Goodbye
What If?On our last day on the resort, we started it by going down the beach and watching the sunrise. We woke up at six in the morn and sat on the shore. With her head rested on my shoulder and my arm around her waist. After a while, we took a sit on one of their cottages and waited for breakfast to be serve. The manager was the one we came with our food, and personally served us. When he came, I couldn't stop thanking him for what he did yesterday.
"Well you made a deal with me, and I just did what I had to do. Besides, there was no regret there. I'm actually happy for making the two of you for having a great time here." He said.
YoonA thanked him also, and after a while, he left us both to our food. When breakfast ended, we went back to our casa, and started to get ready for our flight. When it was about time for lunch, we went to the reception area, to bid goodbye to the staff and of course the manager.
"Thank you again, for having us." YoonA said to the staff and the manager.
"Oh it was a pleasure having you two." The manager said, and the staff nodded in agreement. "Especially you TaeMin, it was a delight having you here. You remind me of myself when I was about your age." He winked, but the staff laughed at him. He scowled at them, "Well he did, love makes you do amazing things, so my advice for you YoonA, never let this man go. You'll have a happy fairytale if you'll have him as your prince."
YoonA smiled at me, and looked back to the manager, "I most certainly won't let go of this charming fellow." She said and held my hand.
"Oh, I almost forgot, I have a present for the you two," he said, and one of his staff handed him two frames. "Here, I hope you both like it," handing us the frames. We looked at him curiously, and he told us to turn it upwards. We were surprised to see, that it was a photo of us last night. It was the time when we were slow dancing in the middle.
"How did you even get this, manager?" I asked.
"One of my staffs had a camera. She felt that it was very romantic, so she wanted a shot of it. Of course we all wanted this vacation of yours to be memorable so we had it in print." He explained. "And also, this idea of hers, made me thought of a good plan. From now on, we will post photos that will make our guests even more special in our resort." He said, and he pointed at a wall, that was decorated with frames that are empty except for one. There was a frame with our photo on it. "We'll start with your photo, of course, is that okay?"
We both nodded, "Of course manager, thank you so much for this." YoonA said, and gave the manager a hug.
The manager chuckled, "Such a sweet gesture from a beautiful lady, now run along now you two, you don't wanna be late for your flight." He said, urging us to get in the service car. "Goodbye you two."
"Goodbye manager." We said, and we waved back at him and the staff.
"I never expected him to be sweet." YoonA said.
"Yea, I never expected that from him too." I agreed.
When we got to the airport, we immediately check in, and took a small meal before the flight. When they already announced that we were about to board, we hurriedly rushed to the door.
During the flight, we talked about the tour she was going to have starting tomorrow.
"Are you excited for tomorrow?" I asked.
She nodded. "Yes, very much."
"Really? Then I hope you'll have a great time there." I said half-heartedly, I honestly feel happy for her, for going on the places she wanted to go, but not seeing her in a month was already too much. I was going to miss her a lot.
"But it won't be as great as the last two nights." She said, she was obviously trying to make me feel better. Maybe it was true, but as of now, she was still feeling more excited of going.
"Really darling?" I asked, at least I'll give a point for trying.
She nodded then she hugged my arm, and rested her head on my shoulder, "Will you miss me?"
"I already miss you now noona," I said and kissed the top of her head. "Promise me one thing though.."
"What?" She said, looking at me curiously.
"Don't come home with a blonde, blue-eyed boyfriend." I joked.
She laughed so hard. "No blondie blue-eyed guy would ever replace you." She chimed. I smiled at her. After a while, I check up on her, since she wasn't this usually quiet when we had our previous ride. I moved her bangs, and she was already sleeping. I moved her head, to make her more comfortable. When I stared at her, there was a tear from her eye. What could she possibly be dreaming about?
The plane ride was about 45 minutes. When it landed, we took out baggages and tried to bid our goodbyes. Frankly that was the hardest thing to do. Saying goodbye to her, seeing her for the last time, I literally felt like crying.
"So, goodbye darling." It was the first time she called me with something other than my name. If it weren't for the sadness, I would've been clearly overjoyed.
"Goodbye darling." I said with a teary smile, then I pulled her into a hug. Tighter and longer. "I just wanna take this chance to hug you like this, I'm not going to see you for a month, so I wanted to hug you a little longer, to take up all the days I'll miss of doing so." I said, my voice a bit cracked.
She hugged me tighter, her hands pressed against my back. I can hear her quite sob against my chest. I patted her back, "There there, I'll see you in a month okay?" I said.
She nodded. "I'll miss you so bad." She said, her voice thickened by all the crying.
"I will too darling. I love you." I said gently.
She looked at me, with her eyes wet and her face blushed, "Saranghae Tae Min." She said, and slowly I peeled off myself away from her, with my fingertips the last one to feel her skin. I kissed her gently on her lips. "Goodbye."

I listened to this when I made this chapter, made me cry because of the sad tune and 'cause of TaemYoon's parting, T.T
