I didn't discuss with my other friends about what happened. Even when I got back with them they looked at me worriedly, even wanting to asked about Taecyeon, but I think they sensed that it was still too sensitive to discuss about. 

The next day, I expected Seung Hyun to be the one asking me about what happened, expecting that Hara may have told him, but it turns out she didn't, since he was silent the whole day. Or maybe Hara told her, but warned him not to ask anything unless I tell him myself. 

On the rest of the week, I still couldn't stop thinking about what happened. Why was Taecyeon furious? What could've his relationship with YoonA? What right did he have to threaten me like that? Did YoonA's mom sent him to do that? Was Hara a part of this all? 

Questions couldn't stop popping inside of my head. Endless querries about the real truth about behind the things that have happened. I know they have answers to these, but only YoonA knows the truth. Too bad I have to wait 'til Saturday.

My phone's vibrations was the one that woke me up. I slowly opened my eyes, and looked at the time. It was still seven in the morning. When I was a bit composed, I took my phone, and answered the call.

"Ne?" I said in my sleepy voice.

"Omo! Did I wake you?" It was YoonA.

"Ne noona." I said briefly.

"Weh? Why aren't you at school?"

"We decided to sleep in noona, to finish out project. So I took a day off today, to at least have some rest." I lied. I was actually sick again, but I couldn't tell her 'cause I know she'd be more worried, knowing that she isn't here.

"Oh, did you get my postcards darling?"

"Ne, they were all pretty. I can't wait to here your stories about them." 

"About that.." She started. "Tae Min, I actually called to say sorry."

"About what?" I asked worriedly. Did she know about what happened between me and Taecyeon?

"On Saturday. It seems like our date is cancelled. My appa is throwing a party that day, and I know we had plans, but he insisted me to come. I tried to convinced him for me not to go, but.. I'm sorry, I miss you darling I really do. I also wanted to see you as soon as I land.. but now.." She said sadly.

I laughed a little, "I actually felt a little relieved." I started.

"Weh?" 

"I was planning on calling you as soon as you land, because I wanted to explain that I couldn't come meet you on Saturday. My mom told me to pay her off on the vacation we had last time, so I had to help on one of the events she's catering on Saturday. Sorry noona." I said. "Sorry, I made you worry over nothing darling." 

"It's okay. Sorry darling, but can I come over after the party. I really really want to see you." She said, half-begging.

"Of course darling." I said cheerfully.

"Then we'll have a date on Sunday." She chirped.

"Ne.. umm.. Noona, on Sunday, can we talk about something, it's important." I said seriously.

"We will darling." She said, suddenly sensing the tension. "I have to go. I'm gonna board in a few minutes."

"Okay, see you later. Have a safe trip." 

"Ne, Saranghae." She said, then she hung up. 

I really needed to talk to her. Her mom, her cousin, now Taecyeon. I couldn't stop thinking about them, I couldn't help but be bothered about the things they've said and done, especially Taecyeon. I couldn't help but decipher the signs in everything, I needed answers, and I need them fast. 

The whole day, I tried to think of ways on how to tell YoonA about them. Also, I wanted to explain, why I haven't tell her earlier. 

"Seems like something's bothering you?" My umma said, while she saw me sitting in the garden. I looked up and she was holding a glass of juice and some sandwiches. 

I smiled at her. I took the tray from her hands and placed it on the table.

"Feeling any better?" She said, placing her hand on my forehead.

"I'm okay umma, sorry I got to worried earlier." I said, assuring her. "It's just stress. School had been a little tough, don't worry umma."

"Is school really the reason?.. or is it a girl?" She said suspiciously.

I looked at her surprised. I didn't even expect that she'd know that I was thinking about YoonA.

She chuckled. "I'm your mother, but more importantly, I'm a little closer to you than your sister, so I know when something's bothering you."

I didn't answer. 

"It seems like you and YoonA are getting serious." 

"Ne." I said quietly.

"Do you love her?" 

"With all my heart." 

"Then why are you out here, growing old by the day just by thinking?" 

"Because it seemed like I'm battling fate for wanting to be with her." I said sadly.

"Didn't anyone tell you? Love is a battlefield. Every fight you need to take, every fight you need to win for having her is worth it." 

"Eomoni, how did appa handle it when granpa was against him?"

She smiled a little. "Since your appa, was a gangster, he was immediately judged by your grandpa. He was completely against him, I was their only child, and he was quite protective of me. For a while, I lost faith in our love. But one day your appa bravely went to our house and told him, 'I may have not enough, I may have not look better than the rest, and you may think I don't suit your daughter sir, but I promise you one thing, I can make her happy, I won't make her face hard things alone, I will be with her always. I will love her forevermore.' And your grandpa loosen up a bit, and when he saw how your dad change, he eventually approved of him." 

"OMO! Appa is cool." I didn't expect him to be like dad. Appa was usually a cheerful man, he wasn't violent, he never even laid on hand on me or my noona. 

"He was." She beamed. "Tae Min, fate doesn't decide everything. Sometimes, you have to battle with fate to be with the one you love. YoonA' a great girl, and if you really love her, don't be afraid to take the risk of going beyond boundaries." She adviced.
