Chapter Eighteen

 Battlefield 2

Previously:

"What? no! why would you think so?" 

Ara looked at them in surprise, shyness and worried all in one face..  

'because of the way you talk to me' 

Jaejoong thought before he answered politely. 

"Did I perhaps misunderstood what you mean?" 

"Of course!"  

Ara said chuckling in a cute way looking at Yunho who watching them in amuse. 

Suddenly everyone was talking to each other again, Jaejoong released a sigh looking at his husband angrily... but that anger faded away when Yunho's warm hand cupped his cold sweaty one under the table squeezing it in assurance.

The party went on as some of the important guests gave speeches.. Jaejoong listened well paying attention to every word said as charity for children especially the sick ones is something he encourage, but he didn't miss the curious eyes that kept staring at him through the party. 

After the speeches were done, the waiters came with small plates of desserts, and some coffee that Jaejoong appreciated so much hoping the rest of the party would go smoothly... but Go Ara wasn't going to give up. 

"I don't think Yunho will want you to continue to work..." 

"I gave my resignation letter out of my own decision, besides Yunho and I may work on a project together" 

Jaejoong answered calmly, laying his hand on his husband's arm smoothly, looking at the actress in the eyes. 

"Oh, Like Yunho's Projects for children in need?" 

Ara spoke sweetly to Yunho before looking at Jaejoong sharply yet with a smile. 

"Or.. are you planning to have more kids?" 

'!' 

Jaejoong cursed her in his head, keeping calm deciding to ignore her, but she went on. 

"Oh I'm so sorry, Jaejoong-shi! I forgot you can't bear children.... My mistake.. I'm truly sorry!" 

She said making a sad face looking at Jaejoong in pity. 

"We have Jiyool" 

Yunho said calmly ending the subject. 

"Oh, of course the sweet little Jiyoolie.... That's nice! Yunho got a wife and a nanny to his daughter at the same time!" 

"Yes."  

Yunho answered with the same cold tone. 

"But Yunho dear, we met last week... you didn't mention getting married..." 

Ara asked Yunho sweetly before looking at Jaejoong smirking at him. 

'They were together last week?'  

Jaejoong felt his heart hurt thinking of these two together. 

"I don't find any reason to tell others about my personal plans" 

Yunho's voice came cold making Jaejoong look up at his sharp face looking at the actress while answering. 

"You could have told me..." 

Ara whined not getting the message to stop. 

"No!" 

Yunho said sharply looking  at her sharply. 

"Ok then, will you excuse me.... I'll go have some coffee with Dongwook" 

Ara said walking away from the table.
