Huh? Something was vibrating

*Ring Ring

I opened my eyes and tried to figure out what was vibrating

*Ring Ring

I looked at the table to see my phone vibrating like a maniac and calling at the same time

I reached out my hand and grabbed it

"Yoboseyo?"

"Aigoo~~ I thought you died" I heard Changmin's voice say

I yawned

"Aniya.. I think I.. fell asleep" I said and rubbed my eyes

"Just now? It's like.. 6 pm .." He said

"Oh chincha?.. I've been sleeping for 4 hours"

"You're tired?" He asked

"A bit.."

"Well.. I was just calling to see if you were ok"

A tiny spark of happiness inside of me lightened up

"Oh.. yeh.. I'm fine.. How about you ? You're feeling better?" I asked

"Yeh.. Gomawo.."

I giggled

"Gwenchana.. GO and rest araso? I'll see you tomorrow"

We hung up and I stretched out on the couch.. Seems like I had fallen asleep on the couch while watching tv..

*Ring Ring

I sighed and grabbed the phone again

"Yoboseyo?"

"Eunmi Sweetie? It's Mom"

I jumped out of the couch

"MOM!" I squeaked

"How's everything?"

"Fine! How are you and dad?"

"We're fine.. Is school ok?"

"Yeh.. Everything's fine mom.. Is dad ok ? NOt sick or anything?"

"Aniya.. We're both fine.. Listen, We've been moving the past few days.. and we're almost settled.. It's about 20 minutes away from your college if you're walking.. Would you like to move home?" Mom asked

"Yeh.. I've missed you.. Of course I'm moving back"

"Araso.. You have an appointment at the doctor's tomorrow.. We'll pick you up at 10 am araso? I'll call your teacher for you"

"Araso.. I'll see you then"

The next morning, I decided to not go to school at all and instead stay home. I had 3 lessons, Math, English and history. Well .. I wanted to meet mom and dad more so one day off wouldn't hurt.

I was in a rush in the morning so I kind of forgot my cellphone at home, I realized it on my way to mom and dad

"Why isn't she coming?" Yoochun asked

"Do you think she overslept?" JaeJoong said

I shook my head

"Impossible.. she went to bed really early yesterday" I said

"Let's go to school then. I think she's there already" Yunho suggested

"Aniya.. She knows that I'll be picking her up every morning.. What if those girls starts bugging her?" I said

"BUt let's go to school. We've been here for 10 minutes already.. If she's not there we'll just come back here.. then she maybe overslept" Junsu said

I nodded

She didn't answer her phone either..

We entered our class and when I looked around, I couldn't see her anywhere

"Where is she?" I whispered

"Not here.. I think" Yunho whispered back

We walked over to the nearest table and sat down and ignored all the girls happy eyes that were watching us

"Do you think she's home?" I asked

"Changmin, stop worry. She is maybe at the ladies room or something" Junsu said

I nodded

When the math class had started there was still no sign of her. Not after 30 minutes either..

Not after the lesson

When the class was dismissed I took out my cellphone and dialed her number

"She's not answering?" Micky asked

I shook my head

I hung up and dialed it again

"The number you're trying to call cannot be reached, please leave a message after the tone"

A tone was heard . I hung up and looked at the clock

Our next lesson was starting in a few minutes

"Where is she?" JaeJoong asked

I shrugged

"I'm worried" I said seriously and looked at the members

"Let's go to her place after the school's over" Micky said

I nodded

"MOM!! DAD!!!!!!!!" I squeaked and ran into their arms

They hugged me tightly and laughed

"Good to see you again!" Dad smiled

"Let's go!" Mom smiled

I got into the car and dad took us to the hospital

"How's school?" Mom asked

"Fine.."

"Chincha? Any new friends?" Mom asked

"dae~~ I met a few guys.."

"GUYS?" dad asked

Both me and mom laughed

"Dae~~ They have been taking care of me.."

"oh .. gentlemen huh?" Mom teased

I laughed

"Dae~~"

"What's their names?" Dad asked

"Hmm.. JaeJoong, Yunho, Yoochun, Junsu and Changmin" I said

"oh.. Are they nice?" Mom asked

"Dae~~ Of course.. I have this project in school.. and I'm married to Changmin"

"MARRIED?!?!?!" both mom and dad yelled

I laughed

"It's just a make believe. It's in psychology class. We're suppose to prepare ourselves for the big events and decisions in the future I guess. This is like.. a taste.. an experience.. of what's waiting for us in the future"

"Whoa.. sounds like a really good project" Mom said

"It is.. It's fun actually.. Everyday, we have to write in our report books and hand it in by the end of the week"

"Like a diary?" Dad asked

"Dae~~"

"So.. how's your Nam Pyeon then? I hope my Son-in-law is treating you good" Mom laughed

"He is mom.. He's really.. caring" I said

"Oh chincha? Can we meet him?"

