Plot: When Jungkook & Eunmi competes for first rank in school

Hands drummed on the desks as the students awaited to hear the student with the best test score. The boys placed their bets on Jung Junkook while the girls wagered that Jang Eunmi would have the higher grade. Eunmi crossed her fingers under her desk. Ever since she started high school, she always ended up stuck with Jungkook in the same class. Her class rank dropped down to number two from that day. First since elementary, and first since middle school, but now all of a sudden, she had tough competition.

Eunmi could not stand to be number two when it was so close to being first. She wanted to be the best, so she thought of Jungkook as a rival. Jungkook watched Eunmi from behind. The teacher walked down their aisle and handed Eunmi her test paper faced down. Eunmi turned back and waited for Jungkook's test paper to be returned. When it reached his possession, Eunmi turned back to her paper. Please be a perfect, Eunmi prayed as she grabbed the side.

Once she flipped it, Eunmi saw the written red number. Her heart dropped. 95.

Everyone then looked over at Jungkook who proudly raised his paper with a 98 on it. The males stood up and cheered, and Jungkook high-fived some of his classmates. "It's okay, Eunmi," one the girls consoled. "You still did better than the rest of us. You made the second best grade."

"Yeah," Jungkook joked from his seat. "Second...like she always is."

He's right. I'm tired of losing to him. I'll definitely have to beat him next time, Eunmi vowed before she turned back around to the front of the classroom and listened attentively to the teacher's lesson.

"Hey, Jang Eunmi!" Jungkook yelled as he caught up with the right near the school gates after school. "Where are you heading?"

"Home to study," she answered honestly. "What is it that you want?"

"You're really going to study? That's all I ever see you d
