C hapter. 31

Official Us

Your's POV

     I wake up like i always do, doing morning activities like this past years, yet today was different. I feel refreshed, i feel so happy that i could die. Just yesterday both of us confessed to each other and now we're official. I was jump out of my bed as i skip happily to my bathroom, preparing for the day. Just for today, i comb my hair multiple times and let it loose on my back. I stare at the mirror as my lips twisted upward, "Wow, Hyemi. I couldn't believe this is you. You're insane." I muttered to myself before i walk out of the bathroom.

     A car honk could be hear and that's when i stop doing any activities i was doing, it's definitely not Chanyeol's. My eyes widden, i just realise that i forgot to tell Baekhyun not to pick me up today. I grab my bag and phone quickly as i run downstairs to grab a toast, as i wait for the toast i unlock my phone screen and search for Chanyeol's contact, i message him.

     Hyemi : Ya giant! Don't come to pick me up, i forgot to tell Baek oppa so now he's infront of my house. I'm going to school with him then.

     The toast finished as i send the meesage, i grab the toast and place some butter on it before holding it with my teeth and run to the entrance of my house. I wear my shoes before holding the toast away from my mouth. "Umma! I'm going now!" I yelled and run out of my house when i heard a yes from my mom who was in the kitchen.

     I enter the car and was greet with Baekhyun who was smilling, "Morning!" He greet and i smile in return, "Morning, oppa!" I beam as a side of his lips twisted upward, "I see someone is happy today and you even loose your hair, strange. Mind telling me what happened?" He smirked as he start the engine and drive off to the school, i stuck out a tongue at him. "Nope. I'll tell you at once with EXO K too." I smile before checking my phone, i unlock the screen when i saw a message reply. "And why is that?" Baekhyun asked, yet i was too focus on my phone that i couldn't hear him, i end up ignoring him unintentionally.

     Chanyeol : WHAT?! You're so mean, babe. I'm just on my way there. T_T And you even call me 'giant'? We're dating now, right? ('-')

     I wasn't aware that i let out giggles when i read his message, he's just so cute with the emoticons too. Baekhyun turn to look at me, raising one of his eyesbrow, yet i was still focussing on my phone to realise his stare. Don't blame me, Chanyeol comes first in every way. I know, i know, i'm mean. I bit my lower lips to prevent me from smiling as wide as an idiot before i start typing my reply to .

     Hyemi : We are? Oh.. really?

     It just took some secons before my phone start beeping again as the sign of coming messages, i start grinning while chatting with him all way to school. It's like the world is ours and we're like in different place as we type messages. I keep smiling non stop as we chat, i don't even know how he did it while driving to the school too.

     Chanyeol : Ya! You meany! I confessed yesterday didn't i? And you did too! How could you do this to me!! (T^T)

     Hyemi : Sorry~ I'm just teasing you~

     Chanyeol : Fine, i'll forgive you only if you call me oppa! ><

     Hyemi : Ew ew.. not it a million years! Anything else but that.

     Chanyeol : -_-

     I don't know why but i start blushing. I can't imagine myself calling him oppa around him, infront of my friends, infront EXO K, not to mention, infront of all students in our school. Hell no. My face will be red non stop if i ever did that, yet his reply make me soften. Should i call him oppa? But.. geez.

     Hyemi : come on~

     Chanyeol : -_- no

     Hyemi : But you're only older by a few months, calling you oppa is wierd.

     Chanyeol : Fine :( But stop calling me with un-romantic pet names!

     Hyemi : So what should i call you? Sweetiepie?

     Chanyeol : -_- What the..

     Hyemi : Hunny bunny?

     Chanyeol : -_-

     Hyemi : Cutiepie? Prince charming? Love? Baby boo?

     Chanyeol : Oh my god, Hyemi. That's disgusting.

     Hyemi : Babe?

     Chanyeol : YES! THAT'S IT!

     Hyemi : Uhh.. no.

     Chanyeol : -_____-

     I laughed by his reply and that's when i feel someone tapping my shoulder, i turn my head and found Baekhyun wriggling his eyebrows. "So, who're you texting?" He smirk and my face turn red, "You s-saw?" I shuttered as i hide my phone. Baekhyun rolled his eyes, "I didn't saw anything, i just hear you giggling, laughing, not to mention, you smile widely all way to school. And lastly but not least, you ignore me." He pout and i couldn't help but laugh and patted his head. "I told you, oppa. I'll tell you once we're in EXO K." I said as i look out of the window, we had arrived. Not to mention, he already park the car.

