Narrator’s PoV

TaeTeuk:

10:00 PM:

Another normal night for the Kims and Parks… but… something will definitely change… or… was that Taeyeon’s feelings only?

Taeyeon was about to watch and critique a movie called Gandhi, a movie about the life and triumph about him, when he saw Leeteuk sitting quietly at the grand staircase with some sodas and chips beside him.

“Leeteuk?” He asked hesitantly as she take a peek if it was really Leeteuk who’s sitting at the staircase.

He smiled at her and even asked her to sit beside him. What’s wrong? Taeyeon thought for she was surprised with what Leeteuk was doing.

Taeyeon tried to be casual, “Kwenchana?”

Leeteuk smiled. “Are you?”

Taeyeon smirked. “Yah! You’re changing the topic you know! I was the one who asked you that!”

“What do you think?” He retrorted wittily.

Taeyeon inhaled, “Well… outside Leeteuk from a while ago says ‘Yes I am fine!’ while the outside Leeteuk now says, ‘No I am not!’” She said trying to sound a manly voice.

“What about the inside Leeteuk?” Teuk asked with a smile, enebaling his dimples to be seen.

“The inner you says ‘No.’ since the debate…. I guess… what’s wrong?” Taeyeon asked whole heartedly. This time, she’s more confident and at ease as she was talking to him. It was like, she’s having a bery normal conversation with a friend.

Leeteuk made an angelic smile, You know, huh? “Nah! I am fine!”

Taeyeon choked. “Liar! I know you are lying!”

“Why did you made yourself look miserable at that graduation night?” Teuk murmured as he was staring at the grand piano from the 1st floor.

Taeyeon stopped and froze. “I beg your pardon?” she asked with butterflies flying inside her stomach. Why is he asking that?

“You… you looked miserable at that graduation night when you confessed your feelings to me…. but now.. you can manage to  smile, act like a dork and even manage to beat me in every competition that we have….” Leeteuk replied.

Taeyeon smiled. “Molla… was I that miserable that time?”

“Yes you are… I saw the way you cried…” Teuk said. And it made me feel bad…

“I don’t even know why I cried that time…” Taeyeon said as she hugged her knees and moved back and forth while sitted beside Leeteuk.

“Were you hurt?” He asked and now, he managed to look into Taeyeon’s sleepy eyes.

“Uhm…” Taeyeon started. “Of course! Who would not be hurt? But… I can’t blame you for not liking me… I mean… look at me… I look…”

“Terrible?” Leeteik finished.

Taeyeon giggled. “Haha! Well, yes, I guess I look terrible.” She joked. “Why are you asking anyways? Have you experienced the same feeling already?”

Leeteuk smiled. “Yeah… and now I am scared…”

Taeyeon’s heart broke. Not that it was because of the fact that Leeteuk was hurt because he ‘LIKED’ someone before, but because of the fact that he was hurt and scared. Taeyeon’s eyes were full of worries as she stared onto Leeteuk’s eyes and ask, “Scared of what?”

“I don’t even know….” Leeteuk confessed. “I don’t know…”

“Looks like you’ve liked someone already… well… she’s one lucky person since you like her… however… it’s bad that she was able to hurt you… that was the biggest mistake that she had.” Taeyeon patted Leeteuk’s back.
