That Night

"It's all my fault... If I was strong enough.... if I didn't say no to him that night... you wouldn't have gone through that... I'm so sorry hyung.... so sorry!... Yet I was relieved to know that you weren't at your house that night.... Siwon was angry when he knew you were alright... he meant to harm you.....he beat the hell out of me that time... but I didn't care... I was so happy you were alright... I can handle the beating, I can handle the pain... but I can never handle losing you hyung... never...." 

Jaejoong sobbed harshly.

"Jae-yah!" 

Heechul walked to him taking Yunho's place as he moved to give them some space. 

"I'm so sorry... so sorry..." 

Heechul took the sobbing man in his arms crying with him. 

"Shsh.. it's not your fault dongsaengie...." 

"Siwon hated you so much... because you knew what was going on... I was so scared that he would hurt you hyung... everytime he knew that you took me to a hospital, he would yell at me saying that he is going to kill you... I was so scared..." 

Jaejoong clinged to Heechul who hugged him tight. 

"I'm so sorry Jae-yah... I should have known... I'm sorry" 

"No hyung... It's not your fault.... " 

Jaejoong said looking up at Heechul with a gentle smile... 

"I'm glad you are still with me hyung... I would have died if anything happened to you..." 

"Oh Jaejoongie..." 

Heechul caressed the tear stained cheek. 

"I'm sorry I avoided you many times... It felt horrible to hear you knock repeatedly on the door and call for me... I wanted so bad to open it and tell you to help me out, to take me away.... But, I couldn't risk getting him angry especially at you..."
