Plot: When Mark and Seunghee can't confess their feelings to one another because of their relationship

Mark felt warmth from the sunlight touch his skin. He turned in bed, stretching his muscles. Incorehent mumbles left his mouth, and when he realized that he was awake, he slowly opened his eyes. He smiled at the first thing his eyes caught. Sleeping right besides him peacefully was the most beautiful girl he ever laid eyes on, Han Seunghee. His heart could not help but beat so fast early in the morning. Their relationship was one that simple yet so complicated. It was simple because they were just bed buddies who slept together; it was complicated because Mark had grown feelings toward the girl he promised not to love.

Seunghee started to stir in bed. The sun's brightness hit her eyes, causing her to open them. Her body ached from last night's event, but she was not complaining. She loved how Mark knew her body so well, what she wanted and liked. She found Mark staring at her, and she smiled. He ree as well. "Good morning," he greeted softly.

"Morning," sighed Seunghee.

They decided to lay in silence for a few more minutes, just admiring each other when Seunghee then spoke up.

"Should we go get breakfast?" she asked.

She felt Mark's body pressed up against her. His body felt warm and comforting, making her want to experience the previous night over again, having her forget the question she had just asked two seconds ago. Mark also noticed how their bare bodies touched. His hormones began to heighten. "Should we..." he hesitated. "Should we do something before that?" He then leaned in and kissed Seunghee deeply. He ran a hand down her body, and she moaned his name, initiating a morning workout.

Mark sensed a pain in his chest again as soon as he and Seunghee finished ordering breakfast from Butterfingers. The two sat across each other in the breakfast spot. He continued to watch the excited girl while she went on about her new job. She spoke about her co-workers, and the atmosphere, and the pay, but Mark was not really listening. Is it really impossible for us to be together, Mark pondered. From friends with benefits to lovers, he knew how difficult that would turn out to be. He doubted that Seunghee felt the same way. When he found out that he had liked her, the feelings he expressed in bed was also real, not casual though Seunghee would never think that. "Mark." He snapped out of his thoughts and looked up when he heard his name being called.
