 ~ A week later ~

Hyuna as she despited the TV was enjoying a book lying on her bed while YongGuk was trying to revise some lyrics he wrote years agoin his room. They're eating together in the kitchen, each absorbed in their occupation : she had her eyes glued to her book and himself was getting upset at his sheet of paper and just throw it away. Raising the head, he was the first to realize the hilarious situation. For a long moment, he watched her eat her instant noodles while turning the pages of her books blankly. She was so concentrated and he found this damn y.She often failed at putting the noodles in and actually stopped to eat after failing for severals times. YongGuk  just bursted into laughs, making her come back to earth with some innocent and amazed eyes to see him and most of all hearing him laugh. His defined jaw and his moving Adam’s apple caught Hyuna eyes , it was so manly and attractive .... but she quickly removes any “dirty” thoughts of her mind to ask him :

“What’s funny ?”

YongGuk had his lovely gummy smile and replied causally : “ You being a dork while reading.”

“Oh. I’m sorry” She closed her book and took a piece of tissue to wipe and started to eat properly, making Yong Guk laugh again. This time she raise her eyebrow :

“Am I this funny ?”

“No, it’s just that you seem used to hear that.”

“I zone out often while reading and try to gain time while reading and eating at the same time. You know in those moments time just become pages, chapters and this end just you read the last sentence of the book.”

“or lines in a sheetpaper …” Yong Guk completed. Both of their pair of eyes were looking at the paper in the floor. She picked up the sheet that Yong Guk threw away and started to read it. YongGuk froze as she took his piece of paper and started to iron it with her hand to read it :

My heart that has passed its expiration date
Was colder than any winter
You cheated me until the end
The love that was supposed to be eternal turned into a nightmare

I try meeting other people but my heart is trapped in a fence
I can’t trust anyone, now no one is by my side
I only look at the passing memories
I really hate you so I throw them away

Love feels like an extravagance, I just close my eyes
As if I’m shackled, the memories come to me

Her heart was aching, reading this. How can a break up be so well portrayed ? It was sad, and she totally related to this, as the many people that were or are lovesick. Sad break up and heart being frozen. She raise her eyes on Yong Guk and handed him back the piece of paper carefully.

“You wrote this ?”

He nodded quite shyly “ It’s been a while since I did but I tried to arrange music for this but it doesn’t go as I want it to.”

“I find it wonderful though I don’t know anything…… can I hear you rap this ?”

Yong Guk was ready to hide himself in his work room and to do as nothing has happened. But something in her eyes convinced him and few minutes later he make her seat in his little music room. She wrapped her arms around herself :

"This room is frightening, you know ? I feel like you’re some terrorist …."

He laughed, now relaxed by her joke. She stayed very quiet on her chair looking everywhere but not touching anything.

“Let’s me find back the music.”

Soon as the bass was starting, his face changed, he become quite aggressive and his all aura changed. His deep voice was surrounding the room and Hyuna saw hil under a new light.His flow was great, emphazing his low , particular voice, more than rapping heartlessly , he  was yelling his feeling, shouting out his anger.  His shy face that Hyuna was used to, have disappeared to let a more wild and quite y side of him charm herself.

He rapped with her listenning, without even knowing it was the first time that someone actually listenning this piece of work as he worked on this alone.

At the end of his performance, Hyuna was taken back with his professionalism but as soon as he stopped with the song, his gummy smile was on, he even blushed, quite embarrassed to show this side of him to Hyuna. She clapped her hands and high five him.

“You’re good, Youngster ! This low voice of you make it so particular !”

“Thanks you, but I didn’t finish to arrange it, in fact I was giving up …” He said with a quite sad voice.

"Why ? the lyrics are good, with a lot of images and your flow is excellent,  it’s quite sad to let a such beautiful song disappear."

"Why are you talking like a producer ? In fact it remember me a lot of painful memories and I hate it ."

She totally changed her attitude and stared at him. With their eyes meeting, she guessed that those depressed lyrics were just inspired of his experience and that even if it was a therapy to write your feelings, it is painful to remember of them.  She signed “Why love don’t work for us, do you have a explanation to give me ?”

He ignored her question, that for him was more like a statement or a complaint. Instead he sat next to her and gently throw her the microphone that she almost failed to catch it.She blinked :

“What do you want me to do with that ?”