I started to laugh

"MOM ! It's just a make believe.. We shouldn't go that far!" I said

Dad and mom laughed

"We're here" Dad said

I got out of the car and went inside the big hospital with dad and mom

We headed for the reception, and the lady behind it told us to go to floor 3 and sit down in the waiting room for the meeting with the doctor

We waited about 20 minutes when the doctor, Mrs Park cam out and greeted us

I sat down in the examination room and smiled happily

"How are you Eunmi~~ssi?" Mrs Park smiled

"I'm fine.. !!" I smiled

All of us laughed because of my happiness

"Well.. We'll be taking some tests today just to see how your heart is araso? and then we'll show you some papers" She said

I nodded

"Does your parents want to stay here or?.. Cause it's gonna take about an hour or so" Mrs Park asked

I looked at dad and mom

They shrugged

"How about you and mom go home and settle everything down and come back in an hour or two?" I asked

Dad looked at me

"You're sure? You don't want us to be here?" He asked

I shrugged

"I'm a big girl.. Besides.. it's just an examination.. not an operation.. So come back later" I smiled

They nodded

Dad and mom left and soon the whole examination began

She took my blood pressure, checked my heartbeat. I was going through a lot of tests that was testing my heartbeat before I was pushed into a big white "space ship" If I can call it like that. They were taking pictures of the heart.. I guess

That examination took about 50 minutes before it was done and then Mrs Park called me back into the examination room where she checked my breathing again

About 1,5 h later, everything was finished but still there was no sign of mom and dad coming yet

I sat in the examination room and waited

Soon The doctor came back with a few papers and she closed the door and handed me some papers

"Eunmi~~ssi.."

"Yes?" I looked up

"As you know.. the wait list for heart transplant is really long.."

"Yes.. "

"And.. I just got the pictures from the examination earlier.. Your heart.. isn't in a good condition"

I quieten and looked at her

She took out the picture and pointed at the different areas. She turned off the lights and the lightboard

"You see here.. your blood .. it has a lot of liquid. Your heart's capacity of pumping out blood is low, which will lead to that the volume in the blood will become low too in your arteries. Low arteryvolumes of blood stimulate the special volumereceptors in the heartcrockery system. Which will in the mean time lead to ADH, more tiredness, headaches and cramps"

I didn't say anything and just kept listening

"It's very serious... You will become weaker as time passes.. and you won't have the strength to keep on going like you are now.."

I couldn't say anything.. still stunned and shocked

"Have you been sleeping a lot lately?" She asked

I nodded slowly

"I was really tired yesterday .. I slept the whole night.. about.. 8 hours.. and then a few more hours after school.. which means .. 12 hours" I whispered

"Well.. normally it's only 8 hours.. Have you been feeling awkward? Like.. cramps or.. headache and so on?"

I shook my head

"I want you to be prepared Eunmi~~ssi. So that you won't get all scared when these symptoms will come. I think it's about to begin.. I can't tell you exactly when it's starting.. but just be prepared.."

I didn't answer and looked at my heart

"I will inform your parents as soon as they arrive" She said

"NO!!!" I shouted

She looked at me surprised

"No.. Don't" I said quietly

"wae? It's your parents" She said

"BUt I'm 18.. I have the right to decide it.. right?" I asked

She nodded

"Don't tell them.. I don't want them.. to worry.." I said quietly

The doctor looked at me for a long time before she nodded

"Araso.."

I looked at my heart again and felt the tears coming up

"How long?" My voice.. cracked

She just sighed

"How long?" I asked and blinked away the tears

"I don't know.. It depends on your body.. It's different for every person"

"Average?" I asked

"3-6 months.."

My mind went blank

"What's the shortest?" I asked

She took a deep breath before answering

"2 months"

I swallowed

"But Eunmi~~ssi.. Your body is healthy.. and it hasn't showed any signs of being weak yet.. I don't want you to think of it and I want you to keep on living like you're doing now. Do everything that you are doing now and try to live life as normal as possible.."

