Mi Sun P.O.V

“I’m home!” I said, taking off my shoes. Then I saw something unusual.

There was a pair of man’s shoes.

A man? Who could it be?

“Mom?”

 “In here darling.” I heard my mom called.

I walked in and saw my mom sitting in the living room with a man. The man stood up and greeted me.

“Hello Mi Sun.”

I froze. I can’t believe the person I despise the most is in our home, standing right in front of me.

“It’s been a while.” He said.

I glare at him.

“Yes, it’s been a while, father.”

Jin Young P.O.V

Jin Young, where are you now? Mi Sun came to my parent’s restaurant looking terrified. She didn’t have anything with her. Something is not right. Come over.  –Shin Woo

I sigh and lean back on my seat.

“Is everything alright? You look intense.” My driver asked me.

“I hope so.”

He chuckled. “Don’t worry, Shin Woo is strong.”

I didn’t reply him. It’s not Shin Woo I was worried about, it was Mi Sun.

Mi Sun P.O.V

“Here you go.”

“Thank you, Shin Woo sunbae.”

He nodded and took a seat opposite me.

“Is it alright if I stay here until you close?”

“Sure. Is this why you chose the corner seat that no one can see?”

I nodded and took a sip of my drink.

“Ahh. Well, good for me. I could use a nap over here.”

He rested his head on the table and fakes a snore.

I laughed and put my drink down.

“Practice on a Saturday?” he asked. I nodded.

“Did you come straight from school?”

“Erm, something like that.”

He looked at me. “Don’t you want to go home and take a shower or something?”

I sigh. “I just don’t feel like going home.”

“Hmm…” he said with his eyes close. “But you are all sweaty.”

I laughed.

He sits back up straight. “I’ll have a look at the kitchen and come back, okay?”

“You don’t have to.”

He chuckle and patted my shoulder. “Don’t worry. There are not many customers at this hour.”

“Okay. Thanks.” He nodded and left.

Jin Young P.O.V

 I jump out of the car as soon my driver reached Shin Woo’s parent’s restaurant.

“Should I wait here, Jin Young shii?”

“It’s okay. You can go.”

“How are you going back later?”

“I’ll call. Thank you.”

I shut the door and run into the shop. Someone grab my shoulder when I went in.

“Shin Woo.”

He nodded his head. “Last table on the left.”

“Thanks.”

Mi Sun P.O.V

I drop my bags on the floor and walked into the kitchen.

“Track practice?” he asked. I didn’t answer him.

“Still running huh. Remember when you used to ru-”

 “What do you want?” I asked, facing him.

“Can’t I come here to see my daughter?”

“I’m not your daughter.”

“How can you say that?”

“You left, remember?

He looked down on the floor. “Well, i-”

“What is he doing here?” I asked my mom.

My mom sighed and stood up from the couch. She held up a white envelope.

“What is that?” I said.

“Wedding invitation.”

I almost drop my cup when I heard that. “W-what?”

Before anyone could say a word, I walked out the kitchen and grab the envelope, reading the content.

“You’re getting married?” I asked.

My so called father nodded. “I want you to be-”

“No!” I yelled. “This has nothing to do with me. Right, mom?”

My mom looked at me but didn’t say a word.

“M-mom?”

“We’ll talk later.” She said, patting my shoulder.

“No. I am not going and that’s final. Mom!”

“Just, go take a shower.”

“What? Why aren’t you backing me up?”

“Mi Sun…”

I toss the wedding invitation on the floor. “You know what, I’m out of here.”

“Mi Sun, stop.”

I ran out of my house before my mom could stop me. Instead of the elevator, I used that stairs. I ran all the way down, out of my apartment. I stopped running when I was out of breathe, to only find myself standing in front of Shin Woo’s shop.

“Mi Sun, Mi Sun.”

“Huh?”

I turned my head and saw Jin Young waving at me.

“J-jin Young oppa?”

He looked at me up and down. “Are you alright? Why are you dressed like this?”

I looked at myself. “Oh, er..”

“Why haven’t you changed?”

I sighed. Even if I want to, I have nothing with me.

“Oh hey.” I said. “Can I borrow your cellphone?”

“That was good.”

“Yeah.” Juri said, holding my track cloths. “But this stinks.”

“Shut up.” I said, drying my hair with her towel.

She sat on her bed and looked at me. “Now, care to tell me why did you turned up in my house looking like this without anything?”

“Where’s Jin Young oppa?” I asked.

“He’s playing with Junho. So?”

I took a deep breath and exhaled. “He’s back.”

“Who’s back?”

“You know…” I tilted my head.

She looked and me. “Oh my gosh, no way.”

“Yes way.”

“What does he wants? I’m calling Channie.”

“No wait!” I said, taking the phone from her hand. “Maybe he’ll leave quietly like the last time.”

“But..”

“No. He has a basketball competition soon. Let’s not bother Channie.”

She sighed and put the phone away. “If he finds out himself, he’ll be freak out.”

“It’s okay, he’ll understand.” I said.

Juri nodded. “Anyways, how come Jin Young oppa is with you?”

“Long story. Can we eat?”

She laughed. “Okay. My parents are out. Let’s go out for lunch.”

We headed out to her living room and saw Junho playing with Jin Young’s phone.

“Junho.” Juri called. “Time for lunch.”

“Really? Can I choose?”

“Of course.”

“Yay!” Junho came running into Juri while I put on my shoes.

“You alright?” Jin Young asked as we headed downstairs.

“I’m fine. Just hungy.”

He laughed.

“Oh, oppa.”

“Yes?”

“Thank you.”

He zipped up his jacket and smiled at me. “Anytime.”
