Three days passed and his condition didn't progress. He remained unconscious, laying peacefully on bed, unaware of the silent please and cries I have every night. Once when his hand moved, I immediately reported it to the doctor, feeling hopeful that he might be awake, but instead my hopes were crushed when he sadly told me that it was normal for his neurologic functions to let his hand or other part spontaneously move. For three days, the daily routine I had only consist of going home to take a shower and change, and with the rest of the day are spent inside the hospital. 

"YoonA?" I felt a hand rested on my shoulder. I looked up, and there I saw a pair of similar eyes just TaeMin. It was his mother. For the last two days she was here, together with husband, we've grown so close with each other. Though it kinda saddened me that we only bonded now because of her sick son, but then her motherly warmth gave me strenght.

"Mmmh?" 

"You need to go home sweetheart. You haven't had a decent meal since yesterday." She said, looking concerned. "You also need to take care of your health."

"She's right YoonA, c'mon you need to go." Her husband said, not leaving his eyes from the newspaper. 

Through out the night, they've been with me the whole time waiting inside the room, anticipating for any sign of luck. SooYoung comes and goes during the day, briging over food for us. Sometime she comes and spends the night in the hospital. 

I shook my head, "I want to stay here appa," I said, holding TaeMin hand in mine, looking at his calm face. Darling, wake up soon please? I silently begged.

"YoonA, you need to go. I'm sure you're mother is also worried about you. C'mon, we'll just call you if something happens, ne?" She said, sounding so persistant. 

Feeling defeated, I just nodded my head, and stood up. "Arasso eomoni, I'll go then. I'll come back as soon as possible" I said bidding my goodbye with a smile. 

"Aniyo, just take your time ne? You don't have to worry about anything." She said gently. 

I nodded, but as soon as I closed the door, I was shock to find my own mother, standing in front of me. "Umma?" 

"We need to talk." She said calmly.

"So what's wrong mom?" I asked, as soon as we seated on a bench on the hospital's garden, away from prying ears. 

"Taecyeon told me about what happened." She said, staring off the calm scenery in front of her. 

"Oh." I said briefly, it wasn't surprising that Taec told her about what happened, what stunned me was, she actually had the conscience to come here and maybe.. probably visit him. 

She didn't answer, instead, we were just caught up by the sight in front of us. It was a mother, who was singing gently to her baby. Just like any other mothers, her eyes showed love and care towards the baby. She was holding her just like the baby is the most precious thing in the world. I didn't know how to take the situation, but for a while, I thought it seemed ironic since my relationship with my own mother didn't have that kind of warmth for now. 

"You know what reminds me hospitals..?" She asked me, finally breaking off the silence. 

I waited for her to answer. 

"You." She said, showing off a warm smile for the first time. "Having you seemed the biggest miracle for us and your father. Before I had you, the doctor told us, that something was wrong with my body, that it wasn't sufficient enough to carry a baby. So when I had you, we were both surprised and happy at the same time. I religiously followed what the doctor told me, afraid of what he warned us about before." She paused, looking at me with her brown orbs. "So when you were born we treated you like the biggest treasure we've ever had. But when your cousin died, I was anxious. I was so afraid that someday, unknowingly, something might happened to you. Feeling afraid, me and you're father got protective of you." 

My heart cringed, I didn't know she feel that way. My eyes close to tears as I waited for her to continue her speech. 

"Forgive me YoonA. I didn't know we were hurting you that much already.. I'm sorry." She said, and held my hand with her, enclosing them with her warm hands. 

I cried, I cried so hard and hugged her for support. I didn't know I much I miss my own mother, how much I missed her tight hugs. "It's okay mom." I said, my voice, slightly changed because of the crying. 

That afternoon, me and my mother had the teariest reunion. In more than half a year that I didn't see her nor speak to her, in just 4 hours I poured out all the feelings I had. I told her all my deepest thoughts, about TaeMin, about school in New York, about my dreams. All of it. 

Then my phone rang, I check the caller ID and read that it was SooYoung who was calling. 

"Yoboseyo?"

"YoonA come over."

"Wae?" 

"It's TaeMin.. he's awake YoonA."

Forgive me  I haven't updating much. 

I've been focus on my other fanfic. 

But I promise I'm going to finish this story this month.
