Plot: When Leo hasn't shown affection towards Inna for 2 years since they dated, causing Inna to frustrated & ask to break up.
"If that's how you're going to be, then I guess I'd rather we end it here right now." Inna grabbed her bags and stormed out of the apartment. Once she stepped inside the elevator, she leaned against the wall and sighed. She knew Leo's personality well. He spoke little, and when he spoke, his expression would be poker-faced. Other people who did not know him well took it the wrong way.
They thought of him as rude because he did not make an effort to engage with others, but it was never that. Leo knew how to listen to people what the rest of the world would only hear. He paid careful attention - actions as well as words. He understood. His appearance might be cold, but he was not heartless. Inna knew that.
Dating Leo for two years though, even she started to become a little distressed. She was his girlfriend, so it would be appreciative if he would sometimes show her some of his devotion. She wanted to touch him, to hold his hand, to cuddle and kiss him. He never did that once. Not even an "I love you." Inna thought it would have been right to give him some time, but two years was too long.
She stepped out of the elevator when it opened and continued out of the apartment. The wind blew in the night, sweeping her long hair. Her heels clicked as she walked on the pebbled ground to the nearest bus stop. A thought she feared of so long found its way into her head: maybe Leo did not love her anymore.
Back at the apartment, Leo stared at the photo by the TV for what seemed like hours. It was a photo of himself and Inna on his birthday last year. His mien was the same, chic, but Inna showed the same bright smile that made him attracted to her. She's gone, he thought to himself. He hid his face in his hands and grasped the ends of his hair. "She's gone..." he whispered, "and I let her walk away..."
