Taeyeon brought one arm around Sunny's waist and ushered her into the restaurant where they were having dinner together with the rest. He could see Yoona trying to stop Yuri from embarrassing her when he starting waving at them like a kid while Jesse just face-palmed himself.

“Oh my God, that idiot...” Taeyeon sighed to himself.

Sunny looked at the direction where Taeyeon was looking in and couldn't help but let out a giggle at Yuri's cute actions, waving back at the tanned guy. Taeyeon's jaw dropped when Sunny walked towards the table and gave Yuri a big hug before taking her seat next to Yuri. 

“Taeng?”

Turning around to the pat he felt on his shoulder, Taeyeon saw Hyoyeon and Sooyoung standing behind him with weird expressions on their faces. “Why don't you go there instead of staying here?” Sooyoung asked. 

Without waiting for his reply, Hyoyeon dragged him to the table and greeted the rest while Sooyoung did the same, taking the seat next to Jesse while Hyoyeon sat next to Yoona. Taeyeon just sat next to Sunny and placed his hand into the pocket of his jacket, making sure his little gift was still there safe and sound. 

“I've already ordered a variety of dishes but if it's not enough, we can always order again.” Jesse said, taking a gulp of his water while making eye contact with the other 3 guys sitting at the table with nervous expressions.  

Yoona held onto Yuri's hand, interlacing their fingers together. She already knew the purpose of this dinner tonight so she wasn't surprised at all and she was well aware that Yuri was feeling guilty for having to leave her. Yuri turned towards his girlfriend and grinned, looking at Yoona's beautiful smile. 

Jesse was holding Tiffany's right hand, playing with the little ring that he had bought for her to celebrate their fourth monthsary together a few weeks ago. 

“Weeee, food!” Sooyoung exclaimed and quickly arranged the dishes before the waitress could start the fire for them.

Everyone sighed at Sooyoung before thanking the waitress, trying hard to ignore the waitress who was clearly controlling her laughter at Sooyoung's behaviour. Hyoyeon just looked at the shikshin with a small smile, wondering why this adorable side of him wasn't visible to her before. 

“Excuse me, Hyoyeon-noona. It's time to eat, not to stare...” Yuri teased, earning himself a high-five from Jesse while Hyoyeon glared at him.

Sooyoung turned to Hyoyeon, finding the poor girl blushing hard. He couldn't help but continue to admire Hyoyeon, still chewing the food in his mouth. Yuri and Jesse just smiled to themselves, seeing the loving gaze Sooyoung had just like they did with Yoona and Tiffany respectively. Sometimes they couldn’t understand the love-hate relationship between Hyoyeon and Sooyoung but that was also one of the ways they expressed their feelings to one another; it was something to treasure between their two other unofficial couples.

“Baby, say ahh...” Yoona requested cutely, holding out a lettuce wrap in front of Yuri's mouth. Yuri just opened his mouth and accepted it like a good kid; hardly paying any attention to the mischievious looks on Yoona and Taeyeon's faces. Yoona rarely teamed up with anyone against her boyfriend but seeing how cheerful and cute he was being, she simply couldn't resist. They watched as Yuri's face started to change bit by bit, his expression getting more and more painful by the second. “!” Yuri cursed and ran to the restroom, covering his mouth.

Yoona stood up abruptly; she hadn't expected that to happen. She looked at Taeyeon and his expression mirrored hers, they were both just as clueless about how the prank had turned out this way. Looking at the sad and worried look on Yoona's face, it obviously was no accident that Yuri had to run to the toilet. Jesse caught on right away and he stared at Taeyeon, glaring daggers at the eldest before he took after Yuri. 

“What did the both of you do now?” Sunny asked, her tone clearly showing that she wasn't pleased with the events of tonight. 

Taeyeon kept mum and looked down while Yoona kept turning back, wanting to see if Yuri was fine. Hyoyeon bit her lip, trying to hide her smile from the rest while Sooyoung just continued eating, knowing that it would be the only way for him to stop himself from laughing. If those two idiots had used a bit more of their brain, they would realise why no one else was giving much of a reaction. 

“BUAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH! Did you see the look on Taeng's face?” Jesse laughed hard, slapping his thighs as he continued to mock Taeyeon's expression.

Yuri wasn't known as the No.1 Prankster for nothing; he could already smell the garlic and extra hot chili together with a couple of unknown ingredients when Yoona held out the lettuce wrap. Well, there was no way he was going to let Yoona or Taeyeon off the hook without getting back at them.

Jesse had been watching everything going on while Yuri was teasing Hyoyeon so he simply had to contribute to the fun before Taeyeon and Yoona discovered anything.

“What if we act like you're really sick?” Jesse said, his eyebrows moving up and down. 

Yuri grinned back mischieviously, shaking his head as he whispered his plan to Jesse. These two brothers should never be underestimated when they were together, especially when they were in the mood to fool people. 

“Yoong, don't worry. Yuri will be fine, okay?” Sunny tried to comfort her poor dongsaeng, watching Yoona's expression turn into a downcast one. 

A while ago, she was indeed unhappy and wanted to scold Taeyeon until her eyes met Hyoyeon's. Since neither Hyoyeon nor Sooyoung were displaying any signs of worry or anger, there had to be something more to the story than this so she went to the female restroom, texting Tiffany to ask if she knew what was going on.

And there it was, the secret was out.

“I shouldn't have agreed to prank him, what if his stomach gets upset or he gets sick after this?” Yoona mumbled to herself and the other girls had to keep themselves from giving in, the sight of Yoona being sad and guilty was taking a toll on their weak hearts.
