Mark snapped his fingers when he remembered what he needed to do. He found the small mirror on the wall and checked his appearance for the fifth time that hour. Hair? Perfect. He smoothed it down again. Clothes? Perfect. He straightened the green-and-blue plaid shirt, so that it would look presentable. Cologne? Perfect. He had sprayed ETERNITY by Calvin Klein, the scent that Jaekyung loved on him. Smile? He grinned, and his pearl-like teeth shone in the mirror. Finally he clasped his hands together. "So far so good," he said to himself.

Jaekyung found Mark in front of his house when she reached the location. Though her feet hurt because of the wedges that she wore and the distance that she walked, Jaekyung was happy to finally see what kind of surprise Mark had threw for her. He called her two days ago and told her to come over all dressed up nice. She walked up the steps where Mark waited.

"You look so beautiful," he complimented as he looked at her turquoise dress and white wedges. He did not pay attention to the things she wore most of the time, for she looked good in anything. No matter what color or style of her clothes, she looked like the most beautiful angel to him.

Jaekyung smiled. "Thank you."

She greeted him with a hug and detected the masculine cologne he wore. It was a warm, woodsy smell that suited him nicely. He opened the door and allowed her to enter first. When Jaekhyung stepped into the house, she heard a small bark, and a small Maltese scurried over to her. "Manggie," she cooed at the small pup and knelt down, "I've missed you, boy. You've gotten so cute."

Manggie let out another yelped and wagged his tail. He Jaekyung's hand. Jaekyung petted him a few more times before she stood up and looked over at Mark. "So, what did you call me out for tonight?" she asked him.

He only returned a smirk and a short answer. "You'll see."

Mark led Jaekyung to the patio and told her to wait for him while he finished things up. Manggie waited outside with her. Jaekyung laughed at the sight of the energetic puppy as he ran around in circles chasing his own tail. Her phone buzzed with a reply from a friend. She continued to text back that friend back and forth when she heard the door open, and Mark came out.​
