Morning came and so did Grandpa Yoon’s people. Luckily, So Min and Ji Hoo already headed off to work before the people could come in. They were pleased and fooled by the small stain on the white wrinkled and rumpled sheet. So Min sat in Ji Hoo’s car waiting for him to fill up his gas tank before going to work and subconsciously, she started to fiddle with her wedding band and engagement ring. The two rings are both adorned on her left ring finger. “God, these two rings put together weighs my finger down too much,” she thought as she wanted to take off at least one of the rings. He got back into the car just to find her ogling at her rings again.

She rolled her eyes. “Nu uh! These two rings are weighing my finger down! How can I work with it like this?!” she whined as she held up her hand to show how her ring finger was lower than all her other fingers.

He smiled knowing that she would bring that up. He noticed it last night so he took an extra silver chain he had laying around the house and stuck it in his pocket this morning, “Here,” he said putting his palm out.

“What?” she asked looking down at his hand.

“Give me one of the rings.”

“Which one?”

“Hmm… how about your wedding band? It’s the smallest.”

She nodded but still in confusion as to what he wanted to do with the ring. She gently slid it off her finger and placed it in the center of his palm.

He dug into his trouser pocket with the hand and slipped the ring into the silver chain and hung it in front of her. “Tada! That should do for now,” he said.

Her lips broke into a smile. “Very clever!” she complimented and took the necklace from him. She sat back and tried to clasp it.

He watched as she struggled. “Here,” he said unbuckling his seat belt and reached over to help her.

She turned to face the window to give him a better access. She raised her hair up so that the necklace won’t get caught in it.

He finally realize how smooth and fair her skin actually was. She wore a square neck shirt today showing him half of her beautiful shoulder and her neck clean and fair. He hasn’t felt this feeling of attraction since Seo Hyun. He loved Jan Di, but never the feeling of physical love. He tried his best not to touch her skin as if she might turn to ashes. He quickly clasped the clutch together and sat back to his seat and trying to calm his senses down. “I barely know the girl!” he scolded himself even though he knew that he wanted to know her more. Well, he knows her enough about her, but not everything.

She felt his intense breathing down her neck and tired her best to refrain herself from shivering even though she thought that if felt nice that he was so near to her. “God! I am such a ert!” she reprimanded herself and frowned, but then relaxes when he pulled away and she sat back in her seat.

“Alright, let’s get to work,” he said brushing off that feeling and started to pull out of the gas station and onto the road.

They pulled into the parking lot and Ji Hoo immediately spotted his new parking space. It was filled with red rose petals on the floor and the two yellow lines had the words ‘JUST MARRIED!’ on them and at the wall there was a picture of a wedding couple from Precious Memories Collections. So Min sat there gawking at the sight in front of her while Ji Hoo just blinked continuously.

“What… is… this?” she finally asked him.

“This hospital has finally hit its insane mark,” he commented and continues to carry on parking.

“I kind of figured that on my first day,” she muttered and shakes her head. “Today is going to be a long day.”

He chuckled and got out of his car with her following close behind him with her head hung low as they stepped into the elevator riding up to their work space. He stood watching her as she fiddles with her fingers and kicks a small pebble in the elevator in frustration. “Is being married to me that bad?” he joked.

She looked up and frowned at him. “It’s not you. It’s your famous title. People expect me to live up to your reputation just because I’m your wife,” she whined as she remembered looking at the net this morning and seeing mainly Anti-Ji Hoo’s Wife fans.

He shakes his head and grabbed her hand to reassure her. “Don’t worry. I think I’m the one who has to worry,” he said remembering how the first week of So Min offered up so many gossips from the male side of the staff. “Who knew my wife attracts so much attention from the opposite ?”

She lightly punched him with her other hand since her right hand was trapped by his. “You’re the one talk! I’m the one who get glared out and have an anti-fan website!”

He couldn’t help but grin. He wanted give her a little reassurance and kissed her on the forehead making her freeze in place. He didn’t know what made him do it, but he did it. Her hair smelled like sweet berries that filled his nostrils pleasantly. He inhaled it happily and felt intoxicated by her scent.

She was taken by surprised but didn’t recoil back from his kiss on her forehead. His sudden action allowed her to smell his aroma. His chest fell up and down in front of her face since she was a head shorter than him. She wanted to put her hand at his heart and feel his heart beat because she knew that her heart was about to jump out of her rib cage and wonders about his.

He slowly withdrew back but still held her hand. He didn’t dare to look at her because he suddenly felt shy. He couldn’t be his 4-diminsional self with her for some reason. She always made it hard for him to hide his feelings.

She also couldn’t stare at him. However, that didn’t stop her from grinning like a mad woman at the same time blushing a deep shade of red. “That felt really nice,” she whispered softly and honestly looking away and hoping that the elevator door would ding at any minute.

Her comment made his day. He smiled like a complete fool that he is. He suddenly felt the urge again to kiss her, but this time not just on the forehead. “What the hell? Why the hell not? She’s my wife, isn’t she?” he thought and came to a conclusion. His hand that was holding hers gave a soft tug and she was now facing his chest with her head down but still in shock. His gentle grin grew as he lifted her chin and evenly placed his lips down on hers.

The warm fuzzy feeling engulfed her stomach as she felt the sweet and innocent kiss. She has kissed a boy before just like this, but the feeling was different. Ji Hoo made her have butterflies in her stomach while the other puppy love kisses made her blush in a shy girl way. She wanted a little more than just an innocent kiss so she boldly wrapped her hand around his neck and she felt his arm holding her tighter by the waist.

The kiss caused the both of them to be in frenzy in each other’s arms.

His kiss caused her to be the happy girl she once was when she was younger before the life of a chaebol came in and took her happiness away. He caused her to forget the fact that she hated her family; the fact that her mother will never be with her again. He caused her to think that all she ever knew was happiness.

Her kiss caused him to be dizzy. He couldn’t help but grin and usually when it comes to showing emotions, he is the king of showing none. She made him forget about his parents’ death. She made him realize that he was normal. She made him realize the feeling of wanting someone next to him and be a companion.
