Mi Sun P.O.V

“baro, baro wait.”

After the three of us met each other, baro just said good bye and walked off. Okay, more like running away.

“Baro! Baro!”

I shouted so loud that everyone in the lobby was looking at me, except baro.

“Hey!” I run up to him and grab his arms.

“What?” he shouted back, which startle me for a second.

“Sorry.” he whispers, this time.

“Erm, are you angry?” I asked.

“No. why?”

“You look angry.”

He chuckled. “I’m not.”

“Hey, is everything alright?” jin young, who finally caught up with us asked.

“Yeah.” baro said, forcing a smile.

He’s acting weird. Oh, maybe he got a little surprise seeing me and jin young holding hands?

“We were playing a game just now, that’s why we’re holding hands.” These words just came out from my mouth all of a sudden. What a lame reason.

Baro look at me, but he didn’t speak.

“Right, sunbae?” I look at jin young, giving him a “just say yes” look.

He nodded.

“Okay.” He said.

The three of us stood outside our condo in silence for a moment, until baro started coughing.

“Are you okay? Did you go to the hospital?” I asked.

He shakes his head, covering his mouth, coughing.

“Do you want to go now? I can give you a ride.” Jin young asked.

Baro shake his hand that wasn’t covering his mouth.

“No. I’m going to get some cough medicine now. See you tomorrow, mi sun, sunbae.” He nodded his head.

“Wait.” I said, “I’m coming with you.”

“No, just go home.”

“But-”

“Come mi sun, I’ll bring you home.” Jin young said.

“Good night.” baro bowed at us and left.

Why does he sound so angry?

Baro P.O.V

Why is mi sun with jin young tonight? And why are they holding hands? Playing games? Yeah right, mi sun will never play such childish game.

BA-DUUM BA-DUUM

My heart is beating like this again. But this time, it hurts.

Did I shout at mi sun? I wasn’t being myself just now. What is wrong with me?

I cough harder the more I think about it.

Wait, why do I even bother?

~The next morning~

Mi Sun P.O.V

“You alright honey?” my mom asked.

“Yeah, why wouldn’t i?”

“You weren’t as talkative as usual last night. You didn’t even realize I was home. Did anything happen in school?”

“No, nothing. I’m just worried about my exam.” I lied. The truth is, I was thinking about baro the whole night. Did he get home safe? Is he still coughing?

“Don’t worry about your exams, you’ll do fine.”

I nodded as I watch my mom spread the butter on the toast. Just then my phone vibrated.

1 new message – hambaro

Hey mi sun. I’m not feeling very well. I don’t think I’m going to school today. Sorry. Be safe, okay? =)

Baro is sick? The medicine didn’t help? Should I reply?

Hey, don’t worry about me. I’ll stop by after school. Take good care okay? Do you need anything?

“Honey it’s almost 7am, aren’t you suppose to meet your friend?” my mom asked.

It’s okay. You don’t have to come. I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye.

“Erm yeah. I’m going now.” I grab the toast my mom made for me and headed to the door.

“Bye mama.” I kissed her cheek. She smile and nodded at me.

Is he still avoiding me because of what happen last night?
