Tiny Complications (Bobby)
Wait For Me ~Boy Group Oneshots~Written by: tofujagi
“I don’t want to argue with you right now,” Subin stated, keeping her eyes on the floor.
Bobby took a heavy breath and set his jaw. “Then don’t argue with me. Just tell me what’s going on.”
Subin did not want to talk to him right now, but he seemed pretty persistent. She glanced up at Bobby. He stared back at her with his intense eyes. She knew that he cared about her problems, but she was not the type to create burdens for others by involving them. She scoffed. “It’s not something for you to worry about…”
She tried to step aside to pass through Bobby, but he only blocked her. He sighed. “If you’d tell me, I’d know, and we wouldn’t be doing this right now. You’re my girlfriend, Subin. I need to know. Why haven’t you been attending your training?”
Bobby worried for Subin ever since she stopped attending practice. He even overheard her own team talk about her. She entered Yang Hang Suk’s office about a week ago, too. It concerned Bobby.
“It’s not for you to know, so why do you keep on butting in? Maybe if you stopped interfering then it wouldn’t be that difficult for you.”
When Subin realized her harsh words, it was a second too late. Hurt flashed across Bobby’s face, but he tried his best to not show it. “Fine…” he muttered. “I won’t in anymore.” He stepped aside and turned back around, returning to his group’s studio.
Subin sighed as she watched his back get smaller. She knew how mad Bobby probably was at her, but she couldn’t bring herself to tell him about her troubles. He had his own worries already.
“Aish, why are girls so complicated?!” Bobby yelled out after listening to the new track he helped B.I with.
B.I laid further back into his chair and laughed at his older friend. “What’s wrong, Bobby hyung? Something up with you and Subin?”
“I don’t even know. She hasn’t been attending practice recently, and she’s also been ignoring me. I tried to see if I can help though she just brushes me off.”
“Maybe she just doesn’t want to feel embarrassed….” B.I guessed.
Bobby raised a brow at B.I. and scooted closer to him. “You seem like you know something. What is it?”
B.I shrugged as he replayed the track again, at a lower volume this time. “It’s not something I know. I don’t know whether it’s true or not, but apparently, Subin’s team didn’t do all that good for their monthly evaluation. Her members predict that she might be leaving soon, either back home o