“ Express yourself, you’re quite good at singing you know “  Yong Guk said with a lovely smile.

“When did you hear me sing ? “ she asked confused. She wasn't the kind to sing in her shower, neither while cooking, as she was most of the time silent.

“You actually don’t remember of when you’re drunk ? The first time, you were singing in the streets and people were staring at you with death glare, then you sang for me and Erin in the car when she dropped us, you sang Something from Girls day.”

“I did this … honestly I’m not resistant to alcohol and I only remember few moments...  but what does surprise me is that I didn’t dance to the song  ... well you did well, Moon Hyuna !”

“So sing now while you’re sobber.” he said, teasing her. She frowned and finally prepars herself to sing , suddenly she stated :

“Don’t expect nothing from this, though”

She started to sing, a song that she adors but don’t listen very often because It makes her cry very often. She had this concentrated face but also that weak voice that Yong Guk heard for the first time. When she finished her performance without any flaws, she sit back in her chair.They both sang with their heart and this is why each other performance sounded so good.

“You were good.”

She frowned :  “I don’t think so … The original version is so much emotional and at the same time  strong, her melancolic voice is portryaing so well her love, it's a piece of art. “

He looked at her quite amazed of the way she's talking but also of her love of music. She gave him back the microphone , now embarrassed of holding it.

"I finally get to know what you do all day in this room."

"Basically, yeah."

Soon her phone started to ring. Gray fabulous voice was hearing all over the place.

"Oh sorry, my phone,I  have to pick up,it's Evil Erin."

He nodded while she was discuting arguing with her friend :

“Clubbing tonight ? Ya, if we work tomorrow you can forget this idea. Boohh ?!!! you’re giving me my day if I come with you ?  She started her 90's dance of the victory but keeep on going with this conversation  confrontation..... No I won’t let you chose my outfit though !! Don't be that despotic. It will be just you and I, right ? Perfect !! So I will arrive … as you want, come and pick me up … hung up !”

Yong Guk smiled, hearing them argue. Hyuna sighed and stands up. : “I guess I’ll be going, Erin want to go clubbing tonight with me ! Anyways, it was goodto hear you rap, Youngster”

Yong Guk ruffles his hear relaxed in his chair : “Huh have fun” He was reassured that Erin was with Hyuna at a club, even if Erin was playful she could watch over her friend and for him, nothing could happen to her when Evil Erin was around. On the other side, he was happy that it wasn’t Saturday , he could feel that Himchan would drag him to some ty club this weekend and he didn’t want at all to be there.

Hyuna went back in her room after her shower and changed herself.Tired of wearing black, she chose a tigh blue dress that wasn’t too aggressive but still y, with giving a hint of her … She loved how this dress fitted her and just feels that this electric blue was well-chosen for tonight. Then, she put some glittery gray high heels with a little lip purse.She put on her jacket and get out of her room, seeing Yong Guk in front of the TV.

“So I’ll be going soon. “ She sit on the other sofa waiting for Erin to arrive. Yong Guk peek a glance at her, even if she had her jacket on, he couldn’t miss her endless legs, appealing even more to him with high heels on.  Why must she be so y ? When he sees her bare legs, -thing that he don’t see that often-  he just want to caress her tighs, throw her in his bed, see and touch more …. way more than her bare and flawless legs … but well he knew that it was innapropriate and think how much she would scold him as a elementary student if he will try something on her. Soon, she stand up and greeted him :

“Hace a peaceful nigh at home. I’ll be back … sobber this time.” She said while pointing her finger at him making him smirk. She cat walked to the door and soon he was left alone … appreciating a night at home. He was already watching some stupid variety show on the TV when Himchan opened his house door, all dressed up for clubbing.

“You, go change yourself !”

Yong Guk was lying in a comfortable way on the sofa and he pouted. Can’t I have a rest at home ? Himchan sighed seeing how his friend was motivated, and made him fall from the couch violently.

“I kind of prefer being ually harassed by you.” Yong Guk complained while trying to stand uo.

Himchan dragged Yong Guk to his room and  took off Yong Guk shirt and throw it away. Now he was choosing a proper outfit for his friend to club. Yong Guk frowned :

"Finally I hate both, I thought you were going to me ! Don’t ever take off my clothes again please.”

Pfiouhh, long chapter here, more than usual it seems to me.
