"So there's this guy, and he kept bashing on Tae Min," Hara said. We were out on the garden for lunch. After what I told to Hara in the park, the next week after that, she just started hanging out with me and Seung Hyun. Every day, she just comes to our room, even after school, she goes home with the two of us. While we were eating, me and her were talking about the funny moments we had in the park. 

"Yea, they were even talking so loud, that I even felt embarrassed just by standing next to Hara." I said, feigning sadness.

"Then I thought of a plan to shut them up. I took Tae Min's hand and acted lovey dovey with him. They totally fell for it." She laughed.

"Eh?!!" Seung Hyun asked, looking stunned.

"Yes." Me and Hara said in unison. 

We also told me about the different rides we tried together. Seung Hyun got so caught up with it, that he begged us to go with him. He literally protested like a little kid when I told him no. Going to the park means, going to the torture again. I still don't want to die yet. 

"Please. C'mon Tae Min, don't be a baby. Being in high places won't kill you."

I didn't answer.

"Seung Hyun, stop. You need to understand Tae Min. You need to understand that a little baby can't handle those big rides." Slightly mimicking a baby voice on her last line. 

"Whatever." I said, pissed. I stood up and walked out on them.

"Wait dude, c'mon, we're sorry. We won't do it again. But please think about it?" Seung Hyun looked, batting his eyelashes.

"You're disgusting." I smirked.

"Please, just  this once?" Kara said.

"Can't just the two of you go instead."

"EIWH! Then a lot of people would think I'm going out with a nymph." Seung Hyun said, looking disgusted.

"Who would even date a cockroach-brain like you?" Hara rebutted.

And their fight went on 'til the bell rang. They are still rough about each other, but at least they're trying, but the good side is, they stopped badgering me about going to the park with them. 

After our class, I bid goodbye to Seung Hyun and told him I'm going to the library.

"Just tell Hara sorry I couldn't come with the two of you today."

"Arasso arasso. Don't be worried, although, I don't know if I can take my 10 minute ride with her."

"Please, just try to understand her."

"Ne." He nodded.

When I got to the library, I put down my bag and went to the shelves to get the books I needed for the paper.

On my way back I saw YoonA in between the shelves. She turned then she saw.

"Omo! What are you doing here?"

"Doing research work" I smiled.

"I thought you and Hara are supposed to be going home together?"

Oh, so she already knows about me being friends with Hara. Could've Hara told her about our day in the park? I hope not.

"She told me, about her new friend. I saw you during lunch, and I was a bit relieved when it turned out to be you." She smiled, answering my unasked question.

I grinned, she was relieved? Wow! "I had to start on my paper, that's why I came, but Seung Hyun is with her, so no worries noona." I said, I needed to at least explain to her in simple words that I didn't flake on her cousin. 

"Okay."

I went to my table and unexpectedly she followed. She pulled a chair and she sat next to me. Oh my, is this really happening? YoonA-noona is next to me. I can feel it, my heart is pounding out of  my chest again. I feel so happy, I'm trying not to grin to much. 

"Can we talk?" She said out of nowhere.

"Ne noona."

"It's about Hara."

"What about her?" I said anxiously.

"Ever since she was a kid, she was always alone. She spend her childhood alone, and she never really had any friends. This makes it her first time to actually have one. So please, try to understand her stubborness. She can be full of herself sometimes."

I laughed.

"What?" She asked, offended. I think she felt like I wasn't taking her seriously, but it turns out I do. I know what she said is true. I know about that side of Hara, I always thought that maybe haughty rich girls -expect YoonA-  are normally like that, so I at least try to understand her at times.

"Mianhamnida, but I do know what you're talking about, noona. At times, she can be stubborn, the sharpness of her tounge can even put Seung Hyun into silence." I laughed again. 

Then she smiled. "Yes, I've experienced that from her, and sometimes it turns out to be the truth. But, please try to understand her more, will you?"

"Ne noona, I will be a good friend to her."

"Kamsahamnida."

After we ended our conversation, I expected her to go to another table, but instead she stayed. My heart did a little leap. This day is turning out great. So I opened my books and started studying. At some point, there are things I couldn't understand, so I tried to ask her to explain it. She smiled, and even willingly read it herself, and taught me about it. It was great, she was really smart. I guessed I kinda knew, it was one of the qualities I dreamt her to be. 

At 5 o'clock, I walked her to the front of the school, we waited for her driver to come pick her up. While waiting, she immediately searched something inside her bag. Then she took out a white envelope.

"Are you free this Saturday?" She asked eagerly.

"Ne noona. Why?" Omo! Is this really happening, is she asking me out on a date? I can't believe it!

"It's my competition this Saturday, and I was thinking if you can come."

"You bought this ticket for me?"

"Yes. I even gave Hara one. It's a thank you gift, for Hara, and being a good friend to me." 

I felt a little disheartened. I was just a friend, no more no less. My expectations left me hurt. Even worst I think she wants me to go out with Hara. Otoke? But I felt a bit guilty in rejecting her so I just agreed to go with Hara and took the ticket.

"Really?" She said excitedly.

I nodded.

"That's great!" She said happily.

Then we saw her driver coming from the street.

"Annyonghi kasayo, and thank you again." She came closer and gave a kiss on the cheeks. Omo! 

She smiled and went to the car. I waved at her mechanically. 

I touched where her lips kissed me, and it was warm, and I also feel warm. Omo? I can't believed it. Did just happened? Was it just a friendly kiss? Or something else? Either ways, I felt happy. 

"YAHOOOO!" I jumped. I left the school, feeling like the luckiest man on earth.