    "Well, i had called you severals time saying that we had arrive, yet you ignore me. It happen for about, hmm.. 15 minutes. Yeah, that long." He tease while shrugging his shoulder. I couldn't help but blush and muttered a sorry before i step out of his car, i heard his chuckled behind me before he leave his car too. We walk into the school and surprissingly EXO K were in my class.

     "Oppa! What are you guys doing here?" I grin as i skip there with Baekhyun following behind me and there i found Chanyeol pouting while he was sitting on Baekhyun's seat. "So, i think you need to explain us something, Song Hyemi." EXO K start smirking and smiling like a buns of idiots, i blink several times before they roll their eyes. "This giant here just told us a shocking news, and i know you know what it is." Kyungsoo smirk followed by Sehun's nod, "Yes, hyung just told me-" He stop before clearing his throat and giggled in excitement.

    "You two are dating!!!" He squeak.

    I start blushing madly that i didn't realise Baekhyun's eyes widden in shock, "Really?" He shuttered and Sehun close his mouth with both of his hands in a speed of light, little did i know, he knew about Baekhyun's feeling towards me. "Uhm, yeah. We're dating now." I blushed. Inside of me, i could feel this sting feeling called guilt. I start feeling guilty toward Baekhyun, but i had told him that i love Chanyeol not him.

    "Wow, Hyemi ah. Congrats! Finally he return your feeling!" He smile, yet there's something odd on his smile and i just force a smile in return. "Thanks, oppa. That's what i wanted to tell you when we're in your car." I said as he nod in understanding, none of EXO K talk because they know Baekhyun so well. "So i guess, i don't need to pick you up in the morning anymore?" He asked as i nod and he nod back. One word to describe this situation, awkward.

     "Oh well, Chanyeol ah. We can switch seats, so you can be together." He winked at Chanyeol, yet it's still feel odd. Without waiting for Chanyeol reply, Baekhyun walk away to Chanyeol's seat, which was beside Sara who hasn't show up. I gulped as i turn to look at EXO K who was staring back at me, they shrugged. "Don't worry. Just leave him for now, he'll get over it in no time." Kai whisphered as all of us nodded in agreement, well, i hope so.

    Then Suho rest his arm on my shoulder, "But i can't believe you fell for that pea-brain giant! You could get yourself a smart-handsome guy, like me." He joked and Chanyeol whined. "Ya! Hands off now!" He pout as Suho put both of his hands up while chuckling, "And more manly than him." He continue and all of us laugh. I put my bag on the table before i take a sit beside Chanyeol's new seat.

     We keep talking and laughing together, and all of us will take a peek on Baekhyun who was resting his head between his crossed arms on his table every minutes. We continue talking until i feel something poking my hand before it grab my hand and interlace it together, i turn silent as a blush creep up on my cheeks. I turn to look at my side and found Chanyeol smiling at me with a hint of blush too. I return his smile shyly before i lower my head.

    I heard EXO K fake some coughes, "I think the air conditioner is off. Don't you feel hot, Maknae?" Kyungsoo asked as he fan his face with his hand, Sehun nod. "Yeah, Hyung. It's soooo hot." He pretend to wipe sweats on his forehead as both Chanyeol and i blush harder. They found out about our interlace hands i assume. "Let's just leave this new couple alone then, kids! Need some fresh air where no love in it." Suho chuckled. Soon all of EXO K bid us goodbye before they leave our class.

     I keep my head low as Chanyeol fake a cough, "So, they know this." He was talking about of hands as i nodded shyly, he chuckled. "How in the world the furious Hyena turn into this shy little girl?" He tease and i lift my head up, i pout as i turn to look at him. "I'm not little!" I whined and he just give me his boyish smile and patted my head, that just make me blush harder.

     Suddenly Sara appear behidn the door and walk to her seat just to frown seeing Baekhyun sleeping on Chanyeol seat, she turn to my direction and our eyes meet. I could see hurt in it when she saw Chanyeol beside me, yet she ignore it before sitting on her chair, not even once she turn around to look at us. It's awkward as both of us stare at Baekhyun and Sara's back, they aren't talking too.

    Luckily, the teacher walk in the class in minutes and the awkward feeling vanished. Soon, the lesson start with our hands still interlace with each others. We didn't release it until the end of the lesson. And i love it this way.
