"Oppa," A soft voice whispered, causing the resting man to open his eyes. Seok Jin smiled wearily, his hands trembling as he raised it to his wife's cheek. Her gentle and loving eyes filled him up with strength. He closed his eyes as he breathed deeply. "Oppa, I've brought food. Chicken soup to be exact."

"Thank you, Jaerin." Seok Jin managed out, his eyes fluttering open as he tried to stay awake, "I'm sorry you have to go through this."

"Don't." His wife's tone was stern, "Don't you dare say that again."

Seokjin laughed breathlessly before racking up some uncontrollable coughing. He felt bad. He felt like a burden to his wife. If only he wasn't stuck with this illness, she wouldn't be needing to work 24/7 just to earn enough money to pay the hospital bills. Jaerin on the other hand, didn't care at all if she needed to work all the time. The only thing she cared about was her husband's wellbeing. 

Cautiously, she helped Seokjin sit up and then proceeded to feed him the chicken soup. "Thanks, dear."

Jaerin laughed softly, "It's okay, oppa."

"I love you so much, you know?" 

"I love you too, oppa."

"Please?" Seok Jin pleaded, his hands clasped together as he sat in his hospital bed, his puppy eyes begging the nurse in front of him. The nurse sighed, his hand massaged his temple. 

"You know you can't, hyung." The nurse objected, picking his clipboard up from the table. 

Seok Jin pouted, "Please, Ji Min? You know how bad I feel about this. I just want to surprise Jaerin. Just this once. Please?"

"Fine, just make sure you be back before dinner okay?" Ji Min sighed, shaking his head at the older man, "And please be safe hyung."

Seok Jin nodded, smiling thankfully at the younger boy, "Thank you, Ji Min."