I nodded

"Araso~~"

Suddenly something was beeping and I looked at the doctor. She took out her pager

"Your parents is here" She said

I nodded

"kamsa Hamneeda" I said

"Live life araso?"

"I will try my best. I won't give up hope.. not yet" I said

She nodded

"Good girl"

I took the papers and put it inside my jacket

I went out of the examination room with the doctor and ran to mother and father as I saw them

"How did it go?" Mom asked

I nodded

"Fine! Let's go home!" I said

"Kamsa Hamneeda Doctor.. Annyeong kah sayo!"

"Where is she?" I asked for the 100000 time in the kitchen at our dorm

"I think she's just cutting school today.." Yunho said

"Wae?" I asked

Yunho shrugged

"Or maybe.. she went to a friend's house or something?" Junsu said

I shook my head

"But why isn't she answering her phone?" I asked

The members shrugged

It was already 7 pm and I had been calling her ever since we finished school. I even stood outside her college room for 30 minutes and rang her doorbell but she didn't open

We were sitting and eating dinner and I was still trying to call her

"Where is she?!?!" I groaned

"Changmin~~ah.. Stop worrying.. I think she's fine.. She'll call you when she gets home" Junsu said

"eat..." JaeJOong said

I shook my head

"I can't.." I sighed

All the members looked at me

"Why.. are you so worried about her anyway?" Yoochun asked

"Bowh?"

I looked up

"Why are you so worried about her?"

I couldn't think of an answer so my answer was shrugging

"Is there something you want to tell us?" Yunho smirked

I raised an eyebrow

"Uhm? It's not what you think"

"You're sure?" Junsu smirked

I rolled my eyes

"Cut it off.. I don't have any feelings if that is what you're talking about"

"Fine!" Yoochun laughed

"She's my wife.. araso?"

"Dongsaeng, it's just a project" JaeJoong said

"She's our friend" I said

They all quieten

I smiled proudly

"haha, Who should be Hyung here huh?!" I said cockily

They all groaned

I stood up and went to the hallway

"Where are you going?" Yoochun shouted

"TO EUNMI'S PLACE!!"

I grabbed my coat and hurried outside

I walked around the corner and headed towards her collegeroom. When I was about to open the gatedoor I heard someone walking in heels behind me. I spun around to see Eunmi approaching. She was staring down on the ground

"EUNMI!!" I shouted

She reacted and looked up

My eyes widened

Her eyes were red and swollen and she was shaking

I ran over to her and looked at her

"Hey.. you're ok?" I said softly

She instantly wiped away her tears and smiled

"Of course..! Why wouldn't I be? You've been waiting for me?" She asked and hurried to the gate

Stunned I looked at her

I followed her inside her collegeroom and closed the door behind me

"You want something?" She asked

"Aniya.."

"You sure?" She said and looked at me

"Eunmi.. Is everything alright?" I asked

She nodded

"OF COURSE! Why wouldn't I be?" She laughed nervously

Ok.. this was getting really odd

I sat down on the couch in the livingroom and saw her cellphone

I grabbed it and pressed it

"Whoa.. 28 missed calls.." I mumbled

"hey.. have you seen my cellphone? I can't find it.. any.."

She stopped and looked at me

"Here.." I said and handed it over to her

"Thanks" She smiled

She took it and pressed on the buttons

"WHOA !! 28 missed calls! I wonder who that might be?" She smiled

"Me"

She looked up

"You?"

I nodded

"Wae?"

I stood up and looked at her seriously

"Where have you been all day? And.. why have you been crying?"

She laughed and looked away

"I haven't cried or anything.. Why do you think that?" She said

She was about to go to the kitchen when I grabbed her wrist and forced her to spin around to face me

"Koh jid mal.. Don't lie to me Eunmi~~aah.. seriously.. Why have you been crying? Where have you been all day?"

She quieten and looked at me

"Nothing.. really" She said

I shook my head

"Tell me.. I've been looking for you the whole day. I thought that something had happened to you" I said

"You did?"

I nodded

"Wae? I'm fine.. and everything's fine and.."

"NO! Everything's not fine!"

She sighed

"It's nothing.. It's just me.." She said

"What about you?"

She looked at me

"Why are you so curious?" She asked

"CAUSE I CARE!!" I shouted

She looked shockingly at me

I shook my head

"I care about you.. that's why" I said quietly
