot, but I realized that I  am actually more interested in business. So, I'm onky keeping this as a pasttime" he responded, then he looked around if Hayi was with the madame. Seeing that Taeyong seems to be looking for someone, it only meant one thing for madame Lee, and which is that, this young man here is indeed interested in her step daughter. 

"Taeyong ssi, are you looking for someone?" madame Lee acted as if only to be innocently prying.

Taeyong realized that he was being too obvious, so he decided to come clean. "Ah haha... Well... Actually I thought you came with Hayi, so I was wondering if she's around."

When madame Lee heard this, she became very excited. She felt like a fangirl who needs to ship her two biases. 

"Ahh, is that it? Well, I'm sorry to say Taeyong ssi that our Hayi did not come with me today, she is currently having her weekly meetings with the adminiatrative staff in MS hotel. As you know, it is important for her to know the ins and outs of our hotel business, and MS hotel is her training ground."

Madame Lee felt sad that Hayi did not come with her today, she felt this is a big opportunity for Hayi and Taeyong to know each othere more.

"Oh, well... I see, that's great that she is being a responsible young lady.." Taeyong politely stated, but he himself cannot keep from his face that it made him down, the moment he knew that Hayi was not around.

From the looks of it, madame Lee can clearly see that Taeyong's smile just a moment ago, faded, when she said that Hayi is not with her. The madame thought that she cannot just let this be, she thought that she must do something about this. And so she had an idea.

So, Taeyong could finish his sentence in order to excuse himself, madame Lee beat him to saying it by saying herself that, "However, Taeyong ssi, my Hayi and I will have a lunch date today, and after that we will go to my brother's golf course club for a bit of bonding. My daughter and I have been both so busy lately and had no time for each other. I especially planned this for today. Would you like to join us?"

Madame Lee carefully stated every word, clearly and concisely, that Taeyong's other friend behind him, who is also painting, have heard it.

That certain friend knows that Taeyong would have been bored after the exhibition because he had no plans after, because just earlier that morning Taeyong invited this friend to hangout somewhere but apparently that friend has another important appointment that day.

Since Taeyong did not immediately say anything after yhe madame invited him. This friend of Taryong's entered the conversation between Taeyong and the madame.

He said "Taeyong-ah you don't have plans, why don't you go". When his friend answered for him, Taeyong felt a bit emabrrassed, happy at the same time that he now has the chance to see Hayi.

He now looked at madame Lee and asked "would it be ok if I would go? "

"Of course, I'm inviting you aren't I" madame Lee assured him.

But still, even if madame Lee consented, Taeyong still don't know if it would be ok for Hayi, because he assumed that the initial plan the ladies agreed upon would be a day for themselves as mother and daughter. So he said, "I still don't know maam.... I won't like it if Hayi would think that I'm a nuisance to the both of you. What if she would feel awkward?"

Madame Lee understands Taeyong's concerns, but she is persistent to this fulfill her plans. 

"Taeyong ssi," she said, "don't worry too much, Hayi is an open minded person, she is not one of those girls who would get bitter if they don't get what they want or if they won't have it their way. She is a mature girl, so relax, I assure you that she won't mind" madame Lee sounded so confident that Taeyong has rested his mind a bit and kind of trusted the madame's words.

So then, madame Lee told Taeyong where lunch is gonna be and what time they will be there. When everything was settled, the madame excused herself and bade goodbye because she says that she will have a quick meetup with a friend. 

After leaving the venue, she quickly sent a valet guy for her car. When the car came, she went in, and inside waits secretary Hong. Now, since madame just made up a lunch date appointment with Hayi, she immediately told secretary Hong about the cancellation of her other unnecessary appointments left for the day, which is only comprised of several events and a yoga class.

"But madame, what about miss Hayi? What if she has something else to do?" Secretary Hong reminded her, "I do understand that your schedule may be cleared but we still don't know if miss Hayi will cancel hers" the secretary continued.

"Just tell Hayi's assistant to cancel it all, tell the assistant that the order comes from me. And as for Hayi, I will call her myself for my reasons" Madame Lee tone of voice reeks persistence and will to make this appointment happen. She thought 'we better grab this opportunity as there may be no other chance in the future. Oh, I do hope that it would not come to that'. 

Secretary Hong observed how much this arrangement mattered for madame Lee, so she wasted no time at all and immediately called Hayi's assistant, and all of those who are needed to be notified of the cancelled schedules in the schedule that is to be given by Hayi's assistant. 

Madame Lee was about to call Hayi, however she changed her mind, she thought that it would be absolutely better if she would go personally to tell her daughter why she had to do it. Know
