When his company decided to allow WINNER to head home to visit their family for Chuseok, Taehyun hurried back to his family’s residence right away. His mother and younger brother greeted him warmly and notified that the next day would be their celebration for Chuseok with their extended family while today would just be a rest day for him. “Aigoo, my son,” Taehyun’s mother said as she caressed his hair. “How have you been? You became more handsome now. Have you been watching your health and getting enough sleep?”

“Not really,” Taehyun admitted, but he smiled. “I’m fine though, Mom. I’m happy I get to spend Chuseok with you and Donghyun.”

Donghyun patted his brother on the back. “We’re not the only one’s you’re seeing today.”

“What do you-“

Just then, a knock appeared on the door, and Taehyun’s mother reached to open the door. Shock and joy ran through Taehyun when he noticed who stood at the entrance. Standing with a warm smile on her face was his girlfriend of four months, Lee Yoojin. Because he was from a big company, he needed to be extra careful so that no one would catch him in a relationship. Truthfully, it was pretty difficult that he thought about breaking up with Yoojin in order to focus on his career… but he liked Yoojin too much for that. He even kept the secret from his company and group members.

Yoojin greeted Taehyun’s family members. “Hello Eumeonim. Donghyun-ah.”

She then entered the house and turned her attention to her boyfriend. Yoojin always cherished time spent with Taehyun, and this time was no different. She ran into his arms for a quick hug. A whiff of his cologne could be detected. “You’re looking well,” she said after the hug.

“I missed you,” Taehyun confessed.

“Me too.”

Donghyun snickered at his brother’s cheesiness, and his mother ushered everyone into the living room. “Let’s sit down, kids.”

Taehyun, Yoojin, and Donghyun all placed themselves on the couch next to each other. A variety show played on TV, but Yoojin and Taehyun paid more attention to each other instead, feeding each other the fruits that Taehyun’s mother set for them. “You look tired,” Yoojin pointed out as she held a slice of apple to Taehyun’s mouth.

Taehyun ate the apple and answered back, “Do I? I should take a shower to wake myself up.”

He stood up from the couch.
